Newest jobs report exceeds all expectations. Probably the one thing the conservatives will not blame on Obama.

Courtesy of CNN Money:

Hiring surged in November as employers added 321,000 jobs, crowning 2014 as the strongest year for job growth since 1999. The unemployment rate remained steady at 5.8%, according the government report released Friday. That's down from 7% this time last year.

Hiring blew out the consensus forecast from economists surveyed by CNNMoney, who expected a gain of 228,000 jobs.

"The number is almost off the charts, given what we've seen over the past 10 years," said Patrick O'Keefe, director of economic research at accounting firm CohnReznick, who does not feel it's an anomaly. "Companies are making up for hiring that was deferred earlier in the cycle."

The U.S. economy has been gaining an average of 224,000 jobs a month over the past year. Any month with job gains over 200,000 is considered strong.

Gee it's too bad that President Obama made the poor choice of being born with too much pigment in his skin, or this might really really impress people.

I swear if they announced that this man had cured cancer the conservatives would bitch about all of the doctors and researchers that he had put out of business.

By the way somebody remind me, who was the President in 1999? And WHICH party did he belong to?

Yeah, and that worm Priebus is doing his level best to diss this amazing number:

“Creating 300,000 jobs in one month shouldn’t be a new high; it should be the minimum we expect,” Priebus said in a statement. “Today’s jobs report shouldn’t be an aberration; it should be the norm. Sadly, it’s not.”

Someone needs to tell Mr. RNC PR BS that under Bush, even before the Great Recession hit, we were averaging 10000 jobs per month. He didn't have much to say then, did he?

I freely admit to stealing it from Mr. Charles Pierce; he writes for Esquire.com & is absolutely the best at nicknames. Calls Palin "Princess Dumbass of the North Woods".

A report I heard the other night said that, unlike many previous months when most of the new jobs were in minimum or lower wage positions, many of these jobs are in higher wage areas.

It seems like many companies that have been postponing hiring people for the better jobs are finally starting to feel more confidence in the economy, and expanding their workforces.

History will someday show that this President was among the best this country has ever had, particularly since he faced obstruction every step of the way.

It's quite an accomplishment for President Obama and his persistence in getting the people's work done. The numbers don't lie.

From Andy Borowitz' FB page (he's a comedy writer with super snarking powers):

Republicans Question Obama's Motives for Fixing Economy
WASHINGTON - One day after an especially strong jobs report showed an increase in hiring and wages, prominent Republicans questioned President Obama's "suspicious motives" for repairing the economy. "When there have been so many months of job growth, it does make you wonder what he's up to," said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). "You add in the rising stock market and falling gas prices, and the whole thing doesn't pass the smell test." Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell accused the President of "cynically fixing the economy to distract the American people." Echoing his fellow Republicans, House Speaker John Boehner warned the President, "If you think you can fool the American people by putting them back to work and raising their wages, you're headed for a rude awakening."

O/T from the "Cuh-wistians Do Da Cuh-waaaaziest Tings!" Department (emphasis mine)

"Canada Family Keeps Father’s Corpse for 6 Months, Praying for Resurrection"

"... Peter Wald, who suffered from diabetes had an infection on his leg and INSTEAD OF SEEKING MEDICAL ATTENTION TURNED TO PRAYER. When the infection took his life, his family turned to prayer believing God would resurrect him.

“'We were trusting God. We thought, "OK, Lord, you know better,"’ Kaling Wald, 50, told the Hamilton Spectator after the court hearings."

Now, what's going to happen is the Republicans are going to take credit for EVERYTHING this President has done for the last 6 years and make it look as though THEY were the reason why things have gotten better. The stupid and weak Democratic Party as a whole is going to go right along and believe them. I'm definitely going Independent next go round!
