Bernie Sanders' campaign manger heaps praise on RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

Courtesy of Politico:

Noting a report that quoted a Clinton source remarking that DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz "poured gasoline on the fire" in the wake of the chaos of the Nevada Democratic Convention, Jeff Weaver told MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" that she "really escalated the situation."

Weaver dismissed the notion that there are back-channel conversations about replacing her as chairwoman but remarked that, "I think unity in the party is much easier to achieve if we have consensus and a chair who was committed to playing the traditional role that the chairs of parties play."

What Wasserman Schultz did is "really not the role a party chair should traditionally play," he continued. "I mean, if you look at the Republican side, the party chair there has been working day and night to try and you know, keep everybody together and to try unify the party."

I'm sorry what?

By just about every standard Reince Twice and Priebus has been an unmitigated disaster since the very beginning of his tenure.  And he lost control over his party the minute that Donald Trump started winning primaries.

Weaver's hatred of Debbie Wasserman Schultz has blinded him to the facts, and I have very little doubt that the same is true of his boss.

Speaking of blinded to the facts, the Sander's campaign recently demanded that Kentucky recanvass the primary results searching for some malfeasance, and guess what?

Fayette County election officials finished the recanvass in Lexington in 20 minutes and they didn't find anything wrong.

So yes Bernie Bros Hillary Clinton DID indeed win Kentucky.

And the lesson for today is that the system is not rigged just because you lose.

Wait until tRump loses the general. As the meme circulating Facebook says, ♫ "The hills are alive with sounds of butthurt." ♫

    1. Anonymous7:07 AM

Bernie is biting the hand that feeds and it feels to me he is a Trojan horse.
      Fuck the Berm!

    2. Just like Trump screaming the system is rigged until he started winning, Bernie says the super delegates don't allow the voice of the people to count - unless of course he is able to convert them to his side then he is fine with the system. So very tired of his shit. And very sick of pundits claiming how fascinating all this is (referring to Trump). This isn't fucking fascinating- this guy has a chance to actually win and the implications to that are indeed scary.

  2. Anonymous4:21 AM

    Bitchy screws Levi again.

  3. Anonymous4:54 AM

I knew it I knew it I knew it
That SOB is a Democrat in name only.

Bernie Sanders has no allegiance to the Democratic Party

He is ready to do to the DNC that his people did to Nevada

  4. Anonymous5:05 AM

The last person to know they are a bigot, is a bigot.

  5. Anonymous5:18 AM

I suspect that Bernie Sanders' main motivation in running as a Democrat has been purely to destroy Hillary Clinton's chances at the presidency. Why? I cannot imagine but he certainly is not interested in promoting Democratic causes or in electing Democratic candidates. I guess it doesn't bother Bernie Sanders to think that his bullheaded egomania might present the American people with Donald Trump in the White House and the GOP still in control of Congress. Why does Bernie Sanders hate this country so much?

    1. Anonymous6:42 AM

    2. Anonymous7:39 AM

Bernie is trying for his life to save the gasping middle class.

      Hillary - not so much...

This is why we need a Clinton/Sanders 2016 ticket. Hillary takes care of us in the world and Bernie takes care of us in America.

Otherwise, this is a balls to the wall campaign, for fake gods sake, and Hillary can certainly stand on her own without her fanatics shouting down EVERY show of support for Bernie.

    3. Anonymous8:16 AM

Sanders has ruined his chances to ever be on a national Democratic ticket. He can look in the mirror for who to blame.

    4. Anonymous8:21 AM

Most likely "the Newt" BUT-The donny dRumpf might offer the Bernard or bust the VP position, it could happen. (BS's hands are bigger.)

    5. Anonymous9:38 AM

Oh, my fucking fake god, 8:21... the type of stupid comment you made is what makes the real Berners dig in their heels.

    6. Anonymous10:06 AM

9:38 - then you "real Berners" need to pop over to the NY Times today to learn about how many of your ilk are moving on to Trump.

    7. Anonymous10:30 AM

10:06 ~ There is a difference between real Berners and BernieBros.

BernieBros would vote for Drumpf over Clinton, and real Berners are Democratic Socialists and will vote for the party's candidate in the general election.

Your ilk is burning the house down by demonizing everyone but Hillary. No one is all good or all bad and to believe otherwise is unrealistic.

    8. Anonymous1:17 PM

10:30 - Hyperbole much? I didn't demonize anyone; I quoted you...Look to your own words if you feel dissed. The NY Times reports that many alleged Bernie supporters are for Trump. It's also discussed in posts at Crooks and Liars AND Raw Story.

    9. Anonymous2:35 PM

1:17 ~ Is it possible that some BernieBros are Drumpf plants and some ardent Hillary supporters might be masquerading as BernieBros? This is politics, ferchrissakes.

And yes, yes... Some Hillary supporters (yourself, included) do talk about Bernie as if he were $arah Paylin. It is not an exaggeration that he is spit upon (demonized).

Ask yourself if you REALLY believe that Bernie would run as Drumpf's VP, even though he's a life-long Independent and has calluses on his ass from sit-ins to prove it.

Your premise of a Drumpf/Sanders ticket is fakegoddamn ridiculous and is demonizing of Bernie (who is not all bad or all good just like Hillary).

  6. Anonymous5:19 AM

She has nothing to lose at this point.
She's not even trying to hide her lies anymore. She knows her hardcore supporters will believe anything she says.

    1. Anonymous5:59 AM

Choke in November when you hear the words "Hillary Clinton, the first female President of the United States has been elected in a landslide".

    2. Anonymous6:03 AM

    3. Anonymous6:44 AM

She broke no laws. End of story. Another ginned up faux outrage against the Clintons. Get back to us when Bush's 20,000 deleted emails hosted on a private server owned by the RNC are litigated.

  7. 66gardeners5:56 AM

Insecure, small-membered men are intimated when strong women do their jobs competently. I am seeing a pattern here with Bernie Sanders and women. Any woman is stands her ground with these types are what we need to make this country great again.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a true American hero. Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Jennifer Granholm, Hillary Clinton show then how it is done.

    1. Anonymous9:35 AM

The beef with DWS was not started by Bernie. She was in the can for Hillary, and unfortunately her bias was showing.

That being said, i do not envy Debbie the position in which she finds herself.

  8. Sanders' campaign is either incompetent or aimed at sabotaging the Democrats. I've gone from being tired of him to loathing him.

    1. Anonymous7:10 AM

      +1 - sorry I ever gave him $40 in 2015.

    2. Anonymous7:32 AM

      @anon 7:10am
Contact his campaign an demand your money back, but I would do it very soon while he still has $40 left.

"I cannot imagine but he certainly is not interested in promoting Democratic causes or in electing Democratic candidates"

5:18 this is what is posted in NEW YORK:

"But in recent days, Sanders has signaled a commitment to building his movement inside the Democratic tent, raising funds for a slate of like-minded state legislators, and for Wisconsin Senate candidate Russ Feingold."

Like you said 5:18, Sanders is not interested in trying to get Democratic politicians elected.

Sanders is interested in only helping and fundraising for Democratic like-minded politicians who will further his agenda.

Whereas Security Hillary Clinton is working on helping and fundraising for all her fellow Democrats who are on the ballot.

    1. Anonymous6:23 AM

I am delighted that Sanders has endorsed Russ Feingold who was and will again be a superb senator. However Bernie's support is coming fairly late in the game and only under pressure because for so long he did absolutely nothing to encourage other Democrats running for election.

    2. Anonymous7:42 AM

Beaglemom - you are so right about Bernie jumping in to help Feingold sort of late in the game. Feingold was already on track to win over creepy eyed ron johnson.

  10. I must add that since Sanders is not a member of the Democratic Party he should shut up about "the traditional role a party chair should play."

He has however inspired me to donate to DWS' campaign.

    1. Anonymous7:11 AM

+1 in that he inspired me to donate to HRC 3 times so far this year.

    2. Anonymous12:27 PM

Do you know anything about DWS except that Bernie is for her opponent?

Or maybe you're all for Big money, lobbyists, Wall St. and PayDay loans.

You're all for end runs around and weakening of the Consumer Protection Agency that Elizabeth Warren set up to protect the little guys.

Because that's what DWS if FOR. Big Money, Wall St. Payday Loans. Basically she is against what Elizabeth Warren is trying to do.

So I guess you need to EDUCATE yourself, JUNIOR. Are you a first time voter or just ignorant?

  11. Anonymous6:18 AM

"Days after Clinton entered office in January of 2009, Lukens talked with her then-Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills about ways for the top diplomat to access her email while at the State Department.
Like other areas of the department, Clinton’s office was considered a secured zone where officials were barred from bringing cellphones and unsecure devices. As such, she was unable to bring her BlackBerry device into the office.
Clinton never had a computer on her desk in the office."

    No computer on her desk?
And that Blackberry in her hand constantly...

    1. Anonymous6:50 AM

NY Times story shows that many of the alleged Bernie supporters who talk non-stop about the FBI & e-mails are really Trump supporters:

    2. Anonymous7:22 AM

Bernie Sanders’s ‘Scorched Earth’ Strategy Seems to Be Working

Bernie Sanders has no realistic path to the Democratic nomination. Despite the protestations of postmodern mathematicians, his campaign is no longer about who will represent Blue America in the main event this fall, but rather, how Hillary Clinton will choose to represent it.

The socialist senator still refuses to cop to this fact. Earlier this week, he suggested that anyone who thinks Clinton is the presumptive Democratic nominee must harbor a secret longing for authoritarian rule. And his campaign promises to take its fight to the convention, even in the (beyond likely) scenario that Clinton boasts a massive lead in pledged delegates when all the votes are counted.

In justifying this patently anti-democratic stance, the campaign has encouraged supporters to view its losses as illegitimate – reflections of a process rigged through too few debates, too many closed primaries, and too much cooperation between the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton...

Elected Democrats responded by railing against the Vermont senator’s aggressive tactics. Liberal commentators warned that this “scorched Earth” strategy was self-defeating: At this point, undermining Clinton would only undermine his future influence within her party.

But over the past few days, a funny thing happened: A wave of polling data established that Sanders really is undermining Clinton’s prospects in the general election – and the Democratic Party began searching for bones to throw the senator’s way...

    1. Anonymous7:12 AM

Whatever. It's all pyrrhic theatrics just to appease an old white man's ego.

    2. Anonymous8:18 AM

      "scorched earth"

Puhleeze. Her falling poll numbers are a symptom of Clinton's problems, not a cause by Sanders.

    3. Anonymous10:04 AM

Her poll numbers are not falling. Hers will rise higher when Bernie concedes. Trump's rose when the others bowed out on the GOP side.

  14. 66gardeners7:13 AM

Here is all the proof you need that DWS is doing a fabulous job for democrats.

"The RNC is scrambling to respond to increasingly frantic concerns from state GOP officials that the RNC has not provided enough field organizers and will be badly outgunned by Democrats in battleground states.

POLITICO surveyed nearly two dozen GOP chairmen, officials and operatives in key swing states who said the RNC hadn’t delivered on promises, imperiling their ability to launch the robust voter-turnout operation needed in the general election.

Thank you Debbie Wasserman Schultz for focusing on what is important and doing your job competently, unlike the small-membered men whom you intimidate.

    1. Anonymous12:14 PM

Last month, the RNC reported having just $16 million, a fraction of what it had at the same point in the 2008 and 2012 campaigns.

    2. Anonymous12:31 PM

Why do you assume that just because DWS is a woman anyone that criticizes her is misogynistic, insecure or feels "threatened by a strong woman".

Isn't that playing the "woman card"? (Which the Clinton Campaign has yet to mail to me.)

Could it be that there is something about DWS values and beliefs that a person just is not happy with?

Her protection of predator Pay Day Loans perhaps?

Or maybe her desire to weaken and do end runs around the consumer protection agency that Elizabeth Warren set up?

Pretty hard to support both Warren and DWS when their values seem to be opposite one another.

One wants big money out of politics, the other is working so hard to keep it in.

  15. Anonymous7:20 AM

    Yeah right.
The OIG report and FBI investigation doesn't have anything to do with people rethinking backing Hillary.
Throw in DWS and people are gettin' a serious case of doubt...

    1. Anonymous8:13 AM

Actually, she's gaining followers and supporters. Just wait until she gets the post-convention bounce this summer & the huge Obama-Biden bounce this fall!

  16. Anonymous7:31 AM

Can you say? STUPID NAZI THINK

    1. Anonymous8:11 AM

I know - just like Susan Sarandon said in April on the Chris Hayes show "All In." Exact same. Nutters!

  17. Anonymous7:35 AM

    First Hillary said:
    "It was allowed."
    After OIG report came out:
    "I thought it was allowed."

    1. Anonymous8:10 AM

      Whatever. No one cares.

  18. Anonymous7:42 AM

Read Shakesville<<<<<<<<<< "But laziness matters! He doesn't even want the damn job!"-What if he chooses Bernie? Could do..

  19. Anonymous7:54 AM

Sanders set this whole thing up>

    1. Anonymous8:09 AM

Yeah. Sad. Sanders will do anything for media attention, including throwing tantrums.

  20. Anonymous8:15 AM

All respect I once had for ole bernie is now in the toilet.

Wanna bet if dRUMPf offers him the VP spot he will take it in an instant? That's probably orchestrated to happen during this FAUX debate. It's all about what's in it for bernie. He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.

I'd like to see a list of bills he introduced in congress to help the lower and middle classes. Then a list of how many are now law.

Big mouth, no action. Just like dRUMPf.

  21. Anonymous8:16 AM

"Sanders set this whole thing up"

You folks are starting to sound like Republicans talking about Obama: one second he's and idiot and the next he's an evil genius.

Make up your minds whether Sanders an egomaniacal mastermind "scorching the earth" or a bumbling, dottering old socialist ready for the old folks home. You flip-flop as often as your queen.

    1. Anonymous8:42 AM

He's a big fat mess! I've made up my mind a long time ago. By the way, human thought is more complex than just either/or thinking.

    2. Anonymous9:45 AM

Just because sanders is "a bumbling, dottering old socialist ready for the old folks home" doesn't mean his staff are not ego-maniacal and intent on a scorched earth policy - jeff weaver especially.
      You shouldn't confuse the two.

  22. Anonymous8:36 AM

WAKE UP or we ALL DIE! "“We’re going to cancel the Paris climate agreement,”
"Trump promised to undo essentially every major policy developed in the last decade intended to slow human-caused global warming."
Trump also said in his Thursday speech that he would undo President Obama’s climate change policies, specifically calling out the Climate Action Plan by name."

    1. Anonymous9:46 AM

Male chauvinism is so against a woman (women) that they will destroy the world to win.

  23. Anonymous8:55 AM

I'll tell you what I think. I like Bernie but I'm voting for Hillary. She knows how to do the job. And I despise Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She's part of the big money crowd and has got to go if the Democratic Party ever wants to be seen as legitimately "liberal."

    1. Anonymous10:42 AM

@8:55 ~ Thank you for the nutshell.

    2. Anonymous12:33 PM

DWS will never go. She's one of Hillary's brown shirts.

    3. Anonymous1:42 PM

Wrong. Gross, 12:33. The rumor I heard is Jen Granholm.

  24. Anonymous12:27 PM
Among other things the report confirms Hillary Clinton never received authorization (S/ES-IRM, DS), she hid the server from security audits, and she failed to implement safeguards and controls for archiving records. Her server was the target of attacks, which were never officially reported to S/ES-IRM as required.
The report also revealed, that longtime Bill Clinton aide Justin Cooper, had admin access to Clinton's server. Cooper was an employee of Teneo Holdings and The Clinton Foundation and held no security clearances.

    1. Anonymous1:42 PM

    2. Anonymous1:45 PM

Why aren't you going after Bush and Cheney's use of a private server, and their 30.000 deleted e-mails? Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Americans, and forces from around the world, died due to them, and they were both ELECTED officials.

    3. Anonymous4:00 AM

Anon at 1:45 pm. No one in the media or in the Bush administration went after anyone who did wrong in their administration - ever. The media played along, no questions asked, when the US invaded Iraq and the sham continued on.

What's going on now is like every other non-scandal that the GOP has tried to accuse Hillary Clinton of. I think the GOP really fears her because 1) she's a woman and 2) she's an extremely competent woman.

  25. Anonymous2:38 PM

Politics is(are?) hard to stomach, sometimes.

  26. Anonymous3:58 PM

Donald Trump decided not to debate the second string. Now Bernie Sanders is trying to egg Trump on. Sanders you have to realize everybody knows you are desperate to debate anybody. Stop begging and crying.

  27. Anita Winecooler5:33 PM

Sometimes, when everything you say reeks of desperation, it's time to call it a day. Is Bernie just now becoming aware of the Democratic Party and it's chairwoman? I had considered him in the beginning, but found Hillary fits my views of the Democratic Party. To have a recount to prove one's own suspicions is fine, but it costs money and why should the DNC pay the bill? The DNC and DWS did that for him, and saved him money, and this is the thanks they/she gets? What has Reince done for Bernie lately?

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
