The terrorist attacks in France offer Sarah Palin the perfect opportunity....to attack President Obama again. Actually for her doesn't EVERYTHING offer this opportunity? Update!

Courtesy of the petite salope's Facebook page:

After the atrocious attacks of September 11th, the world unified behind our great nation, stiffened its collective spine, and took a stand against Islamic terrorism. (By launching an attack against a country that had nothing to do with it.) Following last week’s brutal attacks in Paris by Muslims with the same evil terroristic beliefs as the 9/11 savages, today the world came together again against the death cult that is the radical Islamic “faith.” The largest crowd in Paris’ history just proclaimed “Je Suis Charlie” as Germany’s Prime Minister locked arms with the President of France and marched the streets that her country had occupied generations ago. The heroic Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the King and Queen of Jordan, the UK’s Prime Minister, the President of Mali, the Palestinian President, and so many others all put differences aside to proclaim, “Enough is enough! Evil shall not triumph!”

There was one noticeable absence – the man who promised in 2008 to restore America’s image around the world…the man nominated for the Nobel Peace prize just two weeks into this failed Presidency…the man who would seek to destroy those who effectively question what he is doing to America and her allies. (Mostly trying to fix the problems that his predecessor created which makes them all much less safe.)  Where was President Obama? Or even, in his stead, Vice President Biden? Secretary Kerry? I’ve no idea what took precedence on our President’s schedule this weekend, but America was MIA as the rest of the civilized world unified against Islamic fundamentalism.

I humbly dare speak for many concerned Americans tonight (Humbly?) in asking, “Good God, Mr. President, we were once known as the leader of the free world, standing for what is right! You must not let America’s sacrifices be in vain. When will you learn that actions speak louder than your words?”

To the people of France, please know that we, the American people, stand with you in this fight against the insanity that is Islamic fundamentalism. Americans love our fellow man seeking peace, so we cry with you, “Je suis Charlie!”

There are more of us than there are of them. Barack Hussein Obama, do not give an inch to this evil.

Sarah Palin

First off does anybody really think that conservative trash talking Sarah Palin gives two shits about France?

Yeah neither do I.

Look as an American I would have loved to have seen the President standing in the front of that line of world leaders in Paris with his arms linked to Germany's Angela Merkel and  Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

But I also know that travel out of the country for the most powerful man in the world is a complicated affair, requiring weeks of preparation and negotiation between the White House and the host country.

As it turns out Secretary of State John Kerry already had a previous appointment in India, though he is planning to stop in France this week.

And as it turns out while the conservatives over here are making a big deal out of Obama's absence, the French leaders themselves are not at all upset:

French President François Hollande's office also defended Obama. A senior official told CNN's Christiane Amanpour that the U.S. president has been "very present" since the attacks, noting that he was one of the first leaders to call Hollande last Wednesday.

The official also pointed to Obama's visit to the French Embassy in Washington last week. "For us It was an emotional moment of solidarity," the official said.

Of course all of this is beside the point really since the real point of this Facebook post is to attack President Obama, which is the point of many of her Facebook posts, and the rally in France just offered Palin's ghostwriter another opportunity to bitch about him.

Just like the criticism Palin received about those pictures of Trig standing on Jill were an opportunity to attack the President, even though he had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with it.

Reasonable people may find legitimate cause to criticize the Obama administration for not sending a representative to this event. However Sarah Palin was proved time and time again that she is anything BUT reasonable.

They say when you are a hammer everything you see is a nail.

Well when you are a Palin, everything you see is an opportunity to attack the President.

Update: Hmm, it looks like the President made the right call in not showing up.

Fake photo-ops, well that explains why Palin thought it was s good idea. Those are her favorite things ever!

Can you imagine the target he would make? Who knows, maybe intelligence has been found that would make his visit a bad idea. Amazing what some find important to dwell on when the world is such a dangerous mess right now.

The march in Paris was a security nightmare for the leaders that were there. A president of the United States would have increased the risk exponentially. Perhaps Sarah Palin is not bright enough to consider the possibility the Barack Obama did not participate specifically because he knows the risk he poses to anyone around him.

      THERE WAS NO THERE THERE

As American media goes into all-out concern troll mode because President Obama didn’t join other world leaders at the demonstration in Paris, it should be pointed out that those world leaders weren’t actually at the demonstration either.

They were in a separate isolated area, under heavy security. This was a staged photo op, made to look like they joined the marchers spontaneously.

here's part of the press statement from the White House:

“Had the circumstances been a little bit different, I think the president himself would have liked to be there,” he said.
“This was not a decision that was made by the President,” Earnest added.

Earnest blamed the short time frame in which the event came together for keeping American leaders from attending, as well as U.S. security requirements which would have been “onerous” for other attendees.

“We’re talking about a march that came together in about 36 hours, and a march that took place outdoors,” Earnest said, adding that had Obama or Biden attended, “it would have significantly impacted the ability of those in attendance to participate like they did yesterday.”

President Obama and his team made the correct decision in NOT being there is my 'humble' opinion (Sarah Palin is NOT humble in any way, shape or form!).

Where ever he goes he takes a huge security team and there is no way that would have worked there. He has many, many death threats made constantly too.

CNN has been running a constant theme since that march to get folks that watch them riled up due to the President Obama not being a part of the march. Holder was there at the time although he didn't participate in the march. He was there to confer w/France officials. Kerry is going there today or tomorrow. Don't worry - the USA is doing it's job!

And, fuck you, Sarah Palin! You could care less about France! Get in front of a good journalist on TV and let them ask you questions about France and it's history. We all know you'd flunk big time!

Pretty cheap talk from someone who missed the last two years of her term for Governor.

Aside from the security issue, Obama is not much of a photo opp guy like Palin is. Palin talks (and talks and talks) and Obama walks. He gets things done while those who were trying to get French Fries banned in this country (when France exercised its free speech rights and criticized the war in Iraq) now are singing France's praises.

Sarah Palin is a very shallow woman. All hat and no cattle. And I grow tired of her trying to divide the Country into us and them. It is not us and them. We are all Americans.

Today's FB post is just one more opportunity for Rebecca Mansour to feel like she matters. One more chance to spin some words together with enough vitriol to make sure they get noticed, and then post them on Sarah's FB page. Trust me, Sarah probably wasn't even up yet when this post went out. But that's the beauty of this whole perverse arrangement: a woman who would otherwise NEVER be heard from, gets to sit in front of a computer somewhere, anywhere and write whatever she dang well feels like, then posts it as if Sarah wrote it.

Are you happy with yourself, Becky? Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this time it was Nancy. We know Nancy is lacking in the conscience department because she's been posting as Bristol lo these many tedious years.

Here's one thing we know for sure about today's FB post - Sarah Palin did not author it. Oh sure, it has her level of nasty, acerbic snark. But it has far too much lucidity to be from her pen. Nah. This has all the marks of Becks or Nanc.

And it will solicit just exactly what Sarah requires - attention. Because for Sarah Palin, there can never be too much attention.

"Yes, one thing we can all count on in this life is that when it comes to Obama, the GOP will kneejerk and take exactly the opposite position, even if it means directly contradicting their own prior views.
Even if he had attended, conservatives would’ve hurled their feces at Obama about his choice of suit, or for chewing gum, or for not sporting a “Je Suis Charlie” pin, or, I don’t know, for refusing to wear a beret while riding a bicycle with a handlebar basket full of baguettes. Again, whatever he does, they demand the opposite. Always."

There he goes again, that darn Barack Hussein Obama! How dare he make deals with that big bad Cuba and expect any sort of results? I mean, seriously?

Exclusive: Cuba has freed all 53 prisoners as agreed in U.S. deal - U.S. officials

Cuba has released all 53 prisoners it had promised to free, senior U.S. officials said, a major step toward détente with Washington.

The release of the remaining prisoners sets a positive tone for historic talks next week aimed at normalizing relations after decades of hostility, the officials said.

They described the Cuban government’s release over the weekend of the last detainees on the list as a milestone but said they would keep pressing Havana to free more people the United States considers political prisoners.

The officials, speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity, did not say how many prisoners were released over the weekend or identify them. But the White House will provide the names of all 53 to Congress and expects lawmakers to make them public, the officials added.

There had been questions over whether Havana would release all 53 prisoners as part of the deal Presidents Barack Obama and Raul Castro announced on Dec. 17 to restore diplomatic ties that Washington severed more than 50 years ago.

The White House didn't "err" in not sending a higher-level official to the anti-terrorism march in France. The French weren't offended, so right-wingers and their media enablers are full of shit. The Obama administration made the right decision not to send a high-ranking official to participate in a photo-op on an isolated street.

If President Obama had attended that photo-op, right-wingers, and the media would be bitching that he wasted tax-payer money to fly to France just so he could participate in a photo-op on an isolated street!

This is just another attempt by the republicans, and the media to paint President Obama as an arrogant, uppity, n*****. And, Palin is just jumping on the band-wagon, as usual. But, nobody will remember this non-scandal in a week.

And, you bring a link from Townhall? Seriously? Fuck off.

This will certainly get ol' Sarah's knickers in a twist, but it's absolutely true and we've all been saying so for years:

History Will Be Very Kind (to PBO)

...The lived reality of Obama’s presidency has unfolded as almost the precise opposite of this trope. He has amassed a record of policy accomplishment far deeper than even many of his supporters give him credit for. He has also survived a dismal, and frequently terrifying, 72 months when at every moment, to go by the day-to-day media, a crisis has threatened to rock his presidency to its core. The episodes have been all-consuming: the BP oil spill, swine flu, the Christmas underwear bomber, the IRS scandal, the healthcare.org launch, the border crisis, Benghazi. Depending on how you count, upwards of 19 events have been described as “Obama’s Katrina.”

...It is already clear that, whatever the source of the current disappointment with Obama, the explanation cannot be that he failed to achieve his stated goals. In his first inaugural address, Obama outlined a sweeping domestic agenda. The list of promises was specific: not only to rescue the economy from catastrophe but also to undertake sweeping long-term reforms in health care, education, energy, and financial regulation.

Republican critics are trying to have it both way with their criticism of the president for not attending the Paris. The same members of Congress and media figures who are criticizing the president today have criticized Obama in the past for what they considered the high cost for his travel and security. The White House reaction to the criticism has been honest and fair. The administration should have sent a senior official. A presidential security plan for an outdoor international event would have been virtually impossible to put together in 36 hours.

The safety of the president especially when attending an anti-terrorism rally must come first. That being said the Paris event seems like something that Vice President would have been a perfect fit to attend. The administration did make a mistake by not at least sending Attorney General Holder, who was already in Paris, to the rally. As symbolic as the rally was, only 40 world leaders attended. The criticism that the president betrayed France that is being tossed around by Republicans is empty partisan rhetoric.

Most Americans would rather keep their president safe than jeopardize his safety by having him attend an event without adequate security preparation.

Whatever, we've shown our strength and solidarity by ruthlessly pursuing and killing terrorists all over this damn world, we've tortured them, we've locked them up for life and we've assassinated them. I think that's a little more important than holding hands with a few world leaders for a photo op.

Plus, the large majority of these leaders came on short notice from areas much closer to France than is the US. Notice that all, except for the US and Canada, were from Eurasia or Africa, nearly no one not on the same, or adjacent continents attended.

America will keep kicking ass and taking names, while others take photos of themselves holding hands. It takes more than 36 hours to even begin to organize a Presidential junket, even within the US. Overblown expectations and a bunch of outrage over nothing. Canada only sent their Public Safety Minister, why is no one harping on that?

No doubt the U.S. presence there would put more people at risk from these terrorists and maybe it was France's request that the President nor VP be there, for their safety, and not to provoke more bad sentiment.

Nothing is more disgusting than reading a rant from a woman who wears frumpy wigs and licks her lips and wears hooker clothes and shoes and thinks she's the 'voice' of America speaking to the people of France, and reassuring them that she is the mediator between French and European officials and the United States of America.

She can't even control her own kids and she thinks the French are relieved that she says she has their back?

Did I miss the part where Sarah offered her prayers and sympathy for those who died, their friends and family, and for those who were injured? Did I miss the part where Sarah talked about the importance of the free press. (She always does go on about loving the freedoms that Track fought so bravely to defend). The shootings took place days ago. Where was Sarah's outrage about the Islamic Fundamentalists then? And exactly, which of the 100 different Muslim groups is she talking about?

You know what i am tired of is that republicans love to bash yet do nothing to help with making America better. Step up and do something more than run your mouth or be quiet. The main reason we have had issues is due to republicans focusing on blocking everything Obama does instead of joining forces to improve anything. People love to bash bash bash and be wicked. Despite the evil that are republicans he has made some improvements that pubs have tried to take credit for. which is weird the improvements their taking credit for they fought against. They fought against raising minimum wage. Complain about 8k for new house users yet they were first in line to use it. Let see people around the world rather deal with Obama. When Bush was president he cost people their jobs in other countries. No one wanted to deal with America when he was in office cause he was a joke. I know someone who still blamed Clinton for finance destruction though pubs held presidency, congress and senate for 6 years. Things continued to get worse and worse.

Sarah is just pissed off that she didn't get invited to Bill Kristol's shindig so she just has to 'kick the dog', so to speak.

She is being more and more marginalized and it's driving her crazy. She tried everything, plastic surgery, pumped up titties, fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake bios, kids for props, dogs for props, scolding, whining, pissing and moaning and STILL she is just dead wood in the eyes of the country and the world.

She is the butt of the joke and never fails to show herself to be a stupid, ignorant, racist, bigotted asshole, who has failed as a mother and a politician.

She can't talk well, write well or behave well. She's a damaged, has been who never really was.

She's scrambling to reassert herself, but it's failing badly. Her reality tv crap is not even in the top 100 shows, her video blog aka 'channel' is a bust, her lame attempt to recover after DOGhazi has everyone smirking and laughing outright at her.

She has done all of this to herself with her self inflicted whoring, her out of control, violent, illiterate family of losers and her sad, sad Blood Libel defense that will forever be a stain on her.

There aren't too many people in the public eye who have failed so miserably and so absolutely as Sarah Heath Palin.

This fake doesn't even know what "Je suis Charlie" means. She has no clue.

Sarah Palin would be the first french citizen to complain if those Hebdo artists and cartoonists satired Christians. She'd be trying to get them fired, attacking them daily and mocking them on Fox.

But, they satired the radical terrorists. They took their chances and expressed their freedoms of speach. They didn't hide behind FB like Sarah does. They took the fall and showed the world what religious fanatics can be capable of. But, if they had lived in the U.S. and used the fanatic religious right-wing in their works, satirizing them, she'd be blasting them, like her friend Todd Starnes does. He has declared war on atheists and those who don't celebrate Christmas. I think the french cartoonists would have brought many hypocritical groups to task in their drawings. They would have brought many of Sarah Palin's hypocricies to task, I am sure. She would have been a target of theirs. She has no self-awareness. She just jumps on whichever bandwagon is the most popular of the day. She hasn't a clue as to what France has endured and how tolerant they've been, opening their immigration doors to many muslims, who are appreciative. The fanatics who slip through, unfortunately, give all Muslims the bad name. There is no way that Sarah and her ilk would sit back and say nothing if masses of Muslim refugees needed the U.S. assistance in allowing them in the country en masse.

She is NOT Charlie. Sarah est un hypocrite.

One reason that he could not go at the last minute is SECURITY. It takes days, sometimes weeks of planning to check out every possible sniper position, places where bombs could be stashed (waste cans, the subway, pipes under the street, buildings). ‘Obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies,’
    -SARAH EVIL ONE PALIN

"The fact that she bungled her geography not once but twice seemed to suggest it was more than just a slip of the tongue. "

In her latest verbal gaffe, the former governor of Alaska mixed up an American ally with one of its most aggressive adversaries.

She was ridiculed in the U.S. for twice confusing North and South Korea in a radio interview at a time of escalating conflict between the two East Asian countries.

‘Obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies,’ she said, mistakenly referring to the rogue communist regime that has been one of America’s biggest foes in recent years.

Her mistake came after North Korea launched an unprovoked shelling attack on a South Korean island this week, killing four people, and the U.S. sent an aircraft carrier to help the South.

The fact that she bungled her geography not once but twice seemed to suggest it was more than just a slip of the tongue.

The Evil One once stated during the 2008 campaign that she did not want to go back to Alaska.

Evil One you are now in Alaska, is that why you are so bitter? President Obama's win sent you back to the state where you sit and live in your bitterness.

While I agree with your indictment of Palin for her seditious and nasty diatribe against President Obama, and her misconception of history, dissing France in this regard is short sighted at the very least.

As you remember, it was the Neocons, the Teaparty clones, Bush flunkies, and Cheney acolytes who so loudly condemned the French government for NOT sending troops to invade or Iraq.

The cretinous xenophobes in Congress and the press immediately insisted that we now had to buy "freedom fries", and 100% of right wing lunatic radio was all over the French for not "supportin' Murica" during our invasion of Iraq.

And NOW Ms $tupid $arah cares? All she is doing is pretending to be all "solidarity" with France, while the truth is she could not care less, and doesn't give a shit about the French people.

You are wrong if you think USA troops are "protecting their liberties"
      Or ours, for that matter.

The presence of infidels (that's you and me, and all non Islamic folks) in the Mideast is a big offense to some, and a slap in the face to their religion

Ron Paul tried to point this out during the 2012 debates, but of course no one else wants to hear any reasons why the Muslim extremists are attacking us.
History, facts, solid evidence don't matter much to most sheeple in the USA

Our presence there in the Mideast countries, along with the drone strikes, invasions, propping up murderous dictators like The Shah of Iran, border redrawing, and the millions killed in the last 100 years by Nato members have rendered many Islamic people immune to all pleas of reason or sanity

Finally, please consider just what a TITANIC dichotomy there is between us rill 'ceptional Jesus lovin' gun totin' Muricans who wave the flag, and the Islamic terrorists who remember every bit of the last 3 centuries of oppression, war, and death.

Netanyahu was just selling more real estate.

"Before departing for Paris, Netanyahu issued a statement to reporters saying that Israel was preparing for new Jewish immigrants from Europe in the wake of last week’s massacre at the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and a hostage crisis in a kosher delicatessen.

“All Jews who want to immigrate to Israel will be welcomed here warmly and with open arms,” he said.

“We will help you in your absorption here in our country, which is also your country.” He echoed the comments at the Grand Synagogue in Paris following Sunday’s march. Media outlets pointed out that Hollande made an exit just as Netanyahu took to the podium."
