Oath Keepers want to set up classes in high schools and colleges to teach students not to be sheep-like, to attack school shooters, and to refuse to submit to the government death camps. Wait, what?

Courtesy of Right Wing Watch:

The armed anti-government group Oath Keepers unveiled its strategy to prevent school shootings last week, announcing its intention to form college — and eventually high school — chapters, which the group will use to train students to “stop submitting and cooperating in their own murders” and resist the coming government “death camps.”

In an article on the group’s website, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and media director Jason Van Tatenhove wrote that the students killed in the recent shooting at a community college in Oregon died because they were “conditioned” to be “passive, submissive and ‘non-violent.’”

In an interview with Red List News, the two went into more detail, with Van Tatenhove warning that anti-bullying programs in schools, specifically, are “brainwashing children” into being “docile.”

“Whether it’s an active shooter that kills them, or later on a death camp somewhere down the road because they’ve been conditioned never to fight back,” he warned, “it only leads to death.”

Rhodes agreed: “The same submissive and servile, sheep-like mindset that children are being taught is exactly what they’re going to do politically, too, when it comes to their own government. They’re never going to stand up to it. So I think the conditioning is intentional to make them easily murdered by mass shooters, and I also think it’s intentional to make them servile and submissive before the powers that be who want a compliant, submissive population.”

Yes how very astute of these knuckle draggers.

Teaching children not to bully others is totally going to make it easier to round them up and bus them to government run death camps.

Curses! They saw right through the government's dastardly plan.

Personally I would not let these idiots anywhere near our schools, or our students. Anybody who believes all problems can be solved with more guns in the hands of more people, is a very poor example indeed for impressionable children.

However I will agree with them on one point, I also do not want our children brainwashed into being servile and sheep-like.

That's why I think they should be kept away from Fox News.

    1. I agree, Deni. The majority feel as we do and if school administrators ever seriously consider doing something this stupid and irresponsible then we, the majority, will speak up loudly and in unison.

They want to spend whatever it takes to create & maintain the strongest, most powerful military force the world has ever known, and at the same time they expect their personal weapons stashes to be able to defeat that military when it is turned against them. What am I missing?

I asked a supporter of secession that exact question. She told me I was a moron, because did I seriously not realize that at
least half of the military would immediately defect to their side.

I asked who was going to pay for, you know, their salaries and housing and health care and all like that. How are they going to get their presumed currency accepted by the international community??

She said, disgustedly, well, all the gold they have stockpiled in Texas, of course.

So, in answer to your question, what you are missing is the abject and profound stupidity of these people.

Oath Keepers are today's wannabe Brownshirts: The SA (Sturmabteilung aka Storm Troopers) were the early enforcers enabling the rise of Hitler's march to power. The blackshirts did the same in Italy enabling the rise of fascism in Mussolini's Italy.
The Oath Keepers and their like-minded White Power militias/adherents desperately want another civil war, preferably a race war. Check SPLCenter.org (Southern Poverty Law Center) for information of the astonishing rise of supremacist groups since POTUS election in 2008.

Wasn't it Plato who once said, children should be kept away from religion until old enough to think for themselves. So make that ANY church - or synagogue - or Mosque. Or....

  9. Doesn't the republican party want their members compliant and sheep like, to do what they are told and not to question authority, unless of course it is any decision by a Democrat?

Is not the goal of a civilized society to become less violent? It seemed like mankind was slowing evolving and America was moving forward with small steps towards civil rights and women's rights. Now it seems like we are spiraling backwards, but with greater weapons and greater violence.

  15. As much as I don't want it to happen, i think we'll eventually see one of these groups slip off the edge and get the party started. There will be plenty of bravado and guns blazing and, of course, fatalities. And then hard, cold reality will set in. At the end of the day you're not going home to your house. You won't be at church on Sunday. No job. No income. Just the grim reality that real life video game has no reset button or off switch, and that ordinary everyday folks won't be there to support you. No doubt a handful or even hundreds of well-armed crazies can make a lot of noise for a while, but retribution will come and it will not be pretty. No one will thank you, especially the loved ones you leave behind.

    1. They want to support and defend the constitution (I assume the U.S. version) against all comers. Unfortunately I don't think many of them have read more than a line or two of the document.
