Conservative mayoral candidate Amy Demboski inspires Facebook page. Against her.

Amy Demboski
Here is the page entitled "Young People Against Demboski." And they are more than just a little fired up.

They also posted that Demobski is now getting help from the same folks who helped Dan Sullivan get elected:

Major conservative political groups are stepping into the Anchorage mayor’s race. The May runoff between Amy Demboski and Ethan Berkowitz is drawing increasing attention from state and national organizations hoping to influence local politics.

Americans For Prosperity is a political group based in Virginia, backed by the Koch brothers, that advocates for conservative causes. They don’t endorse candidates, but will be seeking to inform Anchorage voters about their two choices for mayor.

“We’ve identified Ethan’s record as one that’s troubling, and we think will be devastating to the residents of Anchorage,” said Jeremy Price, spokesman for the Alaska chapter of AFP.

These folks spent millions to get Sullivan elected, and if they want Demboski bad enough they can make this a very tough fight for Ethan Berkowtiz despite his impressive poll numbers.

So yes as that graphic above says, WE need to make damn sure that we vote on may 5th.

Another note to this - Amy doesn't physically appear as though she has hiked a day in her life! I'll even suggest she's not experienced the joy of it! Hence, her lack of support!

    Vote Ethan Berkowitz!

Why does Dumboski want those areas closed?

They can spend all the money in the world (coming from outside of Alaska!) they want (Republicans!), but it is the vote that counts.

Talk up Ethan Bekowitz to your family members and friends and make sure you drive the ones that might require it - to the polls to cast their votes!

Anchorage voters can get Ethan Berkowitz elected! Alaska and Anchorage need to change from red to blue! Can hardly wait to see it done!

If, by chance, you don't vote because you had something more pressing to do, then don't complain afterward while assuming the position. I'm sick of Democrats expecting a win and not bothering to vote.

Her voice, the obnoxious random breaking into falsetto and back to normal, is enough of a reason to vote against her and save all the City Hall employees from ear-bleeding!

  7. All the photos I take are Creative Commons licensed. I want people to use them if it helps their story. But that license asks for one simple requirement: attribution. Curious as to why my photo in the above article was uncredited. Seems like a base level courtesy for the content you're using. So, why was it not extended?

John Aronno: I agree.. lack of attribution... a big no no. And you are most gracious in your bringing it to their attention. Good photo, too.
