Bernie Sanders' campaign manger heaps praise on RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

Courtesy of Politico:

Noting a report that quoted a Clinton source remarking that DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz "poured gasoline on the fire" in the wake of the chaos of the Nevada Democratic Convention, Jeff Weaver told MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" that she "really escalated the situation."

Weaver dismissed the notion that there are back-channel conversations about replacing her as chairwoman but remarked that, "I think unity in the party is much easier to achieve if we have consensus and a chair who was committed to playing the traditional role that the chairs of parties play."

What Wasserman Schultz did is "really not the role a party chair should traditionally play," he continued. "I mean, if you look at the Republican side, the party chair there has been working day and night to try and you know, keep everybody together and to try unify the party."

I'm sorry what?

By just about every standard Reince Twice and Priebus has been an unmitigated disaster since the very beginning of his tenure.  And he lost control over his party the minute that Donald Trump started winning primaries.

Weaver's hatred of Debbie Wasserman Schultz has blinded him to the facts, and I have very little doubt that the same is true of his boss.

Speaking of blinded to the facts, the Sander's campaign recently demanded that Kentucky recanvass the primary results searching for some malfeasance, and guess what?

Fayette County election officials finished the recanvass in Lexington in 20 minutes and they didn't find anything wrong.

So yes Bernie Bros Hillary Clinton DID indeed win Kentucky.

And the lesson for today is that the system is not rigged just because you lose.

    2. Just like Trump screaming the system is rigged until he started winning, Bernie says the super delegates don't allow the voice of the people to count - unless of course he is able to convert them to his side then he is fine with the system. So very tired of his shit. And very sick of pundits claiming how fascinating all this is (referring to Trump). This isn't fucking fascinating- this guy has a chance to actually win and the implications to that are indeed scary.

I suspect that Bernie Sanders' main motivation in running as a Democrat has been purely to destroy Hillary Clinton's chances at the presidency. Why? I cannot imagine but he certainly is not interested in promoting Democratic causes or in electing Democratic candidates. I guess it doesn't bother Bernie Sanders to think that his bullheaded egomania might present the American people with Donald Trump in the White House and the GOP still in control of Congress. Why does Bernie Sanders hate this country so much?

      Hillary - not so much...

This is why we need a Clinton/Sanders 2016 ticket. Hillary takes care of us in the world and Bernie takes care of us in America.

Otherwise, this is a balls to the wall campaign, for fake gods sake, and Hillary can certainly stand on her own without her fanatics shouting down EVERY show of support for Bernie.

Bernie Sanders’s ‘Scorched Earth’ Strategy Seems to Be Working

Bernie Sanders has no realistic path to the Democratic nomination. Despite the protestations of postmodern mathematicians, his campaign is no longer about who will represent Blue America in the main event this fall, but rather, how Hillary Clinton will choose to represent it.

The socialist senator still refuses to cop to this fact. Earlier this week, he suggested that anyone who thinks Clinton is the presumptive Democratic nominee must harbor a secret longing for authoritarian rule. And his campaign promises to take its fight to the convention, even in the (beyond likely) scenario that Clinton boasts a massive lead in pledged delegates when all the votes are counted.

In justifying this patently anti-democratic stance, the campaign has encouraged supporters to view its losses as illegitimate – reflections of a process rigged through too few debates, too many closed primaries, and too much cooperation between the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton...

Elected Democrats responded by railing against the Vermont senator’s aggressive tactics. Liberal commentators warned that this “scorched Earth” strategy was self-defeating: At this point, undermining Clinton would only undermine his future influence within her party.

But over the past few days, a funny thing happened: A wave of polling data established that Sanders really is undermining Clinton’s prospects in the general election – and the Democratic Party began searching for bones to throw the senator’s way...

Here is all the proof you need that DWS is doing a fabulous job for democrats.

"The RNC is scrambling to respond to increasingly frantic concerns from state GOP officials that the RNC has not provided enough field organizers and will be badly outgunned by Democrats in battleground states.

POLITICO surveyed nearly two dozen GOP chairmen, officials and operatives in key swing states who said the RNC hadn’t delivered on promises, imperiling their ability to launch the robust voter-turnout operation needed in the general election.

Why do you assume that just because DWS is a woman anyone that criticizes her is misogynistic, insecure or feels "threatened by a strong woman".

Isn't that playing the "woman card"? (Which the Clinton Campaign has yet to mail to me.)

Could it be that there is something about DWS values and beliefs that a person just is not happy with?

Her protection of predator Pay Day Loans perhaps?

Or maybe her desire to weaken and do end runs around the consumer protection agency that Elizabeth Warren set up?

Pretty hard to support both Warren and DWS when their values seem to be opposite one another.

One wants big money out of politics, the other is working so hard to keep it in.
