MSNBC's Joe Scarborough is really having a hard time with this Donald Trump nomination.

Courtesy of CBS News:

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Wednesday said he won't support Donald Trump for president until he proves he's not a bigot.

"Donald, guess what, I'm not going to support you until you get your act together. You're acting like a Bush-league loser, you're acting like a racist, you're acting like a bigot," the host of "Morning Joe" said.

"I have taken the gun away from my head I am putting it on the table and now. It is in your hands on whether you are going to prove to the Republican party and me personally that you're not a bigot," he said.

"Don't use Hillary Clinton as a threat against me, don't use Hillary Clinton as an excuse, as your blank check to say racist things about people born in Indiana," Scarborough added. "No, Donald, you don't get to play it that way, I'm not scared of you, and I'm not scared of the base because they're just as pissed off as me."

Still not a fan but I have to admit that I do enjoy watching these Republican types losing their minds over the fact that their party is so ignorant and awash in racism that it was willing to actually nominate this orange tinted extra from the "Sopranos"

It's like they suddenly woke to realize that every criticism lobbed at their party for the last twenty years was spot on, and now there is simply no denying that.

I have decided to embrace the new Democratic morality
When I get caught cheating, I will say "at least I am not Trump"
When I fuck over the poor for some rich friends "at least I am not Trump"
When I pull some really violent crap "at least I am not Trump"
From now on When you bring any complaints about my behavior, I will accuse you of supporting Trump
And it should work for me because unlike Hillary, I have never taken Trump's cash nor been his friend, so I shall now enter a new life free of any criticism, thank you DNC/MSNBC for opening this beautiful moral door for me.

Not a fan, but does Mika get her roots done daily? Yeah, Mr Joe, get his attention with guns, but be prepared to pick it back up. Trump owes you no excuses, he's the new face of the GOP. If Speaker Ryan's ok with it, then take a ticket and stand in line.
What's wrong with MSNBC keeping this bullshit show on the air???

Sanders' mission from day 1 was to pull the Dem party back to the left and closer - or all the way - to being the party of the people, the party that it was before 92 when it was hijacked by corporatist neoliberals. How you now characterize the continuing effort to influence the party platform as rebranding is puzzling.

I'm afraid it is too late for Trump to prove he's not a bigot. Even if he apologizes for the judge comments, he is still a bigot.

And I have a hard time with the Republicans suddenly all up in arms. He's been saying this stuff all along and they barely said a word.

That's because it was the primary. They needed all the goobers votes. Now it's the general and they really believed he was just saying that stuff to pull in the red meat crowd, but now that he's doing it, they're freaking out because they're worried that he's gonna lose the general with this stuff since the general electorate is made up of way different voters than the primary. So they have to try to stop him from being so out of control. What they don't seem to get is that this guy is a master manipulator and will say and do whatever he can in the moment to get his way. They really believed he would 'change' and pivot to the general and be more 'presidential'. Idiots.

The reason Trump "looks like a bush-league loser" is that you can't get more bush-league than running for POTUS first time out, and he's going to lose all the way down the ticket for Republicans.

Did I mention that he took back his promise to raise $1 Billion for the RNC today because he doesn't need it. He can "just go on tv and get free press." I'm sure that all the R's running in House and Senate races are messing themselves just about now. The Koch brothers can prop them ALL up.

RNC Web site doesn’t mention Donald Trump anywhere

The Republican National Committee Web site, GOP.com, is missing something: The Republican party presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

Not only is Trump not mentioned on the site’s home page, he’s not mentioned anywhere in the entire web site.

First, here’s the RNC’s home page — no Trump:

Donald Trump has told the Republican Party that he doesn't need to raise the money he promised them because his cable news interviews will get him elected to the White House.

“There’s no reason to raise that,” Trump said about raising $1 billion. “I just don’t think I need nearly as much money as other people need because I get so much publicity. I get so many invitations to be on television. I get so many interviews, if I want them.”

    http://www.politicususa.com/2016/06/08/trump-crazy-decision-give-democrats-election-day.html

This is a sad commentary on our media today because they have given him a billion dollars of free advertising and he is SURE they will continue to do that. And they may. Disgusting.

Trump is a very good reason for Democrats to keeps the superdelegates. Superdelegates were put in place to avoid having an unelectable nominee.

If Republicans had superdelegates, they would not have Trump as their nominee.
