Only Donald Trump could create so much hate that he has to sneak into his own convention.

Later Trump said this to the crowd: “That was not the easiest entrance I’ve ever made. It felt like I was crossing the border actually. I was crossing the border, but I got here.”

Yeah, don't expect this to cause Trump to suddenly feel empathy for undocumented Mexicans coming to America for work. That would require some growth on the part of the Donald and let's face it the only thing that grows on him is his gut.

This is what Trump was scrambling through the underbrush to avoid.

Can you imagine a Trump presidency?

We would literally have people in the streets protesting every damn day.

In other Donald Trump news the female journalist who wrote an article about Melania Trump is harassed and threatened online by Trump supporters, Trump picked up the endorsement of the Grand Imperial Wizard of the KKK, and the Trump campaign is now actively wooing disgruntled Bernie Sanders' supporters.

And do you know what? Some of them might very well go with Donald Trump.

What was that Alfred said in the movie "The Dark Knight?"

"Some men aren't looking for anything logical. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

At this point, I'm starting to agree with Alfred...as an old, unregenerate hippie, I say, try to change the world for the better or shut up and polish your "amazing" chains. (Thanks, Karl Marx. And YEAH, I'm looking at you, whiny millennials.)

  2. To anyone who wants to vote for an egomaniacal, misogynistic, racist asshole---they should run to Trump. If they happen to be pissed off Sanders supporters then they didn't get what Bernie was talking about in the beginning. But they need to vote how they seem fit.

Hell-- the Dems survived PUMA in 2008.
I think they can survive the Sarandon wing in 2016.

    Its a free country---for now.

How Bernie Sanders Can Squander—or Expand—His Victory

Sanders has accomplished much more than what America expected, but he now stands at a precipice.

...That doesn't mean Sanders ought to quit, not until he has seized every last opportunity to deliver his message. As he continues, however, he must consider carefully what path best serves him, his movement and his country.

I thought the convention was to start in June???? Hopefully they will either do an end run around him, or he picks an experienced well liked VP candidate.

If he were to win the presidency by some weird twist of the cards, and he starts the Nazi style bullshit he loves, I wouldn't expect him to last long. We all know how well the Secret Service does it's job...

You know what? That 'Bernie supporters will vote for Trump' is a false meme.

    We are not PUMAs.

If Hillary Clinton loses the general, it's on HER....not Sanders supporters.

She can't make us vote out of fear of Teump; she's gotta EARN those votes.

Bernie polls better against the Repubs, so don't blame Sanders if you get what u want and she loses.

What do you want her to do? Seriously. The woman has been in the public eye for 40 years. You know who she is.They are more alike than they are different. She is a Democrat-what are you? Will you vote for Democrats in your state elections? Will you vote for Democratic House and Senate candidates? Will you work to make the US a better place? Or do you just plan to pout and tear out your hair because St. Bernard didn't win this time around?

You may not ever vote for Trump, but I have heard of others that will. But then that comes from putting all of someone's supporters into one box isn't it?
Proud to have voted twice for Barack and I will be proud to vote for Hillary in November.

But these Bernie Sanders' supporters should not hide from the election either. Not voting for the Democratic candidate, if Trump gets the GOP nomination, will be a gift to Trump. It's as simple as that. This is no year for temper tantrums or pouting by disgruntled supporters.

All I see is Republicans in the U.S. Congress, in State Legislatures and on local levels being voted out of office (if they are running for reelection especially!) this coming November.

I think the Independents and Democrats are riled up! Suspect the turnout to vote will be like that of President Obama when he was elected both times! (even though the media isn't stating it!)

Remember, the Republicans were just sure he would not be elected the 'first' term much less his 'second'!

Vote for Hillary Clinton folks! She is by far the most qualified and ready for the position of POTUS! There isn't an Independent or Republican out there that can match her!

I never tire of the Huffington Post's description of Donald Trump: "Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S."

How Trump Sold Us His Brand of Misogyny

...It was all very reminiscent of the unrelenting creep on a dating site. He starts by acting entitled: the fact that he is “nice to you” means you owe him special treatment, even though his overall character is anything but nice. Then, when you don’t give him what he wants, he threatens you and calls you names, and he doesn’t stop until you block his account.

Unfortunately for Ms. Kelly, Ms. Fiorina, and Mrs. Cruz, the creep they’ve crossed paths with isn’t going anywhere, because millions of men with those same misogynistic views have propped him up, leveling their own attacks on these women’s physical appearances and career ambitions.

Mr. Trump’s message to all of these women is clear: Be attractive and don’t talk back.

I would think he's going to have a very difficult time finding anyone that would be willing to take the second position to Trump's huge ego. Unless of course, he pays him big bucks and/or promises him something outlandish!

Who in their right mind would deal with his magnificient ego and the many horrible things he's said publically for the past months? He's a proven racist, anti women, a liar, fraud and joke!

Plus, he'd be the very worst representative for America! Foreign countries are already questioning America's possible choice in having him as our Republican nominee'! They think the Republican party is fucking nuts!

I grew up in the Burlingame area and don't fool yourself that this route to the back of the hotel was not preplanned. I'm sure the cops had it all blocked off and the protesters just didn't pay attention since they were able to access Old Bayshore on the front of the hotel. In speaking to a worker at the site the idea was to let the protesters take over the road in front of the hotel but to not let them get onto the hotel property.
It appears that very little damage was done to the hotel and now Trump has a new story for his future rallies.

So when trump needs to pick his VP, i think he should put all his choices in tight short shorts, and walk em around on stage, he seems to be good at that and he can then pick the one that has smaller hands then himself...... In addition, this guy trump, is just compost.

    ReplyDelete
  17. He's also going to have a lot of trouble finding a running mate.

His choices are pretty narrow. Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie and Ben Carson.

Most of the other Republicans when asked about the possibility aren't doing the polite but might non-committal but stating an emphatic NO. Jeb Bush's representative couldn't do anything else but laugh in response.

So you are probably going to see a Trump/Christie ticket.

That obviously explains why Christie swallowed his pride and behaved like a shamed little boy on stage with Trump. He can see that his only chance at the White House is to be Trump's whipping boy for 4-8 years until he can run on his own. And he thinks being Trump's VP will hold enough weight to get him nominated and elected.

    Poor, poor Christie.

Gee, never thought I'd say that.

Since Rubio seems to have fallen in line behind Trump, perhaps he will be the VP pick. Presumably, (cough-cough) he can bring in the Hispanic vote. Otherwise, none of the others will bring in any meaningful support. As Trump dreams of being American Royalty, he may as well nominate his eldest son as his VP pick.

Yeah, Melania called and said there were helicopters following his every move, as if he couldn't see nor hear them overhead. I doubt Melania has the skill set to speak on his behalf, or we'd have seen her more than Jane Sanders on television. I've seen ads with his beautiful, tall, voluptuous, educated and vivacious daughter speaking on his behalf, but I guess a translator and Melania, the chandelier polisher, would be too much to spend.
