I think John Oliver's response to the shooting in Orlando is something we all need to see.

I think "terrorist dipshit" may be my new favorite phrase.

  1. Perfect response. He simply pointed out how enormously outnumbered the evil "dipshit terrorist " is by showing the hundreds and hundreds of good, loving people lined up to give blood.

"Omar Mateen's current wife, Noor, told the FBI she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster, several officials familiar with the case said. She told the FBI that she once drove him to the gay nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out."
Mateen's father is also responsible. The women have almost "no say".

"It's far too early to be definitive, and some leads inevitably don't pan out, but we have to consider at least the possibility that he might have sought martyrdom partly to gain absolution for what he believed were his grave sins," one of the officials said."

While I love John Oliver, Samantha Bee's response was better.

  4. Not a man of faith, just another misfit for whom death is preferable to being a man, a responsible husband, and a good father. He believed in nothing and he stood for nothing. Call him whatever you want, nothing changes the fact that this was a loser who had nothing to contribute. Death was the only thing he could come up with. Anything else might have taken effort and hard work. Much easier to destroy than to build. His religion makes not a bit of difference. He, like all killers, fits the same pathetic profile.

He's right "Terrorist dipshit" fits perfectly. And the media with it's armchair quarterbacking and bullshit are tripping over each other to get something right. On CNN, they had this psychologist on, and with the broadest brush/ make that roller, said "Homosexuals carry a lot of self loathing, this guy's religion wouldn't allow him to come out as a gay man, so he killed and maimed innocent people". Not "Some" nor "Occasionally". What is she trying to accomplish by implying all homosexuals loathe themselves? The guy was allegedly known to frequent this nightclub, and the ex wife made "test runs" with him and never brought it to the cops attention? I guess heterosexual women loathe themselves as well. I had to turn off the television, there's too much ignorance.
