Just a few photos of our fearless leader throughout 2014.

Charming the Aussies
Well somebody didn't like the joke.
I hear the Republicans are your new fan boys. You can have'em.
Going 3D
Never turn your back on kids.
Speaks for itself.
There are a whole lot more over at The Obama Diary if you want to see them.

These next two years are going to be really tough for the President, so I hope we get to see that infectious smile of his in spite of that.

Mark my words history is going to judge him as one of the best this country has ever produced. Of that I have no doubt.

Totally agree with you, Gryph, I absolutely adore this man! I'd vote him for a third term if I could.

  4. One of the all-time greats. And think of all those books, describing his life and accomplishments.... and what the Repugs did- to wit, absolutely nothing of note.

Well, the Repugs have done a few things, they have written several non-factual books about the President. And articles that are outright lies.

Yes, it's all there for posterity, with names. "Great President, in spite of the obstruction and lies."

Each photo is priceless! The koala bear, the kids, especially the little girl on his right hugging his arm, and then Rick Perry's expression cracks me up. President Obama is the best.

The expression on that little girl's face, like she realizes this is a special person (not "The President," but just a special adult) is really telling. The level of comfort he instills in children is wonderful. You can tell he really likes and connects with them. Even the koala knows it.

I love the expression on the little girl's face hugging his arm. All the kids love him and aren't afraid of the big bad black man. Kids and babies are color blind.

Gryph, I concur. I just hope also, that the 113th and 114th Congresses can be shown, in History, to be what they have and will be, Obstructionist, Petty, Vindictive, Racist, and Traitorous. Further, the Rethuglikan Party needs to be shown as anything but concerned about the welfare and health of the citizens of this country.

He and Michelle are so damned cute! Love them being in the White House and wish them well in 2015 especially with having to deal with the asshole Republican majority in the U.S. Congress.

The majority in America will be pulling for President Obama!

The name of the game is going to be passed Bills with various amendments (put there by Republican) attached to make it difficult for our POTUS to veto. Know he'll do what he thinks is best for us though.

Given where this country was headed in January 2009 and where we are headed now, President Obama must go down in history as one of the greatest.

One thing many people don't understand is how he has brought us back into respect as a nation citizen of the world. Bush/Chaney isolated this country (the repubs have the gall to call this "exceptionalism") with their posture that everything had to be solved through war.

I can't believe that, up to 2008, I voted mostly republican (yeah, and I'm ashamed to admit, I voted for the big "W"). I'll never make that mistake again

Kids have a keen sense of who to trust (unfortunately, society and conditioning beat it out of them as they grow up). Seeing all these pictures of Barack with kids tells me all I need to know of him as a man.

How many pictures have you ever seen of McCain, Sarah, W, Dick Cheney or Mitt Romney with happy kids around them?

Kids, especially babies, can sense a phony a mile away.

Compare the pictures of those others trying to interact with kids to the many, many pictures of Obama doing the same. The facial expressions and body language of the kids says it all. They trust President Obama but don't feel comfortable around any of the others.

My favorite video is the one of the President taking the crying baby and calming him/her right down and then smirking at Michelle.

Oh yeah. And to think of the hatred and vitriol and lies he has had to contend with...that he is still fighting and smiling says so much about him. He could have chosen not to put himself through another term, but he wants this country to be great again. We're with you, sir!

I often wonder if his mother and grandparents were alive if he would have been subjected to all the hatred and vitriol he has endured. Especially regarding his birth certificate. Why do I say this? Because his parents and maternal grandparents were white and they would have squashed the nonsense of his birth place being in Kenya.

Nor I. What President Obama has accomplished in light of the unprecedented obstruction from the cons is truly amazing.

I gotta wonder, how will Obama deal with life after his term is up? I mean, he's not only a husband and a father but he also holds arguably the highest office on the planet. Kinda a hard act to follow, even if it is your own act :)

I suspect he, like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, will become actively involved in charitable work. During his term, he has consistently - if not always successfully, thanks to the GOP - tried to make the world better for the poor and middle class.

I expect him to continue those efforts in new ways he could not pursue as President. I have no doubt the Obamas will continue to improve the lives of people the GOP has targeted.

I cannot imagine him sitting at home, painting pictures of himself in the bathtub!

8:03 AM Knowing our outstanding President Obama, I'm sure he already has ideas in place as to what he wants to do with the rest of his life. He's going to be fun to watch!

First off, will probably pen a new book on his two-termed presidency. It would be a huge best seller!

I so agree that he will go down in history as one of the most outstanding POTUS our country has had! I voted for him both times and wish he could serve another term.

I'd like to suggest his likeness be placed on Mt. Rushmore! Wonder what the procedure is to get that done? Does it have to go through Congress? Know today that Republicans would block it, but down the road, as time has passed and more of his history proven, perhaps it could be accomplished?. Sure would be neat!

We might not see it in our lifetime, but it will happen.

President Obama's face will be carved beside the faces of Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, and Jefferson, as a jewel in the Shrine of Democracy.

That one doesn't show what kind of a President he is - it shows what kind of a MAN he is. And that can't be learned because it comes right from the heart.

Either you're a man who feels comfortable wearing a bejeweled tiara surrounded by Girl Scouts, or you're not. You can tell by his genuine grin and the girls' expressions that he most definitely IS comfortable. You can also tell that he is the loving and devoted daddy of two daughters of his own.

Barack H. Obama is the Greatest President of Modern Times

His list of accomplishments, even minus any opposition, would be staggering. Considering the odds against him, they are truly monumental. In all these areas, he has made life better for Americans. Not just for the rich, but for all Americans.

  16. If Hannity didnt tell you this is the man who single-handedly and irreversibly destroyed Amercia because he hates Amercia, you would never guess it by looking at these pics. If I didnt know better, I'd say he actually looks like a pretty decent guy.

Thanks, Sean, you sick fuck sack of shit douchebag, for telling us the real story about the kenyan-born, muslin extremist, socialist nazi communist, Barack HUSSEIN Obama!

This great man has left us more respected by all countries in the world. It started off with the Nobel Prize - before he even took office! Then it has continued on and on from the trust and love our European allies see him with because of his strong guidance in times of strain and crisis. Then there are those who other administrations have held to be an 'axis of evil'; Putin in Russia, the Iranians, Syrians...they have all found something special in this mighty man of decision. There is no fear of a wild cowboy warlike mentality if they make a misstep in their progress. Mr. Putin has time to consider the impact of his moves in the Ukraine and will come to right them. The Iranians will see the blunder they are making in moving toward nuclear weapons and will, because of this strong black man's patience and leadership, do the right thing. Syria - both ISIS and Assad, will come around and be our friends as they learn from our President that he extends an open hand.
Halleluyah for our wonderful leader, I like our military, would follow this great man anywhere without question (in fact I often do). I am so thankful to finally have a leader that I can trust enough to not have to understand at a deep level all of the issues because I know that whatever he is for I am too!
