Hillary Clinton may announce her candidacy for President in the spring. Jeb Bush cannot wait that long to attack her.

Courtesy of MSNBC:

Hillary Clinton’s delayed 2016 timeline is finally coming into focus. Which Democrat will actually run against Hillary Clinton?

John Podesta, who is expected to serve as Clinton’s campaign chairman or in another senior role, said Wednesday that he plans to leave the Obama White House next month, ahead of a Clinton announcement expected in the late Spring.

“I’m probably going to leave in early February,” Podesta told Reuters. “If she decides to run, I told her I’d do anything I can to help her.”

While some in Clinton’s orbit pushed for her to get into the race early, she has opted for a slower time frame, scheduling non-political paid speeches as late as March 19.

Democratic insiders increasingly point to early April as the most likely launch window, which would allow her to avoid filing a campaign finance report to the Federal Election Commission for the first quarter of the year. Easter falls on April 5 this year, so the week after appears likely.

However even though Hillary has not officially announced her intentions to run for office, that has not stopped Jeb Bush from delivering a few weak rabbit punches.

This from Politico:

Speaking at a closed-press fundraiser in Connecticut on Wednesday night, Bush suggested to potential donors that the former secretary of state would have to explain President Barack Obama’s foreign policy mistakes, Hearst Connecticut Media reported Thursday.

The outlet, anonymously citing attendees who heard Bush’s remarks, reported that the former Florida governor took another not-so-subtle jab at Clinton.

“He said, ‘If someone wants to run a campaign about ’90s nostalgia, it’s not going to be very successful,’” Hearst Connecticut Media reported, citing another person present at the event.

Seriously? Is he going to try and ding her for what he perceives as the current President's foreign policy mistakes?

He does recognize the problem with that doesn't he?

Well if he didn't he certainly should have:

Bush also dismissed broad comparisons to his famous family, according to an attendee.

“He said, ‘Do you have a father? Do you have a brother? Are you the same person?’” the unnamed source told Hearst.

Holy crap! If this guy were holding a gun he would be taking careful aim at the foot currently firmly stuffed into his mouth.

What an idiot!

So, if I understand Jeb correctly, he is not the same person as his father or brother but Hillary is the same person as President Obama. Jeb is an idiot but we already knew that.

12:51 PM Think it's reverse, kind person. No Republican candidate (especially Jeb Bush) has the experience level as does Hillary Clinton. She'd be the first woman POTUS. Personally think she has much more going for her than any of the Republicans named to date.

Plus, we need another Democrat as POTUS in the White House for another eight years. President Obama has done such an outstanding job!

Who is the troll? Simply disagreeing is not trolling. The comment was on topic. And do you know the commenter to know how much time they spend here or anywhere? Your comment however was off topic and definitely trolling since you are trying to derail the conversation.

Well 1:21, neither are candidates yet, so both can neither win or lose at this point. And if either runs, they have to actually win their party primary before actually becoming the official party candidate. Hillary is already a one time loser there, 8 years ago when she was such a sure thing. She doesn't have the nationwide support you guys think she has. She is not going to be president. How did being honest turn into hopelessness and apathy? Glad I got you mad though that makes me tingle.

1:09 I am not suggesting anyone. Hillary just won't win, that is all I'm saying.

1:12 blah blah blah yes you are a big Hillary panty sniffer, we get it. Not everyone is so impressed with her supposed awesome 'experience and knowledge'.

      Delete
    7. Anonymous3:22 PM

You just popped in and made some grand pronouncement that Hillary was a definite loser. You offered no alternative opinion or anything else to add to the conversation. What do you think you know that makes your prediction so superior to everyone else here? Hillary has quite a lot of experience and knowledge, actually, why are you so quick to dismiss her? She didn't win 8 years ago, (and it's weird that you say she was a "sure thing" then when she obviously was not and was beaten by the better candidate at the time, from her own party. Though if you remember it was a long, close, hard fight. You act like some Republican beat her, lol) so she got up, dusted herself off, went to work, and yes, she has become a better potential candidate, whether she actually declares or not. This is simply a fact.

And yes, "Hillary just won't win" is an apathetic statement when there is nothing to back it up besides your own arrogance. How much national support do you think Jeb Bush has? And "tingling" because you're so sure I am just so mad because I asked you to explain the idiotic declaration you made is a pretty good sign that you're a hopeless type, who by your own words gets a thrill out of "getting people mad" when you supposedly are just so much smarter than them, on a blog that you apparently never spend any time at. Just passing through, huh? Whatever. You admit by your own stupid words that you're a troll, the same troll who continually makes these same kinds of remarks on every Hillary thread. Hope my reply makes you tingle for a few more minutes before you have to go troll someone else for kicks, you sad little person.

You seem to think you hve some superhuman powers that allow to assess who is whom, and how people spend their time. Who said anything about just passing through? Or not spending anyt time at all here? When you call people idiots for no good reason, don't be surprised when you're called out.

    9. Anonymous5:21 PM

Oh, you don't know about the others? Ok well you wanna explain how my post at 1:21 was off-topic then? How was asking someone to explain their stupid and baseless pronouncement an attempt to derail the conversation? And how is it "calling me out" when you pick a throwaway comment, obviously made sarcastically, out of a two-paragraph post that attempted to clarify my earlier comment and respond to a later post, to declare me a "nutcase" who honestly thinks I have intimate psychic knowledge of other people's posting habits? Though someone on this very thread proclaimed that the most popular potential candidate for President has "NO CHANCE, just letting you know" and that isn't a nutty thing to just throw out there with no reasoning as to why? THAT person obviously doesn't seem to think they have "superhuman powers" that allow them to see the future 2 years from now?

And I called this person a troll and an idiot, which upset you...yet the second post I was responding to calls someone who said not one rude thing to them, a "panty-sniffer?" I don't care about people "calling me out" but calling someone a vile name like that for no reason kinda pissed me off. Surely someone as "above-it-all" as you seem to be, would want to call THAT type of behavior out, too? Naaahhh, that didn't bother you at all, huh? That strikes me as a little strange. Can you tell me why the other poster who most assuredly wasn't YOU, I'm sure, would call someone that simply for disagreeing with them, and why it's okay with you? Why are we held to such different standards? Or you could just call me a "nutcase" again, I suppose. Just trying to understand your reasoning, is all. Can't wait to hear back from you!! :)

And since you seem to be a Palin lover, If Track Palin was the big war hero in the family, then HE'S the only one who meets the requirement you yourself set for someone to be President. Elizabeth Warren Lays Out Populist Agenda In An Epic Call To America (VIDEO)

The real American Sniper was a hate-filled killer. Why are simplistic patriots treating him as a hero?

Clint Eastwood’s film about Navy Seal Chris Kyle has hit a raw nerve in America, with right wingers calling for the rape or death of anyone ungrateful enough to criticize his actions

...Chris Kyle, a US navy Seal from Texas, was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and claimed to have killed more than 255 people during his six-year military career. In his memoir, Kyle reportedly described killing as “fun”, something he “loved”; he was unwavering in his belief that everyone he shot was a “bad guy”. “I hate the damn savages,” he wrote. “I couldn’t give a flying fuck about the Iraqis.” He bragged about murdering looters during Hurricane Katrina, though that was never substantiated.

Mitch McConnell And GOP Trying To Take Credit For The Economic Recovery

It had to happen eventually. For the last six years, the congressional Republicans have filibustered and obstructed every economic policy the Obama administration has initiated. In spite of the opposition, these policies have helped to yank the nation out of the worst recession since the Great Depression, creating nearly 11 million jobs in 57 months while tripling the Dow, reducing the deficit and generally improving most economic indicators to levels not seen since the 1990s.

The GOP did everything they could to flummox the recovery, knowing it would help the president and the Democrats. Indeed, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) stated quite clearly at the outset of the administration that his primary goal wasn’t to pitch in on the economy, but instead to make Obama a one-term president.

But now that the economy has improved in spite of those efforts, guess who’s revising history and demanding credit?

Mitch McConnell, of course. Yesterday, in the face of reality and years of statistics, McConnell said:

After so many years of sluggish growth, we’re finally starting to see some economic data that can provide a glimmer of hope; the uptick appears to coincide with the biggest political change of the Obama Administration’s long tenure in Washington: the expectation of a new Republican Congress. So this is precisely the right time to advance a positive, pro-growth agenda.

Staggering that the Majority Leader is allowed to be this utterly moronic.

PolitiFact Busts Mitch McConnell For Trying to Steal President Obama’s Economic Record

      “False”.

This is the harsh ruling PolitiFact had for Mitch McConnell’s claim that the economy improved because the GOP won. Further, “The data we found suggest McConnell is engaging in some wishful thinking.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) started the new session off with a bang Wednesday by claiming in a Senate floor speech that the recent economic uptick appeared to “coincide” with “the expectation of a new Republican Congress.”

But then reality showed up and it was not impressed. Not only is there no causation, but McConnell is not even correct about the timing of the uptick. This is a Mitt Romney level fib — it doesn’t even have its feet near the ground and it’s layered with hypocrisies and etch-a-sketching.

Here’s what McConnell said: “After so many years of sluggish growth, we’re finally starting to see some economic data that can provide a glimmer of hope. The uptick appears to coincide with the biggest political change of the Obama administration’s long tenure in Washington: the expectation of a new Republican Congress.”

This figment of McConnell’s imagination is Romney level etch-a-sketching because Republicans spent the entire election (and acutally, last 6 years) telling us that Obama had ruined the economy and only they could fix it, in between fear mongering and blaming Obama for Ebola. But now they are taking credit for an economic uptick that they denied until they won.

Unbelievable...more victimization from Palin. Her statement to Breitbart regarding her Today show interview:

"In contrast, in an interview the day before this Lena Dunham lovefest, Guthrie asked me if I, after enduring days of hate and threats spewed at my family again, took a ‘cheap shot’ at Obama by merely mentioning his admittance to eating dead dog in the plainspoken post I wrote defending my innocent son and his good dog. John Boehner Throws A Fit Over President Obama’s Threat To Veto Republican Bills

...Later, the Speaker of the House was asked if the Democrats where really obstructing because he already knew where the president stood on Keystone XL and Obamacare. Boehner responded with a tantrum, “Well, the president, you know, at a minimum, he could have waited a few hours, or even a few days. We were taking our oaths of office when they were issuing veto threats. C’mon.”

Boehner was tantruming because reality is starting to set in. Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader McConnell believed that President Obama and the Democrats were going to roll over and let them do whatever they wanted. It was ironic of Boehner to complain that Obama issued his veto threats quickly when it was Republicans who met on inauguration night in 2009 to discuss how they could gridlock the Congress and obstruct President Obama.

STICK TO THE ISSUES. Personal shit does not matter and double standards will continue to kill the world

And Gabby Giffords would still be in Congress able to walk, talk, and think. Who's responsible for putting crosshairs on Gabby and causing her life to be changed forever? And I'm talking about the insane Laughner either.

Name one they slaughtered or killed, and keep a straight face. It's always the media's fault, no one takes responsibility, right?

It was the Republican, Sarah Palin, that went crying bloody murder to what she called the lame stream media when her feelings were hurt and her adoring public dared to criticize her for a dumb Face Book post. And yea, we can imagine if the media were right wing based, we're living with it. That the media is liberal is a right wing meme that's been thrown around for the past twenty years.
      Stick to the issues indeed.

The media IS right wing based. Almost all media outlets are coporately owned and have a conservative running them. Name one that doesn't.

The false "liberal media" crap is just a right wing meme designed to manipulate the masses.

Oh, STFU. Yeah, personal issues don't matter until you want to use them to bash a Democrat. Your whining gets no sympathy from me. Double standards, indeed.

SusyQ, thanks andm if you remember, Gabby herself got on TV and asked that $arah stop what she was she was doing. In the end, she paid, and there came the "blood libel" crap. FUCK you, $arah, and whatever troll of yours decided this post would be a good idea. Seriously, FUCK YOU and the swayed-backed Jill you rode in on, you bitch!

Suzy Q. Laughner was a severly deranged schizophrenic. Severly. He had been obsessed with Giffords for a long time. Please understand this. As much as you like to make this connection with Palin, it just isn't true. You are lying or stupid. I am close to this whole matter and it disturbs me that people so easily misrepresent the reality.

It does sound like an unfortunate coincidence that Mrs. Palin placed targets over Giffords district and then she and others were shot by a madman, however, many of us, including Mrs. Palin herself don't believe in coincidences which means that you'll have a hard time convincing many that Jared Lee Loughner was not encouraged by Mrs. Palin's thoughtless behavior.

I guess, also too, being "close to this whole matter" as you say you are you could have at least spelled Loughner's name correctly.

At the rate this GOP majority congress is starting out, we'll be lucky if we have any semblance of a country left by Nov 2016.

Sometimes the jokes just write themselves. Do you have a brother a father? Are you the same person they are? What a brilliant comeback from a brilliant man! Does he know who his brother is and what happened that took Obama six years to clean up? Seriously, this is what they're putting up against Hillary, or any other Democrat? Kind of pathetic if you think about it.

Well, that certainly is not saying much for him. My blood pressure goes up just thinking that he may well be the GOP presidential candidate. This country simply cannot afford to have another Bush in the White House. Remember that he handed Florida to his brother; he ignored the beginning of the mortgage crash in Florida; he went a long way to torpedo public education there as well. And, he's a Bush and that's never a compliment for anyone.

The Republican party has been trying to downgrade Hillary Clinton for over a year! Everything they put out about her is negative and so much of it conspiracy junk that has not proven to be factual!

They know they have no one near her capabilities and experience!

I think Hillary Clinton will run and win! And, I can hardly wait to have another eight years of a Democrat in the White House that will do good, helpful, solid work!

Can you imagine having two President Clintons? President Bill Clinton is loved around the world and would be a huge help to President Hillary Clinton!

Republicans are going to flop big time in 2016! Just look at the obstruction and crap they are already doing in the current U.S. Congress! Why would a poor, black, brown or Asian vote for them? Or, women? Screw them is what I say!!!

They do NOT listen to the population. They are covering corporations and the rich! That is ALL!
