Well now you've done it Texas! You've become so crazy that even Rick Perry cannot support your lunacy anymore!

Courtesy of The Dallas Morning News:

Former Gov. Rick Perry suggested Tuesday that successor Greg Abbott went too far last week in raising questions about U.S. military exercises in Texas.

“It’s OK to question your government. I do it on a regular basis. But the military is something else,” said Perry, an Air Force veteran, as he prepared to speak to the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. “Our military is quite trustworthy. The civilian leadership, you can always question that, but not the men and women in uniform.”

Wow! And here I thought that making it so that Wal-Mart had to explain that they were not digging tunnels under their stores to help Obama invade Texas, was the most embarrassing thing that could happen to Texas and its new governor.

But having Rick Perry, a man who seemed to never hear a conspiracy theory that he didn't agree with, come out and call you batshit crazy, well that has GOT to be a wake up call.

Of course now that Perry has insulted his base, I wonder how he expects to have a legitimate chance at the Republican presidential nomination?

After all just because you are not as crazy as the craziest people in your state, certainly does not mean you are not still too crazy for the primary voters.

Don't blame me, I voted for Wendy.
But anyone with a functioning brain knew Abbott was going to be even worse than Gov Good hair.

Too bad this Abbott is governor that makes Rick Perry look better.
There are sane people in Texas. Mayor Douglas Athas of Garland is doing what he can. Of course he will be attacked.

May 6th, 2015. The shooting at a “Draw Muhammad” cartoon contest in Garland, Texas this week has reignited a national debate about free speech, with many scolding the actions of Pamela Geller and the American Freedom Defense Initiative and provoking Muslims to the point where something like the shooting would happen.

One of the people making that argument is Garland Mayor Douglas Athas, who said on Fox News today that what Geller did was “incendiary” and put law enforcement at risk just to provoke. Even some Fox News anchors have expressed similar views.

Well, Geller responded in a piece for Time magazine today, declaring that she refuses to kowtow to the whims of radical jihadists. On the question of blame, she asks, “Are the Jews responsible for the Nazis? Are the Christians in the Middle East responsible for being persecuted by Muslims?”

Geller says the shooting proves everything she’s been saying about radical Islam and that “allowing this sort of censorship would mean nothing less civilizational suicide.”

Geller also responded in an interview with the BBC, specifically scolding Mayor Athas:

  7. If the military is so trustworthy, why are all the bat shit crazies arming themselves to protect themselves from....the military?

Or are they afraid of the police and feel the military won't adequately defend them from the police?

Or....I don't know. Who can understand what sets the crazies off?

We all know no matter how many guns and how much ammo, the U.S. military will win against the NRA. Just more profits for the gun and ammo manufacturers.

And Cemeteries, Funerals Homes and coffins. Little tiny coffins.

  8. Personally, I see nothing at all sane in Perry's blind faith in the military. Nothing here I would compliment or agree with.

The US military knowingly exposed Utahns to radiation during the open air atomic blasts, waiting until the wind was blowing their way, among many other injuries inflicted upon American citizens by the military.

Perry's statement does prove that rightwingers are all in favor of big spending and Big Government and socialism, as long as it wears a military uniform.

We Petition the Obama Administration To move all military bases and personnel from the State of Texas.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott's actions have potentially placed our military personnel and their families in danger.

The actions of Texas governor Greg Abbott demonstrates that that state does not deserve to continue reap the economic benefits of our military bases in that state.

Yeah and Texas would like to keep those bases, right? Or does this mean the Pentagon should consider relocating them. By my reckoning there are about six big ones. Surely Alaska, Indiana, Michigan, New York, might like a boost to their economies.

Speaking of idiots. Dr A Blow, on fox news, thinks it's ok for men to veto women's decisions to have abortion.
