I really like the use of video segments to provide examples to the audience of some of the things that the President is talking about.
The President addresses climate change, ISIS, Republican gridlock, and marijuana legalization.
I especially liked how he claimed the rise of ISIS directly on the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq. That is a point that needs to be made over and over.

It's so unfortunate that republicans, for whatever reason, have spent their time and our tax dollars on trying to bring this thoughtful and brilliant President down.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my thinking is "right", but if President Obama was white, and pushing forward the things that he has - the right wing, teapublicans, money changers, Koch brothers, greed, corruption, religious fundamentalist groups, would still be fighting to stop any progress. (And they say "Country First"- hypocrites!)
DeleteI find that we are very lucky to have the wisdom and leadership in President Obama. I am so grateful that the country elected him. I can't believe that John McCain was one of the 47 letter signers. We would certainly be at war now, if McCain had become president... nevermind, you know who and her family being in the WH... but having her as running mate may have brilliant at first, she is the one who helped McCain lose the election - thank goodness to Gryphen and other Alaska bloggers, who worked hard to tell the real story in those days.
don't forget that those Bush boys and company FUND them too!
ReplyDeletexpecially tricky dick cheney...and most of alaska's politicians...
Kause ya know since ya Kan fund money overseas thru alasKa
Excellent interview with our President. He is spot on with his tactics and forthright truths regarding his authority. President Obama must uphold the law on Cannabis, but fails at supporting responsible adult personal use legalization. Freedom, liberty and justice for all should include this change.

Spot on. Love this man.
DeleteJust a note, here: the TV host who lost his job by making it sound as if Michelle Obama looks like a character from the "Apes" movies, is being defended heavily on Facebook websites.
ReplyDeleteThe difference of saying something HERE, and on Facebook, is that your "icon" shows next to your comment.
While many get around exposing their face by putting up a photo of their dog, most forget about it.
So, I scrolled down a long list of just awful comments such as, "That's a put down to apes!"--only to see a gallery of the UGLIEST people I've ever SEEN!
I'm talkin' ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE type ugly.
The smartest man in the room. Always.
ReplyDelete@12:18 -- When you're ugly on the inside, it doesn't take very long before that ugliness begins to show on the outside....

ReplyDeleteMitt Romney said that he would pass on running in 2016 because, while he thought he could win, he'd be too battered by the process. So instead, he'll box Evander Holyfield.
