America: "Oh my God there has been another terrible mass shooting!" Ammosexuals: "Whoops time to buy more guns."

Courtesy of ABC News:

The line was out the door at a San Bernardino, California, gun shop Sunday morning, just one mile down the road from the Inland Regional Center, where two armed shooters shot dozens of San Bernardino County employees.

Several shoppers spoke to ABC News on their way into Turner's Outdoorsman, including Ben Reynolds, of Runyon Springs, California, who said he was there buying his first weapon.

"It hit a little close to home," he said. "It can happen anywhere, and this just shows it."

Reynolds said he would consider buying an assault rifle.

Another man told ABC News he was thinking about buying one for "protection -- that's it." He said he was concerned about people invading his home.

Buster Mitchell, who lives 12 miles away from the Inland Regional Center, said the shooting was "too close to home." Mitchell owns seven guns and said he was at the gun shop for supplies.

This is why the NRA fucking LOVES mass shootings.

Because while most Americans are horrified by the shootings and believe that there are WAY too many guns in this country, there is a certain demographic convinced that all they need to do in order to ensure their safety is buy one more gun.

The FBI runs background checks before customers can purchase a gun, and according to a report from the FBI, the week following the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012 was the busiest week ever.

Upticks were also reported after the 2011 Tuscon shooting and the Charleston church shooting earlier this year.

We are a truly ignorant people.

That's a laugh - Bristol doesn't know anything about colleges since she quit half way through high school. Remember that time she was going to speak at a college and all the students protested the idiot's daughter lecturing them and kept her off their campus?

All the Palin offspring are a joke! They have little to no education - quit high school - GEDs vs real high school diplomas, no college education, etc. Police records, booze, drugs, Track going into the military vs prison, etc.

Their problems brought on by what? I suggest the poor parenting received by and from Todd and Sarah Palin as well as grooming from the grandparents on Sarah's side.

Have heard very nice things about Todd's mother (no clue about his father), but by all the records and discussion throughout the years, Sarah kept her kids away from Todd's mother and Dillingham family members.

We don't need to worry about any of the Palins finding work or rolls in our federal or Alaska's governments or in the communities where they live or will reside!

Their histories and bios will always precede them wherever they go!

It's going to be a hard road being a Palin for the rest of their lives. I'd suggest facial surgeries, relocation and change of names for all to live peaceful and happy lives!

  4. WE are? What's this WE sh*t??? Please do not paint all Americans with the same brush. If I remember correctly, the percentage of gun owners in this country is around 30%- 38% leaving a vast majority of us in the non-ammosexual column. In addition, of that 38% gun ownership are many who do not subscribe to the more the scarier belief.

I personally hate guns but know many gun owners. Most use them only for hunting but one or two have handguns (which they never show me -thanks guys). Do we have a gun problem - absofreakinlutely! The biggest problem is that this small segment of the population seems to have the biggest mouth (I'm looking at you Wayne LaPierre).

Like the TeaParty - these loud mouths are giving the rest of us a bad name. I love my country but recognize it's faults. The only way to change things is at the ballot box but many don't bother to vote. The ammosexuals?? THEY show up every year......sigh.....

    1. Perhaps your right to vote should be taken away if you own more than any assault weapons, or, you accidentally shoot somebody with one of your guns... You can't drive if you have DWI convictions, right?

    3. But who decides how many weapons are too many? Going after voting rights is a slippery slope. I do believe in background checks for any weapons purchase along with mandatory safety training. As with motor vehicles, if you want to operate one you need to prove that you know how to do that safely. There is no need for anyone outside of the military or law enforcement fields to possess automatic, or even semi-automatic, weapons. And gun manufacturers should go back to the drawing board and design guns with better built in safety measures so that when, not if, the gun gets into untrained hands......it will not fire (thumb print tech? more pressure needed to pull trigger?)

    4. Also, I know from experience (job) that yes, you can still drive after DWI convictions....just not legally in most cases. Doesn't stop the idiots from driving. It also takes a great many DWI convictions before your license is pulled. I know someone who spent 4 years in prison for DWI, will never legally be able to get his license back, yet still drives to a car on a daily basis. SMH

Hey Kerry @ 7:55 AM, about constitutional rights? I've made a few changes to your original post based on an older version of the Constitution. I hope you are entertained :)

"But who decides how many slaves are too many? Going after slave-owning rights is a slippery slope. I do believe in background checks for any slave owners along with mandatory slave-owning safety training. As with horses, if you want to own slaves you need to prove that you know how to do that safely. There is no need for anyone outside of the military or law enforcement fields to own slaves, or even entire families of slaves. And slave traders should go back to the drawing board and design slave auctions with better built in safety measures so that when, not if, the slave gets into untrained hands......it will not run away (thumb screws? more pressure needed to winch those bad boys down?)

The words "Obama is going to take your guns away" has manipulated sales. Calling for more gun control is used and twisted to extremes in an escalation which has increased sales. Although the Obama administration has not taken away guns nor been able to even pass more thorough back ground checks people run around repeating lies they were fed.

Don't know how many times I've said this, but our country is a fucked up mess and I blame Republicans and the NRA!

Are blood baths in our future? Can we expect to see them occur in our cities and towns across the nation?

Will neighbor start killing neighbor with the intervention of cops (acting like the military)? I know it all sounds sick, but it is more than obvious to me as to what is coming!

How can all of this be stopped? I have no clue, but truly fear for all of us.

Donald Trump needs to be coralled in some manner as he is the worst curse upon our country since the 30/40's! He has done nothing but spread racism, fear, distrust and anger which are all growing by the minute.

For verification, just watch your varied TV channels (to include cable) as they are ALL continuing the promotion of the words and evilness of Donald Trump. Their communications, as well as from newspapers across the country, are doing exactly what the Republicans and Trump want. Things are growing worse as the minutes tick tock!

And, American are buying still MORE guns with lines of folks doing so making the news channels too! Sick!

  10. Here is #3 on Gloria Steinem's list of the top 10 things she wants for Christmas (Huffington Post):

"3. I want any young men who buy a gun to be treated like young women who seek an abortion. Think about it: a mandatory 48-hours waiting period, written permission from a parent or a judge, a note from a doctor proving that he understands what he is about to do, time spent watching a video on individual and mass murders, traveling hundreds of miles at his own expense to the nearest gun shop, and walking through protestors holding photos of loved ones killed by guns, protestors who call him a murderer."

Welcome to what I call the "self-licking ice cream cone". An NRA & gun manufacturer treat they very neatly organized for themselves at the expense of the lives of American men, women, & children. Babies too. Very clever marketing campaigns these last 3 decades. Fear, fear, fear or making tough guy wannabe dreams come true. Think "Rambo" in 1982. American males have eaten it up. Gun manufacturers have always known full well at a certain point after "X" amount of gun sales saturation/carnage there'd be no stuffing the cat back into the bag--the NRA has been their lockstep partner in making sure no legislation reins the carnage in. Foreign terrorist thugs are just bonus sales to them. To be followed up by starting rumors about 'having guns taken away'.

I'd like one of these gun-worshiping lunatics to explain something to me.

A 'responsible' gun owner (like several members of my extended family) keeps their weapons unloaded and safely secured to prevent unauthorized or accidental access by children or untrained adults.

Unless they require a weapon for their job (military, law enforcement, etc), a 'responsible' gun owner does not carry a loaded weapon into public places where they could accidentally be dropped, stolen or discharged.

If you are a responsible gun owner who maintains his/her weapon in a safe manner and in a secure place, how exactly are they supposed to protect you in an emergency? And do they realize the odds of injury or death from an accidental discharge or mishandling of a gun are exponentially greater than the odds of being injured or killed in a terrorist attack?

'Responsible' gun owners have every right to carry around a loaded firearm if their local laws permit. Who gave you the authority to deem what responsible gun owners do or do not do?

"It can happen anywhere". No shit? It DOES happen "anywhere", on a daily basis. Are people really unaware of how many shootings take place every day, or does it have to be done by a Muslim to catch their eye? Of all the killings in this country, almost NONE are done by Muslims. Has there been an outcry aimed at the Southern white male dopey racist community? Has the media trampled all over the homes of all the aforementioned murderers, and have their relatives been demonized for...being their relatives? The Muslims who were born here, and have to go about their daily lives while seeing on the news that a good portion of the country wants to either kill, or "round up" or deport them must be terrified. I wish there was a way to show my support for them. The Donald, his supporters, and a huge portion of the Republican party are off their rockers.
