I've read this exact stuff in my local paper blog comments.
Though you know if this happened during Bush junior's reign, the conservatives would be harping it was all due to Bush juniors finesse, skill, talent, government oversight, etc. Sigh. They'll never give Obama a break or any credit. They really do hate him that much.
Obama could cure cancer and end world hunger and they would still hate him. It is to be expect from the bigoted un-intelligentsia on the right. They are what they are. Hopefully over time the number of limited primitives will diminish due to natural causes.
The lower prices are the Oil syndicates way of making alternative energy a too-expensive alternative. Think of them as the Wal-Mart that comes into a town and drives out of the competition.
