Breitbart took that article accusing Sarah Palin of damaging the Republican party, twisted it into her damaging the "Left's agenda, and now Palin has happily taken credit for it.

So yesterday we all spent quite a lot of time discussing that Washington Post article about how Sarah Palin was instrumental in creating the lunacy that we see in today's Republican party.

There were a lot of articles written in response to that post, both in agreement and some not in agreement, however leave it to Breitbart to twist the whole narrative to fit the world as they want it to be:

The timing of the attack might seem odd. Palin is not running for office, nor does she hold office. The news “hook” is a comment by Republican frontrunner Donald Trump to the effect that Palin is “a special person” that he might appoint to his Cabinet.

Actually, Trump could do far worse. Palin has a strong grasp of the delicate balance between fossil fuel development and environmental stewardship. She would be a good choice for Secretary of the Interior.

But Daley is not really concerned about the next Republican administration. His aim is to attack the Republican grassroots as a way of knocking Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, and others.

At a time when Democrats are seriously debating whether socialism or capitalism is a better economic system, and Hillary Clinton is kowtowing to the left on every issue from the Keystone pipeline to free trade, Bill Daley claims the conservative base is out of touch with reality.

To borrow a well-worn, but appropriate cliché: Daley is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts.

Speaking of their "own facts" the article then goes on to claim that Palin was a natural choice for John McCain to choose and that she had the potential to attract the women voters supposedly disenfranchised by Obama, completely disregarding the fact that she failed to do so.

Breitbart also credits Palin with helping to elect  "dozens of successful candidates" that they claim damaged Obama's agenda.

Is THAT what happened?

So all day yesterday I kept checking to see just when Palin would respond to the Washington Post piece, assuming that it would be a potpourri of venomous word salad, but it was nothing but crickets over on her last remaining media platform.

But then late last night Palin finally spoke up. Only she completely ignored the actual article, and instead accepted the twisted logic of the Breitbart piece.

This was her response:

The Left's failed agenda is my fault? Well maybe that's a fine birthday gift for Mom today! Happy birthday, Mom! (Yesterday was also Sally Heath's birthday.)

So apparently that was Palin's only response to an article, about an article, that received quite a lot of media attention yesterday, and started a rather interesting debate on just when the Republican party started to derail.

Well that was.....anti-climatic.

Apparently her favorite ghostwriter is too busy over on the blog her daughter never reads padding the Trig mythology to bother writing up anything to support her employer on Facebook.

Oh well, I guess when you only have so much money to work with.......

Sarah lives in some parallel universe where up is down and salt is pepper. She's her own unreality show, and as such, she's still very entertaining, in a comedic sort of way; if you know what I mean.

Yes, watching her is like watching a train wreck trash reality TV show. It's hard to stop, until I know how it ends.

She's been so quiet since Bristol's pregnancy announcement, I really do think it might be a bi-racial baby and she just doesn't know what to do. If so, it will obviously not be Dakota's, which will blow the whole "planning a family and got ahead of myself" BS.

Or, it could be she's in rehab or any number of other things that have thrown her off her game and into hiding.

We don't know....so stay tuned! LOL

    3. The House and Senate have had their share of loons for years and I'm sure that there have been some vice-presidential candidates throughout history that were less than brilliant (Dan Quayle WAS vice-president!) But when the Republicans nominated McCain and Palin they, unwittingly or not, chose the most ignorant, gullible, pedestrian, inarticulate and incurious person to be their VP candidate. They chose that bombastic bimbo and when the election was over they still refused to admit that the country dodged a lethal bullet. This country took a hard right turn back in the eighties with Reagan and the moral majority and now we've sunk so low that we quite possibly could have had a VP that is less intelligent than that gorilla that uses sign language.

Yeah, I think this writer has a much better handle on things...

...It is true that the GOP began its blatant uber-right wing extremist lurch after the 2008 general election, but like any movement it was a concerted effort and nothing whatsoever to do with Sarah Palin. For one thing, Palin as vice-presidential candidate was not involved in, or invited to, the secret Inauguration night meeting of leading Republicans plotting to obstruct any and every attempt by then-incoming President Barack Obama to rescue the economy; or anything else for that matter.

Palin’s candidacy also had nothing to do with secret Koch brother meetings to funnel money and organizational activists into the so-called Tea Party movement to oppose and protest any and every last thing remotely connected to President Barack Obama. In fact, while angry white people with guns and bibles were screaming for tax cuts because they were “taxed enough already,” they were receiving a substantial tax cut courtesy of President Barack Obama’s stimulus; the one Republicans and Tea Party extremists opposed vehemently. Palin may have embraced the Tea Party like many Republicans, but the Koch brothers created it and continue sustaining its candidates and many members serving in Congress.

Although Palin is associated with the religious right fanatics embracing a truly bastardized version of neo-American Christianity, McCain choosing her as running mate did not inspire the rise of evangelical crazy among Republicans. It was there long before the nation heard of Sarah Palin and fundamentalists simply shifted their tried-and-true virulent propaganda focus on Barack Obama. They warned, and are still warning, that Obama was going to come after Christians and their bibles; even though one of his first and most ridiculous, acts was continuing Bush’s free taxpayer money to churches with “faith-based initiatives.”

...The danger of citing one person as the reason for any movement is that all of the underlying reasons are easily ignored, or in Americans’ cases, likely forgotten. What Mr. Daly was remiss to mention is the apathy among Democrats who bear a part of the responsibility for the rise of the incompetence, inexperience, and mean-spiritedness as a virtue that holds majorities in both houses of Congress. Of course Democrats do not embrace those Republican qualities, but because they sat home and allowed the Palin-types in America elect Republicans relatively uncontested, they bear some blame. There is plenty of blame to go around for the dysfunction in American politics, and of course one would like to blame it all on Palin, but no incompetent quitter and inexperienced dolt could even imagine creating today’s Republican Party; it has been a thirty year effort.

"On the 80th parallel on an island called Alexandra Land which is located between the Barents and Kara seas, Russia has built a gigantic base they’re calling the “Arctic Trefoil.” With 14,000 square meters of space it can house up to 150 soldiers for up to 18 months. That’s …large."
your local walmart store ranges in size from 4000 to 20,800 square meters with the average being just shy of 9,500 square meters. are we really supposed to panic because of an 14,000 square meter facility holding 150 soldiers on an Russian island that is nowhere close to Alaska?

They're too scared of sarah & toad to say anything. We've been preached to about that fact for quite some time now. They have a wealth of information but those palins would put cross hairs on them and their families if they dared to speak up.
      What a crock of shit.

    Bless her heart.

You can say anything mean at all, as long as you use this phrase right after it.

Ex: Sarah is one heck of a narcissistic bitch. Bless her heart.

America we at Immoral Minority tried to warn you, but did you listen?

    SALON:
.... ‘Republicans are on the verge of ceasing to function as a national party,’ it’s time to ask: How did this come to pass?” he opens. How did we get to the side-to-side clown shows of the GOP presidential contest, and the total breakdown of a functioning party in Congress?

The turning point came in 2008, when the party put then Alaska-Governor Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency, despite her utter lack of competency....

...It's possible that Daley doesn't believe what he's writing. It could be that he's just baiting Palin, in the hope that she'll resurface -- she's been lying fairly low these days -- and make the GOP seem even crazier than it already does. I hope that's what he's trying to do, and I hope it works. She's an embarrassment, and Republicans deserve all the harm she does to their reputation. But she didn't turn them into the crazy party. They were heading in the direction for a long while.

As if we didn't need any more proof that Nancy French is running BOTH Sarah's Facebook page and Bristol's...

Has anyone else noticed that there tends to be almost complete silence during the weekends (unless something major happens), and then on Monday, suddenly there is in explosion of posts? Makes me think Nancy is off duty on weekends, and has to make up time when she returns to "work" on Monday. Could they make it any more transparent that they are not the ones handling their social media pages?

Per her Facebook, I can see Sarah has another gig after the debates. What a bunch of idiots she will be with. I think you have to have special channels to see it. Is she being paid and doing it out of her home? You can see no candidate wants to hear from her or any media either.

Go to Newmax's facebook page Sarah is getting clobbered!

And the moderator at the sea of pee mentioned Barstools new photo taken in a tropical place, Newsmax is in Palm Beach so guess who traveled there with her Mama Grizzle. I am glad Levi and Sunny can take Tripp while Barstool gets in her last mini vacations before her newest money maker is born, it must be nice to have an employer like Barstool's who let's you leave work anytime you want to and for however long you want to! Barstool's "job" must really be important.

Sarah is too quite concerning her new granddaughter.Things will change completely when the baby is born and I bet Bristol will hate it being tied down more, yes she can get nannies. If the baby is a different color, will we ever know? Will Bristol move to Arizona and raise it, can't take Tripp tho....There is some reason Sarah is so quiet, she may know something we don't. The whole family is too quiet.

  44. Well, it's BREIBART. The "Through the Looking Glass" of right wing media.

Is anyone surprised that Sarah ignored the article until Breitbart spun it in her favor? I'd like to know who on Breitbart was bribed to write it?

Even the right wants nothing to do with Sarah. They recognize her for the poisonous touchstone she is. She didn't start the hate and bigotry. But she did provide a focus, a gathering point. Her hate speeches gave these nutjobs justification for their warped and twisted delusions. She basically took all of these whackos and gathered them together in one big ball of hate. Then the Koch Brothers' astro turf Teabagger organization took over and kept them focused and used them like Round-Up™, pointing them at any green living fact until they've buried it in nonsense and drivel.
