"Stop Chris Christie" PAC closes up shop because...you know...why bother?

Courtesy of MSNBC:

Former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado is all but throwing in the towel on the political action committee he created to stop New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s potential run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 — but only because he believes the governor has no chance of winning.

Citing Christie’s sagging poll numbers and what he described as the governor’s “questionable” behavior, Tancredo told msnbc, “We have not really tried to raise any money because frankly we assumed it would probably not be worth the time we put into it because now nobody believes the guy has a chance. ” He added, “I don’t think anyone’s going to give money to stop Chris Christie — someone who they believe is probably stopped already.”

Well you can't disagree with Tancredo's logic. After all he's right, Christie has about as muhc chance of winning the nomination as he does of ever seeing his own feet again.

However I would like to extrapolate this conclusion out to include many of the GOP presidential wannabes.

I mean does ANYBODY really think we are going to see a Lindsey Graham at the top of the ticket?

Or a Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, or Donald Trump either?

No, if the Republican party really wants to demonstrate how serious they are about this election, they should all, as one, turn and ignore the clown car and give their support to the ultimate victor.

Hillary Clinton.

See what I did there?

Christie has no chance of getting anywhere near the White House. Zip! He can have as many lap band surgeries as he wants, it won't change his being a disgusting POS!

The only sane candidate the republicans have is Huntsman. I doubt he will run again after he dropping out the last time disgusted that he wasn't crazy enough for the party.

Agree re Huntsman. I never got upset when I listened to Huntsman. In fact, I kinda hoped he would switch parties become a conservative Democrat.

I just feel badly that the poor guy went to all that trouble to lose that extra 8 pounds of belly fat and now it ;looks like that effort was for nothing. I bet he eats a couple large pizzas tonight to celebrate now that the pressure to look "Kennedyesquw" is over.

Yeah, he did try to lose some fat, but he should have tried to lose his disgusting past history of being a Repub tool cause that is what is going to cost him the most!

"Christie has about as muhc chance of winning the nomination as he does of ever seeing his own feet again."

It's a funny line, but totally inaccurate.
He's lost a shitload of weight after his surgery (maybe 100 pounds?) and he's continuing to drop the flab.

OK, his candidacy is going nowhere, but the side effect is that he's probably adding a decade or two to his evil life.

My wife reminds me to "act like Obama" when I have to go deal with other people.

She means, don't stoop to the level of the jerkoffs who are hoping to see even a hint of anger or uncool behavior.

And, while I know that is one of Obama's greatest attributes, I am hoping that what I see as overly polite actions when dealing with Republicans who have quite obviously vowed to do anything to make him look bad...

...is NOT continued by President H. Clinton. I want to see her bitchslap John Boehner and tell him to grow up and stop crying like a baby.

And call out Mitch McConnell, publicly ridiculing his traitor like deeds.

I believe she knows better than anyone BUT Obama how to deal with the leaders of other countries, and avoid any more wars.

But that doesn't mean she has to take the shit Obama has, from the rotten bastards who tried to destroy America, simply to make Obama look bad.

With friends like these... Yikes. Her model for when she was Sec of State is one of the most corrupt, murderous thugs we've ever had? This guy ordered more coups, worked to sabotage the Vietnam talks of Johnson, is famous for rigging elections and has a horrible record of cover ups, and she thinks he's the bees knees? Wow.

I'm taking a very serious look at O'Malley, he's much more aligned with the left than Hillary is. Hillary is more and more turning into her nasty campaigning self and is taking every chance to bash President Obama which makes me sour on her. There is no need for that. President Obama gave her the hugest career opportunity of her life. He has always been kind and supportive of her. It is unacceptable the way she is speaking about him and his foreign policy. It's small and flatly disrespectful.

Of course if the ONLY choice is Hillary vs a right wing republican, then Hil is the choice, but I like more and more of what O'Malley is showcasing. I always like Hillary when she isn't campaigning, but when she campaigns she morphs into a very undesirable person. Her behavior is nasty and disloyal. And the close relationships she has with too many republicans (Gingrich, Kissinger, Bush, McCain) is alarming. She appears to be more and more republican lite and doesn't hesitate to bash the left. Not a good sign. At all.

Can this Democrat really beat Hillary Clinton?
