The Russian hackers continue working to help the Donald Trump campaign.

Courtesy of Politico:

The alleged personal cell phone numbers and email addresses of nearly all Democrats in the House of Representatives have been released by the Russia-linked hacker that took credit for the digital break-ins of multiple Democratic organizations.

The dump came as part of a large release late Friday of documents allegedly stolen from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which acknowledged last month that it had been hacked. Other leaked documents include campaign overviews of specific House races, DCCC event memos and committee passwords.

A hacker going by the name “Guccifer 2.0” — who claims to be behind the DCCC digital assault, as well as an intrusion at the Democratic National Committee — released the information.

The article goes on to reveal that researchers are convinced that Guccifer 2.0 has ties to Russian military intelligence.

Those are Putin's people.

If this were being done by some shadowy group it could be chalked off to hi-jinks or simply a group trying to spread general anarchy.

But when the Russian government does it there is going to be a real definite purpose behind their actions.

Publishing this personal information from Democrats in the House causes mayhem, disrupts reelection campaigns, and causes the Dems to focus on something other than working together.

This only benefits Donald Trump and the Republican party.

There can no longer be any doubt that the Russians are working to help to get Donald Trump elected and help Republicans gain more power in this country.

Now imagine the response by the conservative media if that were found to be true on the other side of the aisle.

Are we not capable of hacking Russia and turning off the lights in Moscow? I sure wish the fuck we would. This is our government under Russian assault.

    1. Anonymous9:29 AM

Consider this, turning off the lights in any country is an act of war.

    2. Anonymous9:50 AM

Viceland has a new show called "Cyberwars" that basically shows that all major world governments are hacking each other.

    3. Anonymous10:08 AM

America has more at stake if the US did it then Russua doing it

    4. Anonymous12:40 PM

Well they need to find the monies the USA never gave back and all the investments since...paybacks a bitch! so sad too bad!

Is it a coincidence that almost immediately after Berniebros hacked the DNC, the Russians were able to hack them as well? I think not.

    1. Anonymous9:47 AM

Back in 2015 the Sander's campaign was accused of using a software glitch to access DNC database info that they did not want him to have access to.

In July the Russians hacked the DNC computers and gave us the leaked emails which cost Wasserman-Schultz her job.

Yesterday Guccifer hacked the DCCC, providing the congressional phone numbers.

Three totally unique episodes. The Sander's campaign didn't "hack" anything, they just were able to get places in the DNC database that DWC did not want them to, and for reasons that we now understand after the emails were made available by the Russians.

The Russians and Guccifer actually hacked into the DNC and DCCC networks.

The congressional phone number leak was unnecessary however, the Russians did us a great service by providing the emails showing DNC malfeasance and getting DWS out of a position she never should have held.

The Sander's campaign computer breach has zero in common with the two Russian hacks.

    2. Anonymous10:48 AM

The many of the hacks, said to be released soon, occured before Trump was a viable candidate for the Republican nomination.

    3. Anonymous11:16 AM

9:47 is correct. The Sanders campaign didn't hack anything. When they logged onto the DNC voter system, they had access to the Clinton campaign's data. 3 Sanders staff people looked at the Clinton data, one of whom was a data specialist recommended to the Sanders campaign by none other than DWS. Only a fool, or a drunk-on-the-koolaid-Clintonite, would not recognize the "breach" for the entrapment scheme it was. Evidenced by the Sanders campaign's swift and forceful pushback.

    4. Anonymous2:02 PM

And Bernie is still being blamed for it.

The dump also includes GOP folks who are very anti Putin, so it isn'the very likely the Bernie Bros and Russians are in bed together... sheesh.

  5. Anonymous9:23 AM

I'm pretty sure this is somehow Bernie Sanders fault.
    He did this.

    1. Anonymous11:10 AM

      And there it is.

    2. Anonymous11:34 AM

Yeah, Sanders: just another Putin stooge. :p

    3. Anonymous2:02 PM

      Fuck you.

  6. Anonymous9:24 AM

Russia, if you're listening, you are not going to get our country. We will fight you sneaky fuckers to the death. Now back off. And Jullian Assange and Edward Snowden can go fuck themselves too. Donald will not be our president no matter what shit you have in your hands. We know Hillary isn't perfect but we also know that Donald is trying to hand our country to you on a silver platter to pay his debts, or whatever, and this will not fly with us Americans. We may be lax a bit but threaten our homeland security, and we'll beat your conniving ass!!!!

    1. Anonymous12:03 PM

      Uh, crazy much 9:24?

    2. Anonymous12:25 PM

Woo hoo! Join the army to go fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here.

    3. Anonymous12:54 PM

You do realize that the Department of Homeland Security is also the governmental agency that deals with hacking and security breaches, right? So technically they are already on the job as our "homeland security" has been breached.

But hey, you do seem passionate about Russia and the cold war that's been over since 1989, so you go girl!

    4. Anonymous1:42 PM

No, not crazy much. But no matter how much people suspect that Donald is in cohorts with Putin and his cronies, no one seems to get riled up. Lol. Just trying to rile us up. The republicans on fox news always get riled up, why can't we?

    5. Anonymous12:44 PM

The person that made Palin resign is RUSSIA!
And that one busted the Catholic Church too!
Not running a popularity contest either...
      So choke on that AmeriKKKan's....

  7. Anonymous9:28 AM

Some of the 'few' folks surrounding Trump as to his campaign are Russian due to Trump supposedly having always been interested in Russia and its history.

So, can we connect Trump w/Putin and their working together in 'hacking' the Democrats?

I wouldn't put anything past Trump! I so hope that Hillary Clinton does win this upcoming election!

    1. Anonymous10:41 AM

      Don't hope - VOTE!

    2. Anonymous12:27 PM

But I thought, according to Morning Schmoe, that Bill Clinton talked Trump into running as a Republican for President and then throwing the election so Hillary could win. Now I'm confused. Is it the Russians or was it Bill? /s

    3. Anonymous6:09 PM

      Vote Trump!

  10. Anonymous9:50 AM

So Palin took her AZ compound off the market without a sale again. Hahahaha.

    1. Anonymous10:36 AM

I'll bet more negative karma is going to be incoming throughout the rest of Sarah and Todd Palin's lives! (i.e. it's obvious it's already begun with Todd's 'accident' and their not being able to sell the house in AZ at the price they think warranted. Also, look at the lives their oldest two children (now adults - Track and Bristol) are experiencing!

Everyone has consequences due to their past actions! Especially when one lives life doing horrible things to others, their community, their state and country!

    2. Anonymous12:15 PM

Also, not much $$ left in ScarahPAC. Gravy train is over for the grifter.

    3. Anonymous12:57 PM

Vladimir Putin Just Made A MASSIVE Donald Trump Announcement!

Putin sees how weak and pathetic the American president is, which is why he just made a big announcement: Vladimir Putin endorses Donald Trump for President!

    From a recent press conference…

Russian President Vladimir Putin had kind words for his “stablemate” Donald Trump during an annual end-of-the-year Q&A session in Moscow.

“[Donald Trump is] a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt,” [Vladimir] Putin told reporters, according to a translation by Interfax. “It’s not our job to judge his qualities, that’s a job for American voters, but he’s the absolute leader in the presidential race.”
The GOP frontrunner has been blunt about his plans for defrosting U.S. relations with Russia should he be elected president.

    1. Anonymous2:04 PM

That isn't going to help Trump. It will do the exact opposite.

  12. Anonymous10:10 AM

No coinky-dink Palin ties to Russia and prostitution. Whatever happened to Bristol's BFF Russian hooker? Oh, excuse me...."exotic."

    1. Anonymous12:59 PM

My guess is that she disappeared because no one wanted to purchase a calendar containing naked photos of a fat chick. Just a thought, but pretty sure I'm correct. "Chubby chasers" are a rather niche market.

    2. Anonymous2:05 PM

I can't imagine what Marina Lupas sees when she looks in the mirror- it's certainly not what the rest of us see.

Now that Bristol has stopped pretending she has some hard ass job in Anchorage with Marina (and they live 50 miles apart) that they're not so close any more. Bristol Palin has never been good at keeping friends, I suppose sooner or later everyone sees how nasty she is.

  13. Anonymous10:14 AM

Trump headed to Connecticut believing he can win there is like Palin booking a ticket today an heading to Michigan believing she can win there 8 frigging years later.

BTW, the Urinal thinks Palin watching the Olympics makes her a great patriot. LOL! No, she has nothing better to do.

    1. Anonymous2:00 PM

Palin is simply on the lookout for any Far Right angles which she will then post to all her social media for money.

Because she's such a hard-working patriotic servant heart...

What do you mean I exaggerated again?

    Washington Post
No, Putin did not call Donald Trump ‘a genius’

    By Glenn Kessler
    Fact Checker May 3“.

I think he [Russian President Vladimir Putin] said some really nice things. He called me a genius. He said Trump’s a genius. Okay. So, you know, that’s nice.”

—Donald Trump, interview with Bill O’Reilly, April 28, 2016

Donald Trump, the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination, has reveled in what he considers high praise from Russian President Vladimir Putin. He likes to claim, in fact, that Putin called him “a genius.”

For instance, during a campaign event in South Carolina in February, Trump noted that Putin “called me a genius” and expressed hope that would mean better relations between Russia and the United States. “I’m not disavowing that [Putin] called me a genius. Are you crazy?” he said. “Wouldn’t it be good if we actually got along with countries, wouldn’t it be a positive thing? Do we always have to fight?”

Trump brought up Putin’s supposed praise again recently in an interview on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor.” “He called me a genius,” Trump bragged. But not surprisingly, a little research shows that Putin said no such thing.

    Let’s investigate.

    The Facts

After Putin’s annual news conference in December, he was cornered by a reporter for ABC News and asked what he thought of Trump. You can see the images were captured on what appears to be an iPhone. Here’s how ABC News translated his remarks:

“He’s a very colorful person. Talented, without any doubt, but it’s not our affair to determine his worthiness — that’s up to the United States voters. But he is absolutely the leader in the presidential race.”

Russian is notoriously complex to translate into English, so various news organizations rendered the quote in slightly different ways. Here’s how our colleague Andrew Roth cast the first part of the quote: “He’s a very lively man, talented without doubt.”

At the New York Times, the quote appeared as: “He is a very flamboyant man, very talented, no doubt about that.”

Hmmm, flamboyant, very lively, very colorful … none of that sounds anything like “genius.”

But there was also a translation offered by Interfax, a Russian nongovernmental news agency. In a tweet, the news agency appeared to say Trump “is a very bright and talented man and the absolute leader of the presidential race.” (At least that’s how the tweet was translated by Bing.) A handful of news reports went further and said he called Trump “very brilliant.”....

We can find no examples of a news report saying Putin called Trump a “genius.”

As usual, the Trump campaign did not respond to a request for evidence to back up Trump’s claim. But Trump appears to have stretched a mistranslation into something far afield from its actual meaning.

    The Pinocchio Test

It shouldn’t surprise us that Trump has exaggerated “bright” into “genius.” But in reality, that’s not what Putin meant at all.

Instead, the Russian president said he regarded Trump as a “colorful” figure, which is not the same thing as someone with a 140 IQ.

No doubt about that. A colorful person may earn lots of Pinocchios; a genius does not.

Colorful would be the equivalent of eccentric if you have lots of money and crazy if you are homeless.

"what’s truly disturbing is the prospect of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, each an exemplar of thuggish ultra-nationalism, joining hands and merrily dragging the rest of us down the lane to a kleptocratic, even fascist hell. And in the end, it’s all about the money."
"this kind of mix of ignorance, grifters and disorganization is the kind of seed bed where influence operations and malign influence tend to thrive and take root. We’ve seen more than enough to know this knot of connections requires deep scrutiny, extreme vetting as Trump might say. This is no joke.”

But most important, follow the money.
"he is conspicuously solicitous of Russian foreign policy priorities.”
"Times reporter Mike McIntire wrote that one of the associates at Bayrock, the development company behind the Trump project, “brokered a $50 million investment in Trump SoHo and three other Bayrock projects by an Icelandic firm preferred by wealthy Russians ‘in favor with’ President Vladimir V. Putin, according to a lawsuit against Bayrock by one of its former executives.”
"Trump’s financial empire is heavily leveraged and has a deep reliance on capital infusions from oligarchs and other sources of wealth aligned with Putin. That’s simply not something that can be waved off or ignored.”" a fool whose entire worldview seems equivalent to that of the blowhard at the local tavern whose total knowledge comes from something he heard from a guy once."

And THAT GUY was in his OWN HEAD most of the time.....

I thought he never met "THAT GUY."
