Super Tuesday's biggest loser.

Some people think that the big loser yesterday was Ben Carson who failed to win or come in second even once.

Or Bernie Sanders, whose path to victory seems virtually impossible right now.

But I think the biggest loser was this poor sap who had to stand behind Donald Trump for over thirty minutes while he droned on and on about how awesome he was and what a great victory he was enjoying.

At times iy literally looked as if Christie was contemplating suicide.

And at other times he looked as if he could not figure out WTF Trump was even talking about.

I watched the entire speech last night with my daughter, and I kept jumping back and forth between irritation at Trump's arrogance, dismay that he was still leading among the Republican candidates, and laughing out loud at Christie's predicament.

But hey at least Trump allowed Christie to stay on stage with him this time.

Though judging from Christie's face I don't think he saw that as a perk.

Off topic. Did you see Nancy French Twitter. She wrote an article on why NOT to vote Trump

It must be weird to not support Trump and yet have to write articles for $arah about how great he is.

  2. Factor in too, that within 24 hours of this bizarre scene, six New Jersey newspapers banned together calling on Christie to resign. I'm not sure how many Christie kids are old enough to live on their own, but I wouldn't want to reside with Dad in the same house this week.

Even one of his inner circle in Jersey said he should resign. There's a gif of the looks on his face that's priceless. They're both cut from the same cloth, so if this keeps up, one of them will wake up with a horse's head in his bed.

I think Christie dropped out, endorsed Drumpf and is behaving like a lapdog because in return he is going to be Donald's running mate. I think the deal has already been struck. I can't think of any other reason Christie would behave as he has.

Christie is desperate for a presidential pardon is the way I see it. Fat chance now unless Trump wins.

Most people who introduce the main attraction defer to them by leaving the stage when the speaker takes the podium. I really don't think Trump planned for Christie to stand behind him while he gave his speech.

Here's to hoping the Christie and the Palin families engage in a drunken brawl at some point during this campaign.

As a Bernie supporter, I'm sad. But I'm happy that he made it this far and was able to spread his message. Seems that he's going to keep going for awhile longer, which I think is great. More people will hear what he has to say.

I will be voting for Clinton if she is our nominee. I really hopes she picks Bernie as her VP. I think that would bring his supporters to her. And he could use his office work with Clinton and have a more progressive influence in the White House.

The fact that they are of two different political parties is irrelevant. Just because I'm a Democrat doesn't mean I am willing to look the other way when Democrats betray the people who voted for them. I think Bill Clinton is a terrible Democrat who besmirched the office of the presidency and in so doing screwed over congressional Democrats trying to get elected or hold onto their seats. Although I can't condone or defend Clinton's conduct, I have greater issue with leaders who irresponsibly send our youth into pointless conflicts. I find that a much more offensive lacking of morality than a man with the sexual discretion of a barn cat. Being a military parent, I would take another Clinton administration over a Reagan, Bush, Nixon or LBJ.
Sending our youth to die on foreign soil or to return broken mentally and/or physically, to pad the pockets of the wealthy, seems much more seedy than the whorish behavior of Clinton.

Christie and Trump are both bullies, they are made for each other and will go down together.

I cannot believe the media gave Trump more air time by broadcasting his whole speech.

Then they claimed he was so presidential.

Did anyone watch Trump and his sons standing at the entry area before coming to the podium? It appeared to me they were talking about Christie while he was actually delivering his introduction of Trump.

Then it appeared the one son (standing on the other side of Trump) told Christie where to stand!

I couldn't stop myself from watching Christie throughout while listening all the while to Trump do his usual stuff!

Christie appeared to me to be uncomfortable and ill at ease w/the Trump group. He literally didn't fit and I almost felt sorry for him. Trump then supposedly told him to leave....total put down and the signal to Christie that he was 'beneath' them! Must have been a horrible experience.

He has made some very bad moves and is going to pay for them as to his political career is my guess. New Jersey is now calling for his resignation.

This is how it will play out....if you watched Rachel tonight you will see it too. I knew (along with a lot of us) that Trump most def does not want to win, actually being President would be too boring and actual work. So...according to Rachel, the real power brokers of the RNC will do the super delegate thing as they have done in the past and just get rid of Trump. Which means...Trump will do what he has threatened and be a 3rd party candidate which will absolutely kill the Republican party, hopefully for good. They will push Rubio I think as they all really hate Cruz and he will lose with the most monumental loss in our history. Then Trump thinks he will save face with his bullshit the party caused him to lose cause it is all about saving face. Trump has no other way our of this..he has to blame someone. My real hope is that they get rid of as many assholes in the Senate & Congress along with Trump. I lived in NJ most of my life & talking to my buddies still there...omg all they want is Christie OUT. He really thinks Trump will win and put him in some power spot but I think he really knows he is done in politics. Guess his wife will just have to find another criminal to fund her Wall Street bosses with their pension money.

    1. I agree if they broker the convention and oust Drumpf he will run a third party campaign. Maybe even with Christie as his running mate. (Although the guy should know better if he's finished as governor he really has nothing to lose).

Doesn't matter who the RNC puts on the ticket.

Even Bernie Sanders could win against a split Republican party.

And they did it to themselves. Sarah Palin and the Teabaggers will have destroyed the Republican Party. Just like parasites and infections.

Hubby just brought up a nightmare scenario: tRump gets elected, with the OK from the GOP, but he has to choose, say, RMoney for VP. Since tRump has so many skeletons in his closets, three months down the road, the GOP actually impeaches him (or he has a heart attack or whatever), and rMoney becomes President. Then he gets to choose the next few SCOTUS (and that is the reason why hubby thinks that they are refusing to let President Obama nominate a SCOTUS - because they are pretty sure about the other scenario...).

Any thoughts or comments to this?

Are they planning on fixing the voting machines?

That is the only way they are going to win even with Mittens as VP.

I don't think the would GOP would impeach Trump, they didn't impeach Nixon. All they care about is winning, who wins doesn't matter.

If they wanted to "kill" him, why not before the nomination, problem solved.

      Delete
    3. The answer would be yes.

They've done it to the Diebold machines before.

The only way to defeat the fix is for the democratic candidate to win by more than 10%.

      Obama did it.

      But can Hillary or Bernie?
