Hillary Clinton's appearance before the House Benghazi committee seems to have backfired on the Republicans.

"Hey, I warned them."
Courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:

Hillary Clinton has put to rest many voters’ questions about her handling of the 2012 Benghazi attacks, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll conducted after her 11-hour appearance before a House investigative panel last month.

The number of people who are unsatisfied with her response to questions on the attacks on a U.S. diplomatic compound dropped to 38% in the poll, from 44% in a poll taken before she testified before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Oct. 22.The new poll found Republicans’ opinion remained largely unchanged, but among Democrats and swing voters, there was a significant rise in satisfaction with Mrs. Clinton’s response.

"Republicans' opinion remained largely unchanged."

Yeah, big surprise there.

However the fact that after eleven hours of unfettered badgering, ungrounded accusations, and partisan attacks designed to destroy Hillary's candidacy, she instead emerges with higher poll number than when she went in, has GOT to be making the Republicans pull their hair out by the roots.

Remember the Republicans are so terrified of this woman that they launched seven investigations, held thirteen hearings, and had fifty briefings, all at the expense of the American people.

In my eyes that is one of the biggest endorsements for why Democrats should choose her as their nominee imaginable.

I love me some Bernie, but he let's face it he simply does not keep the Republicans up at night.

  1. Hopefully liberals won't buy the inevitability of Hillary and stay home. State governorships, legislatures, and local elections are falling like flies to GOP control. Liberals need to think about what this nation looks like under control republican control. That ought to be enough to scare anyone, but liberals like to talk about freedom and fairness while doing little to ensure it. Local elections matter: school board, assembly, mayor, etc.

James O'Keefe says he has a video showing Hillary selling AK-47's, RPG's and a map of the Benghazi compound to the terrorists that attacked the Ambassador.

Rep. Gowdy says this will be a game changer.

Gowdy should be hung from the rafters! How do the taxpayers get their money back for all that has been spent in their trying to demolish Hillary? They, led by Gowdy, should be stripped of their roles in Congress and sent packing back to their home states.

Republicans are a friggin' mess! Hillary is going to win and then they really are going to be hollering!

Can hardly wait to vote for her! We'll go from the constant negative that has been thrown at President Obama on a daily basis to the same being done to President Hillary Clinton once she is elected!

    Get ready America!

Oh the Repubs are terrified of Hillary; make no doubt. They know plain and simple she's primed to be the next president and they are scared. This country is ready for a female president and there is simply no one else that is even remotely more qualified than Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Oh, but Sarah is qualified! And Sarah never watched anyone get killed in Libya (just Wasilla.) And Sarah shoots at caribou which are standing still (and wolves from airplanes.) And Sarah's kids may not have college degrees, but they live vibrant holy lives. After all, this is just the second recorded pregnancy for Bristol. She'll find a husband soon. And Sarah guarantees that Piper will graduate from high school in the next five years or so, one way or another. And Trig? Well, Sarah adores the little scamp and his guide dog named after Dr. Biden. How can anyone not love such a close, devoted family as the Palins? And look at all they have accomplished! (OK, don't look too closely, and do not compare her five children's accomplishments to the education, work history, and ethics of Chelsea. Please.) Just vote for Sarah!!

Palin can't manage a Facebook forum. She is slacking each time I check to see if she is up to date on anything. Palin is terrified of a face to face with Clinton.

What happened to Sarah (using Nancy to pose as Bristol) getting her people to join her in taking down Facebook because of the exploited children? She was upset about Planned Parenthood and Facebook being responsible for human trafficking. SHE QUIT. That is how much she is capable of and how much she cares. She quits and Facebook does better and better. They don't call her ass clown for nothing.

OT - Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Rep. Fred Upton, chairs of Senate and House energy committees, unite to raise funds from oil & gas industry and push industry-friendly legislation.

OT but did anyone watch Law and Order SVU last night? It was based on the Duggars. The mom faked a pregnancy too! Now who does that remind you of?

I only saw part of the ending. How long until they will show it again? What is the name of the episode?

There are too many of the crazy 'believer' types infecting the US. Trump is just another reality tv showman and that Ben Carson is religious kooky to the max. At a certain point they all blend together, more blob than human.

Btw, are they taking odds in Vegas on when Bristol will be birthing? If it hasn't happened. What a fantastical tale the abstinence one wants us to believe. It is actually a grave concern for our country that there are so many lunatics finding stardom and looking to be leaders of a nation. I would not want to be a child born today to many of these parents. To think of the fate of some adopted children.

Murkowski needs to be kicked out of office in Alaska. She is someone many in Alaska will go after when it is election time again. She damned near lost last go around!!

Alaska badly needs to turn BLUE again! The Republicans got them in the financial mess they are now experiencing!

Sen. Murkowski won with the help of 30,000 votes from people who vote for democratic party candidates in the last election. In AK that is not a close election. I supported the other guy and found it disapointing so many deserted the democratic party candidate.

  9. The GOP is putting on show just like they did in 2008 and 2012.

They know the Democrats can't be beat no matter who is on the ticket but especially Hillary.

So they've loaded the clown car with no one that can win. Any viable candidate for the future is held back so they won't be tainted with such a loss. Yep, they've even written off Jindal. That car is full of sacrificial goats.

The GOP (if it will still be in existence) is probably hoping to produce a strong candidate for 2020 or 2024.

They know they can't win 2016.

    It's all for show.

  10. I think there are way too many Democrats fooling themselves about Clinton. Wall Street and Bush-level Republicans love her.

What's ironic is if they had, say three "hearings" and left a lot to conjecture, the entire Benghazipalooza idea may have worked, but because it became a creature of their own creation, they handed control and sanity to Hillary Clinton. Is there any doubt whatsoever that there was no "there" there in the first place?

Can't blame the librul slanted media and its gotcha answers. In other words, they screwed too hard and the screw won't hold because it's stripped. No one puts grandma Hillary in a corner!
