In response to criticism from his own party Donald Trump tells them to "be quiet" or he is going to "do it" alone.

Courtesy of CNN:

Donald Trump slammed GOP leaders on Wednesday for not lining up behind him, implying that he's willing to go forward without their help.

"We have to have our Republicans either stick together or let me just do it by myself. I'll do very well. I'm going to do very well. OK? I'm going to do very well. A lot of people thought I should do that anyway, but I'll just do it very nicely by myself," Trump said, though he did not elaborate on what doing it "by myself" would mean.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee also accused his party's leaders of being weak and told them to "please be quiet."

"You know the Republicans, honestly folks, our leaders, our leaders have to get tougher," Trump said during a rally in Atlanta. "Our leaders have to get a lot tougher. And be quiet. Just please be quiet. Don't talk. Please be quiet. Just be quiet to the leaders because they have to get tougher, they have to get sharper, they have to get smarter."

As an illustration of the kind of thing that has the GOP leaders worried Donald Trump retweeted a  debunked conspiracy theory claiming that Hillary Clinton had evidence that President Obama was supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq.
So clearly Trump is telling the GOP that if they continue to undermine him he will move forward without their support, which in my opinion also means he will launch a third party candidacy if they try to steal the nomination from him at the convention.

And in the meantime he is going to continue saying and tweeting things that the Republicans will either have to defend, or renounce, which will continue chipping away at their credibility as a national party.

Popcorn anyone?

    4. Or perhaps he's been (unknowingly) infected by the Toxoplasma gondii parasite. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention more than 20 percent of the U.S. population has been infected by the Toxoplasma parasite.

      http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/rage-disorder-linked-with-parasite-found-in-cat-feces/

Uncontrollable, explosive bouts of anger such a road rage might be the result of an earlier brain infection from the toxoplasmosis parasite, an organism found in cat feces, a new study finds.

In the study of more than 350 adults, those with a psychiatric disorder called Intermittent Explosive Disorder, or IED, were twice as likely to have been infected by the toxoplasmosis parasite compared with healthy individuals with no psychiatric diagnosis.

The study adds to a growing body of evidence suggesting that toxoplasmosis — usually a mild or nonsymptomatic infection from a protozoan parasite called Toxoplasma gondii — may somehow alter people's brain chemistry to cause long-term behavior problems. Previous studies have linked toxoplasmosis to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, impulsivity and suicidal behavior.

It would be VERY interesting if attendees at a Trump rally could be tested for the presence of this parasite and the figures complared with the national average … and with attendees at a Clinton rally.

The jerk is so obviously not a team player. Republicans are in HUGE trouble with this guy! He'll bring them down and then he'll never be elected POTUS. All for naught!

I really believe Trump is mentally off - why hasn't that issue been researched by the Democratic party? Or has it? And, when will either Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, VP Joe Biden or President Obama drop the information to the American public?

Also the coward Rep or Senator King said it was great the Donnie is talking to the NRA because now the Republicans "can take cover behind Trump"-which I assume is from the wrath of the NRA since the GOP doesn't represent the people when it comes to guns.

The RNC declined on Wednesday to answer nine specific questions about the party committee’s relationship with the Trump campaign and the hiring of former fired Trump campaign staffer, Rick Wiley, who was hired to run their field program, a position Trump felt he no longer needed.

On Wednesday, the RNC told The Washington
One Trump operative described Wiley's hiring by the RNC “a direct f— you to the campaign.”

Trump’s campaign has sought to exert influence over the RNC by signaling its preference that party contracts be withheld from some firms that worked for Trump opponents or on the so-called #NeverTrump movement to block him from the nomination. The RNC has hired some of them anyway

The Drumpf supporters are steering Drumpf's non-existent primary campaign. Drumpf is feeding them what they're yelling for and is afraid they'll turn on HIM if they don't get what they want.

Drumpf needs to run as a third party (the MAGA party) and let those people vote for him. He can remain their fearless leader after the election because, after all, those are the people who stay in his branded resorts and buy his wine and steaks ~ right?

The occupancy in Drumpf's branded hotels is down 59%. That is a death-blow to any hospitality group. Drumpf will file some more bankruptcies and hotels paying to be branded with his name will fall behind on their minimums, causing their own financial re-organizations to avoid Drumpf lawsuits.

In the meantime, Drumpf will be King-of-the-Righteous and his battery of lawyers will keep making Porche and swimming pool payments.

My dream would be to put then put all the Drumpf supporters on the No Fly/No Gun list as HILLARY took their guns. (Oh, that would be delicious Karma.)

Hillary Clinton's campaign is taking the reins of the Democratic National Committee, installing a new top official on Thursday to oversee the party's day-to-day operations through the general election.
Brandon Davis, national political director for the Service Employees International Union, will become the general election chief of staff for the Democratic Party. His selection formalizes the coordination of the Clinton campaign and the committee, a stark contrast to Donald Trump who is currently at odds with his party.
Robby Mook, the Clinton campaign manager, arrived Thursday morning at Democratic headquarters on Capitol Hill to introduce Davis to the party's staff.

"We have a lot of work to do over the next five months to make sure that Donald Trump does not become president," Mook said as he introduced Davis, according to a person in the room. "With so much at stake in this election, we could not ask for a better partner in that mission than the team here."

Bernie is now getting help from Karl Rove’s Super PAC, American Crossroads. Isn’t that just awesome – getting Sanders, Rove and Super PAC all in the same sentence! Rove is running attack ads for Bernie in Nevada. Sanders is getting help from both American Crossroads, the Super PAC, and Crossroads GPS, the 501c4 “social welfare” organization that Karl Rove uses to evade campaign finance laws and launch attack ads under the guise of charity work. So not only is Sanders getting Republican help, he is complicit in Karl Rove’s efforts to violate tax law.

For the most part, I am glad the media is getting away from destroying a person by interjecting opinions about their personal lives. That is what is most immoral about American politics. There is no such thing as a family secret. There is a person's personal truth, which no one else has a right to judge or comment on because no one else could ever understand it unless they LIVE IT, unless they think with that person's brain.

There's too much of "this person thinks this way. or feels this way" No. That's so bad to think like that. No one has a right to judge a person's decisions or take sides.

Hey, anybody out there reading this.

So, first diary. Probably last. I dunno. I’ve had a lot of thoughts swirling in my mind since the massacre on Sunday. I haven’t been able to talk to friends about it. So, I am appealing to the DailyKos community, where at the very least, most people seem to be good people, and there’s still a layer of anonymity.

I’m gay. That statement seems like nothing to most of you, I think, but until three years ago, I couldn’t say that to myself at all. I am 38 years old and still only a handful of people in my personal life know this. Before three years ago, there was only one. I couldn’t even say it on the internet. In the last few months, I’ve told a few of my friends, and my sister, and while it’s a liberating feeling, it’s also terrifying to be so vulnerable.

So I’ve been getting braver. I think it came from shedding religion from my life, and realizing I am an atheist. That was also a very long journey for me. My family, an Evangelical Protestant Latino family, is pretty deeply religious. There are things that God does not approve of. Being homosexual, of course, is one of them.

I think those rallies sound like a recent palin hoe down. We should look at what was going on in the heads of German civilians when Hitler rose and remained in power.

I foresee the following if he is elected:

Trump will continue to become paranoid and urge us to tell on one another for the sake of the country. He will become head of the church. Replace the word "Muslim" with other ethnicities/minorities. Direct transfer of money from government accounts to the Trump org; No free press/no guns. And, nuking countries that are not nice to Trump.

Leaked Emails Show DNC Colluded with Media to Push Clinton Nomination

Despite claims of neutrality, recently leaked emails show the Democratic National Committee was putting its thumb on the scale for Hillary Clinton for over a year.

When it was revealed that “Guccifer 2.0” (named after Romanian hacker Guccifer, who confessed to hacking into Hillary Clinton’s private email server multiple times) hacked the DNC’s servers, the main story was about leaked opposition research on Donald Trump. But on the same site Guccifer published the Trump research, “2016 GOP presidential candidates,” there were also DNC talking points suggesting the party’s central organization had been working since May of 2015 to make Hillary Clinton the nominee.

The DNC was diligently cleaning up Clinton’s record, using “specific hits to muddy the waters around ethics, transparency, and campaign finance attacks on HRC.”

So right about why McCain's a loser.

McCain's race is tightening up. I'd love it if he lost. He'd not know what to do with himself. All he has going is staying in that Senate seat and I'm sure he thinks he's going to be a senator until the day he dies. I would love to see that dream come to an end.

And contrasting McCain's assholeness with Obama's class, how nice it was to see Rubio come off Air Force One, invited by Obama to head down to Florida with him rather than to have to make arrangements to get down there on his own. It's small things like this that speak volumes.

Richard Armitage, the deputy secretary of state under George W. Bush, says he will vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, in one of the most dramatic signs yet that Republican national security elites are rejecting their party’s presumptive nominee.

Armitage, a retired Navy officer who also served as an assistant secretary of defense under Ronald Reagan, is thought by Clinton aides to be the highest-ranking former GOP national security official to openly support Clinton over Trump.

“If Donald Trump is the nominee, I would vote for Hillary Clinton,” Armitage told POLITICO in a brief interview. “He doesn't appear to be a Republican, he doesn't appear to want to learn about issues. So, I’m going to vote for Mrs. Clinton.”

    Trump’s campaign hits a wall

...Florida Republican strategist Rick Wilson, a longtime critic of Trump, laughed before rattling off a list of what he sees as the failures of the GOP standard-bearer.

“Look, I mean, what could be going wrong with Donald Trump? ... He is being out-raised by every possible fundraising metric. He is losing in the national polling averages. He is being crushed in the swing-state polls. He is being devastated in the polls in the states that he claims he is going to put into play, such as California, New Jersey and New York. ... And he is increasingly erratic.”

Wilson added, “This is unlike an ordinary campaign where you focus on the top of the ticket. This year, instead of good things rolling down the hill, it’s like these candidates are at the bottom of a chute in a butcher’s shop.

“They’re going to be covered in gore. It’s horrifying.”

Regarding the LGBT nightclub attack, the vile John McCain said, "Barack Obama is directly responsible for it because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al Qaeda went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama's failures...." http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/16/politics/john-mccain-obama-directly-responsible-orlando-shooting/

But, Johnny...who caused al Qaeda to go into Iraq in the first place? (Al Qaeda was created by Bin Laden in Afghanistan, where the U. S. supported and lavishly funded it versus the Soviets in the '80s.) Al Qaeda arrived in Iraq IMMEDIATELY after the American invasion in 2003. The disastrous U. S. occupation, which utterly destablized the country, allowed "Al Qaeda in Iraq" (the original name of ISIS) to grow, thrive, and expand. And, of course, the U. S. is indirectly supporting ISIS in Syria because it wants Assad (and his ally, Iran) to lose there. Which John McCain favors, as he has all U. S. invasions/wars, wherever they are.

McCain is disingenuously appealing to the far right again, but it's not going to work. So glad this horrible man, who foisted Sarah Palin on us, is going to lose his Senate seat this year!

“There was a fat contestant who was a buffoon and a fuckup,” recalls the midlevel producer. “And he would fuck up week after week, and the producers would figure that he’d screwed up so badly that Trump would have to fire him. But Trump kept deciding to fire someone else. The producers had to scramble because of course Trump can never be seen to make a bad call on the show, so we had to re-engineer the footage to make a different contestant look bad. Later, I heard a producer talk to him, and Trump said, ‘Everybody loves a fat guy. People will watch if you have a funny fat guy around. Trust me, it’s good for ratings.’ I look at Chris Christie now and I swear that’s what’s happening.”
