The shooting spree began at around 6 p.m., when a woman at a Kalamazoo County apartment complex was shot several times, Kalamazoo Country Prosecutor Jeff Getting said. She was in serious condition but expected to survive, he said.
Police were then called to a car dealership about 10 p.m. where two men, one of them an 18-year-old, were fatally shot, Getting said.
About 10 minutes later, a third shooting took place in the parking lot of a nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant where four women were fatally shot, and the 14-year-old girl was seriously injured, Getting said.
In that shooting, the suspect got out of his car and started a brief conversation with people in two other cars, Matyas said. After a few seconds of talking, the gunman "unloaded his weapon into both cars," Matyas said.
Dalton was taken into custody at around 12:40 a.m. after being stopped, police said. Getting said a semi-automatic handgun was seized in the arrest.
Investigators are saying that the shooting spree was premeditated, but that the victims were random.
The guy just wanted to go kill some people with a gun, and fortunately he lives in the country that makes that easy for him.

Of course this will not get much attention, because apparently this guy is not a Muslim with ties to ISIS.

The Kalamazoo law enforcement are held to standards to ensure a suspect's civil rights. This is after a lawsuit. Everyone living there knows this as it and the training were heavily covered by the media. You can search very easily. The shooter knew full well he would have his rights respected.

According to the local news in metro Detroit, he was also an Uber driver.
DeleteHe had a passenger in his car/truck right before the shooting spree, the passenger said he received a phone call during the ride, then began to drive like a crazy person. the passenger was able to get out of the car ok.
Uber did a background check on him and didn't find anything, they are now working with the police.
His neighbors said he was a great guy, yeah right.

I guess in your fictional world this can happen? He hasn't even conceded that he is the dad yet. I will wait until he gets his court ordered paternity, and if he goes with the one they got, then he still can work it out that he gets the kid for at least half of its life, shared custody, or not, and maybe he pays a little, maybe he pays a lot, maybe he gets to see it, maybe not, until his lawyer makes a statement I have no opinion on his legal stance.
