Donald Trump gives the lamest excuse ever for why Sarah Palin did not get invited to speak at the Republican convention.

Courtesy of the Washington Examiner:

Former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin isn't included in the official list of speakers for the Republican National Convention next week, and Donald Trump suggested in an interview that her absence is because she lives too far from the venue.

"She was asked," Trump told the Washington Examiner in a phone interview on Thursday. "It's a little bit difficult because of where she is. We love Sarah. Little bit difficult because of, you know, it's a long ways away."

Wait, so the ONLY reason that Sarah Palin is not speaking at the big GOP convention next week is that it is too far for her highness to fly?

Well it certainly was not too far for her to fly when she was endorsing Donald Trump.

Nor was it too far for her to fly to give a high school commencement speech, appear on a reboot of a 70's game show, or to show up at the Indianapolis 500.

In fact, as we have all seen, Sarah Palin will jump on a plane to get the hell out of Alaska for pretty much any reason you can think of.

So, why do we REALLY think she is not going to appear on that stage?

I wonder what lame excuse she will come up with now. Ha, ha Duh, you thought she was taking you somewhere...The joke is on you.

The only thing better that could happen today is a good result in court for the Johnstons. You know, if Bristol prevails, we will be reading about it on TMZ. How is it that Bristol can disseminate court info publicly but the Johnstons can't pursuant to the joint confidential order?

Trump finally figured out that Sarah has lost about ninety percent of her followers, including most of C4P. TheresaAK and PolarbearPapa now hate her they comment frequently on Right Scoop which i sometimes read because believe it or not they hate Trump! They are Cruz crazies but one should "Know the enemy" so i sometimes put on hip waders and venture into the sewer.

I found it interesting that they also think she is a drunk or on something.

Speaking of Duh, Bristol has a contest on her blog to vote if you like Duh's clean or scruffy look,no kidding, with pics of him. That family is making him into a total joke.

Trumps may have decided to look into Sarah's standing with vets and military. They may have figured out Track and no combat and his stolen valor. They may be rethinking Dakota and his lies and having a medal because the military won't correct their mistake and he is not deserving. More like another Chris Kyle.

Trump would look bad with all the hideous military and vet baggage Sarah has. It is waiting to 'splodie.

I don't think she was invited to speak. Seriously doubt the Trump kids are fond the Palin klan as they don't fit in on the elite stage!

Sarah doesn't have the money rolling in like she once did and flying 'private' isn't so much an option any more. Doubt Trump offered to foot her hotel and airfare bills IF he did invite her!

Poor Sarah, she's finally going down the tubes! Time to look for real work, Sarah, Todd and Bristol!

      Delete
    2. Anonymous3:35 PM

If she actually was asked, surely there was no offer to foot the bill for travel, which, yes, would have been a total smack in the face. But unless she and SarahPAC are stone broke, surely she would have tapped her own resources for a chance to be on stage like that. She clearly does jet around on her own, now that the private jet days are long gone.
So either she wasn't really asked, or SarahPAC is truly running on fumes. Trump made use of her, or thought he did, when he needed support from Tea Party twits in IA and OK. Now, too bad so sad, she sees the side of Trump that small business owners have seen for decades once Trump got what he wanted from them.
How does it feel to be out-grifted, Sarah? Our hearts ache for you.

I suspect he wanted her but cooler, relatively more sane heads prevailed. In a way he kind of owed it to her since she was the first to endorse him. But maybe I just say that because I'd love to see the hilarity of her speaking her special brand of word salad at the convention.

He most certainly DID NOT want her to be anywhere near him after she spent 20 minutes "endorsing" him in Ames, Iowa, while doing nothing but talking either about herself or spewing her talking points.

He realized at that point that damn, there wasn't room for both of their HUGE personalities together, on a ticket or inviting her to speak and then take over HIS convention.

He used her to drum up those whose bar is set even lower than his, but then he was done. Under the bus for your Mrs. Caribou. Used up and cast aside....She might have been better off continuing her endorsement of Cruz.

He then had a court date at which the court would decide what to do about the charges against him -- drop the charges, fine him, slap his ass in jail, whatever.

He has had delay after delay. If he was remanded to custody, that means he showed up for his court date, the judge looked at the evidence, and slapped him in the slammer. For how long we'll have to see.

He may have been sent to jail because the judge didn't want him running around loose until sentencing, or, it could be the judge sentenced him today.

If he was remanded prior to a resolution of the case, one of two things must have happened: he stepped out of line again, or his bail was revoked by the person who posted it.

They are so lucky that the people of Alaska are so polite and say nothing. They never have a fuss, they just let the crooks run right over them.

How long did Track go on drinking and having out bursts with his assault weapons? He may have had 20 more incidents they had to hide.

Finally something went down and they were forced to lock him up. Even the authorities were worried he could kill someone and they decided not to let him go for some reason.

If Homeland security is not giving him a pass I hope they are monitoring everything. Also his family and friend relationships that are also part of hiding and complicit with the terrorist.

He then realized she could not handle the position of VP - plus, I seriously doubt his family likes her, Todd, Bristol, Track etc. The Palins have too much garbage that would have been brought to the surface again.

She would have been the kiss of death to his campaign - which is her usual mode of operation.

Fuck her. She fucked over so many people in the same manner that The Donald fucked her that she needs to feel this, she needs to taste this dose of her very own medicine.

Her kid is back in jail, her Donald has dumped her, her serial-birthing daughter has married a PTSD-ridden alcoholic who loves guns, she's stuck with a severely retarded 8-year old, Piper is getting "boyfriends" and learning about booze and weed and her PAC probably has about "a buck o five" left in it.

Oh, and she can't sell her outdated pile in AZ, and her husband fucks anyone who's name isn't Sarah Palin.

There was some question until last night whether the Trump operation was actually going to be able to put on a convention. Until what amounted to the last minute they'd failed to put out a list of convention speakers."

    hehe

"Next is what is being described as a prime time presentation detailing former President Bill Clinton's sexual history. I'm not sure if this is meant to suggest some sort of excursion into softcore pornography or a timeline or what. But it's probably best to note that just as 'Benghazi' was the scandal that failed to win the 2012 election, Bill Clinton's sex life was the one which kept losing Republicans elections through the 1990s. Of course, this is coming from a man, Donald Trump, who has been accused of sexual assault and/or rape under oath in three separate legal proceedings by three separate women."

Because Sarah Palin has made herself into nothing more than comedy. He only wants "serious" people around him now.

An opening act, warm-up act, or supporting act is an entertainment act that performs before the featured act, or "headliner". She was supposed to "warm up" Donald's fans making them appropriately excited and enthusiastic about him at which she failed miserably judging especially by her last half empty audience. The part Sarah Palin doesn't understand is that rarely does an opening act perform again at the end of the event, or perform with the featured act. Trump used the half-baked Alaskan as entertainment and when he saw people turned off by her and only laughing at him because of her, he dropped her like hot potato. Sure, she's probably butt hurt but she's not going to do anything to offend him "just in case" he appoints her to the Liquor Cabinet. Or something. ANYthing. And without workin' for it.

It was just announced that the VP pick is Pence. Anyway, don't y'all forget that Sarah is counting on a cabinet position in the Trump Administration, right? She isn't going down just yet (unfortunately). If Trump should win, she'll probably be appointed to something-or-other. If Hillary wins, Sarah then has her fodder for next four years--schreeching about the hated Hillary. It may even allow her to reinvigorate her PAC so she can then grift until 2020. Sarah has likely had this all figured out for a good while now.

Wise up? You misunderstood my post, and I probably wasn't clear either. I wrote from Sarah's perspective. She may *think* she has an appointment in a Trump administration, but in case Hillary wins...she then has Hillary to whine about for four years....just like she's done with President Obama. Either way, she believes she'll stay relevant (even though most of us know she hasn't been for a good, long time).

Something's going on for the court to reach out and grab him almost two weeks before he goes to trial.

IndyStar Confirms: Gov. Mike Pence Is Trump’s VP Pick

....Pence is also a strong proponent of forced invasive ultrasounds for women seeking abortions, and signed a bill into law that requires miscarried or aborted fetuses to have funerals.

The measure, House Enrolled Act 1337, would make Indiana only the second state to prohibit a woman from seeking an abortion because her fetus was diagnosed with a disability such as Down syndrome. It also would prohibit abortions when they are sought based on the gender or race of a fetus, and would require the remains of miscarried or aborted fetuses to be interred or cremated.

Yes, DumKotex will storm the Mat-Su Pretrial facility but when reaching for his gun he'll realize he actually has a flask in his holster. He'll be remanded into custody with his new brother-in-law Track. They will bond over "toilet wine" and share war stories.

Todd will attempt to deploy a "big 'ole gun" and it will knock his tiny ass backwards into a wall where he is knocked out cold. He also too will be remanded into custody with the "toilet wine" duo.

Bristol will bake Track a boxed cake mix cake with a "file" inside, except said file is actually an emory board. Apparently a 6-month "skin school degree" does not cover the difference between a file and an emory board. Fail, epic fail.

Jordan will visit Track in Palmer and let him know, through the protection of glass in the visitor quarters, that her little "Cletus Fetus" is not actually his and is actually the product of her and her brother, who have a relationship much like Cersei and Jaime from Game of Thrones.

Broke And Abandoned Republicans Beg Sheldon Adelson for $6 Million For Convention

Things are so bad for Republicans that even David Koch doesn’t want to be seen funding Donald Trump.

In a letter dated July 12, for a convention that starts days away on July 18, the RNC sent a letter to billionaire Sheldon Adelson begging for 6 million dollars.

    Politico reports:

Millions of dollars short and running out of time, organizers of the Republican National Convention have written an urgent request for $6 million to Las Vegas billionaire couple Sheldon and Miriam Adelson to cover the bills for next week’s festivities.

Why? The Trump stench is so strong, even David Koch pulled his 1 million dollar pledge.

In a letter addressed to the Adelsons, obtained by POLITICO, the Cleveland 2016 Host Committee revealed the names of more than two dozen prominent corporations and individuals who have reneged on a collective $8.1 million in pledged donations.

  72. Wait a minute Gryphen, this is a valid reason. Don't you remember when Sarah was governor and Juneau was so far away that the Republican legislators were wearing "Where's Sarah" buttons?

What a slap in the face, even harder than Cher and Cage in "Moonstruck" when she yelled "Snap out of it!!" So glad the GOP has such deep benches!!

Hey, G, if you happen to be near warsiller and see this crazy lady wearing stuff from a dollar store that exploded, with a sign that reads "Will fly for free pizza" can you do us a favor? Take a photo, then sock her with a huge snowball.
