Remember just three years ago when Donald Trump gushed over the Clintons and praised Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State?

"Well first of all I know her very well and I know her husband very well, and I like them both. And they are just genuinely terrific people. I like them both very much. But I think you'll be, you know, you'll be looking at the record of Hillary Clinton, and how did she do as Secretary of State. Probably above and beyond everybody else, and everything else. You'll be looking at her record, and everybody else will be looking at her record. I don't know that Benghazi, it doesn't seem to have resonated like perhaps it should have, but many other things have come up, and the world is in turmoil. And I think that a lot of people will be looking at Hillary's record as Secretary of State and she will be defending that record, and I'm sure she will do a good job of defending it, but that will be the thing that they will be going for. "

I swear it is almost as hard to decipher the Trump babble as it was to make sense out of the Palin word salad.

However what seems fairly clear here, and don't forget this interview was in 2013 only a year after Trump embarrassed himself over the Obama birth certificate lunacy, is that Trump had great admiration for Hillary and even points out that during a campaign she will be attacked on her record as Secretary of State, but that he thinks she can easily defend it.

So here we are, flash forward three years, and it is Donald Trump who is attempting to attack Hillary Clinton on her record as SOS.
If I were the Clinton campaign I would simply make an ad featuring that NBC clip, followed by some snippets of the truly harsh things he says about her today, and then add the tag line, "Donald Trump, he was for Hillary Clinton, before he was against Hillary Clinton."

Damn, I really need to start charging for this.

Donald Cluck has already requested that the GOP fund his campaign after he receives the nomination at the convention.

All the GOP has to do is starve him of funds. Sure they can fund him at the bare bones level. He who has the gold makes the rules. They can make sure he loses by holding those purse strings so tight then strangle his campaign.

It's only a matter of do they want him to lose that badly? After all, if he wins it's a Republican in the White House.

There's going to be a lot of soul searching in the party.

    O/T somewhat

    Interesting take on campaign funding

"So about $43.5 million of the small-dollar donations Sanders has raised has gone directly into the coffers of some of the world’s biggest corporations: Facebook FB -0.03% , Google GOOG -0.21% , and Verizon VZ -0.92% , cable and broadcast conglomerates like Comcast CMCSA 0.68% , radio station and billboard owners.

All presidential campaigns, because of the amount raised and spent, function as a form of stimulus and redistribution. Really rich people give huge donations — money that otherwise would have sat idle on the balance sheets of plutocrats — and campaigns then spend that on advertising, salaries, hotel rooms, and airfare, which then creates lots of service jobs at big corporations.

Something tells me, though, redistributing cash from legions of small donors to the shareholders of large corporations isn’t what Sanders had in mind when he pledged to implement more redistributive policies."

Donald Cluck's new hissy is against the PGA.

Seems they couldn't get enough sponsors to cover the World Golf Championship because it was being held at Chicken Drumpf's golf course in Florida.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-golf-mexico_us_574f7af6e4b0eb20fa0cc4dc

"PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem said the move was necessary “once it became apparent that we would not be able to secure sponsorship at levels that would sustain the event and help it grow at Trump National Doral.”"

So they moved it to Mexico.

"The PGA said the World Golf Championship event would move from Trump National Doral to a site in Mexico City and be sponsored by the Grupo Salinas conglomerate."

Donald is now accusing the PGA of "outsourcing". And of course he's blowing it all up out of proportion saying the move will lose millions of dollars in revenue for the U.S. and cost thousands of jobs, hundreds of thousands of fans will be disappointed, etc.

(I'll bet it's still broadcast on U.S. television. No way hundreds of thousands of fans personally watch it on the golf course as spectators.)

If he's worth so much money and wants the tournament at his golf course, why didn't he put up the money to keep them there?

I think we all know the reason for that.

I see people coming up to the White House and kissing Donny's little white knuckles trying to appeal to his favor. Hmmm. That's a real enough possibility. Did you see how scared Christie looked standing behind him some months back? And the RNC is slowly bending to this guy. He has a certain hold over them that is so not American. Same with the workers who built and work at his properties? He's about as genuine as his toupee'.
