The Russian hackers continue working to help the Donald Trump campaign.

Courtesy of Politico:

The alleged personal cell phone numbers and email addresses of nearly all Democrats in the House of Representatives have been released by the Russia-linked hacker that took credit for the digital break-ins of multiple Democratic organizations.

The dump came as part of a large release late Friday of documents allegedly stolen from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which acknowledged last month that it had been hacked. Other leaked documents include campaign overviews of specific House races, DCCC event memos and committee passwords.

A hacker going by the name “Guccifer 2.0” — who claims to be behind the DCCC digital assault, as well as an intrusion at the Democratic National Committee — released the information.

The article goes on to reveal that researchers are convinced that Guccifer 2.0 has ties to Russian military intelligence.

Those are Putin's people.

If this were being done by some shadowy group it could be chalked off to hi-jinks or simply a group trying to spread general anarchy.

But when the Russian government does it there is going to be a real definite purpose behind their actions.

Publishing this personal information from Democrats in the House causes mayhem, disrupts reelection campaigns, and causes the Dems to focus on something other than working together.

This only benefits Donald Trump and the Republican party.

There can no longer be any doubt that the Russians are working to help to get Donald Trump elected and help Republicans gain more power in this country.

Now imagine the response by the conservative media if that were found to be true on the other side of the aisle.

Are we not capable of hacking Russia and turning off the lights in Moscow? I sure wish the fuck we would. This is our government under Russian assault.

Is it a coincidence that almost immediately after Berniebros hacked the DNC, the Russians were able to hack them as well? I think not.

Back in 2015 the Sander's campaign was accused of using a software glitch to access DNC database info that they did not want him to have access to.

In July the Russians hacked the DNC computers and gave us the leaked emails which cost Wasserman-Schultz her job.

Yesterday Guccifer hacked the DCCC, providing the congressional phone numbers.

Three totally unique episodes. The Sander's campaign didn't "hack" anything, they just were able to get places in the DNC database that DWC did not want them to, and for reasons that we now understand after the emails were made available by the Russians.

The Russians and Guccifer actually hacked into the DNC and DCCC networks.

The congressional phone number leak was unnecessary however, the Russians did us a great service by providing the emails showing DNC malfeasance and getting DWS out of a position she never should have held.

The Sander's campaign computer breach has zero in common with the two Russian hacks.

The many of the hacks, said to be released soon, occured before Trump was a viable candidate for the Republican nomination.

9:47 is correct. The Sanders campaign didn't hack anything. When they logged onto the DNC voter system, they had access to the Clinton campaign's data. 3 Sanders staff people looked at the Clinton data, one of whom was a data specialist recommended to the Sanders campaign by none other than DWS. Only a fool, or a drunk-on-the-koolaid-Clintonite, would not recognize the "breach" for the entrapment scheme it was. Evidenced by the Sanders campaign's swift and forceful pushback.

We may be lax a bit but threaten our homeland security, and we'll beat your conniving ass!!!!

Vladimir Putin Just Made A MASSIVE Donald Trump Announcement!

Putin sees how weak and pathetic the American president is, which is why he just made a big announcement: Vladimir Putin endorses Donald Trump for President!

    From a recent press conference…

Russian President Vladimir Putin had kind words for his “stablemate” Donald Trump during an annual end-of-the-year Q&A session in Moscow.

“[Donald Trump is] a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt,” [Vladimir] Putin told reporters, according to a translation by Interfax. “It’s not our job to judge his qualities, that’s a job for American voters, but he’s the absolute leader in the presidential race.”
The GOP frontrunner has been blunt about his plans for defrosting U.S. relations with Russia should he be elected president.

YES HE CALLED ME A GENIUS.

What do you mean I exaggerated again?

    Washington Post
No, Putin did not call Donald Trump ‘a genius’

    By Glenn Kessler
    Fact Checker May 3“.

I think he [Russian President Vladimir Putin] said some really nice things. He called me a genius. He said Trump’s a genius. Okay. So, you know, that’s nice.”

—Donald Trump, interview with Bill O’Reilly, April 28, 2016

Donald Trump, the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination, has reveled in what he considers high praise from Russian President Vladimir Putin. He likes to claim, in fact, that Putin called him “a genius.”

For instance, during a campaign event in South Carolina in February, Trump noted that Putin “called me a genius” and expressed hope that would mean better relations between Russia and the United States. “I’m not disavowing that [Putin] called me a genius. Are you crazy?” he said. “Wouldn’t it be good if we actually got along with countries, wouldn’t it be a positive thing? Do we always have to fight?”

Trump brought up Putin’s supposed praise again recently in an interview on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor.” “He called me a genius,” Trump bragged. But not surprisingly, a little research shows that Putin said no such thing.

    Let’s investigate.

    The Facts

After Putin’s annual news conference in December, he was cornered by a reporter for ABC News and asked what he thought of Trump. You can see the images were captured on what appears to be an iPhone. Here’s how ABC News translated his remarks:

“He’s a very colorful person. Talented, without any doubt, but it’s not our affair to determine his worthiness — that’s up to the United States voters. But he is absolutely the leader in the presidential race.”

Russian is notoriously complex to translate into English, so various news organizations rendered the quote in slightly different ways. Here’s how our colleague Andrew Roth cast the first part of the quote: “He’s a very lively man, talented without doubt.”

At the New York Times, the quote appeared as: “He is a very flamboyant man, very talented, no doubt about that.”

Hmmm, flamboyant, very lively, very colorful … none of that sounds anything like “genius.”

But there was also a translation offered by Interfax, a Russian nongovernmental news agency. In a tweet, the news agency appeared to say Trump “is a very bright and talented man and the absolute leader of the presidential race.” (At least that’s how the tweet was translated by Bing.) A handful of news reports went further and said he called Trump “very brilliant.”....

We can find no examples of a news report saying Putin called Trump a “genius.”

As usual, the Trump campaign did not respond to a request for evidence to back up Trump’s claim. But Trump appears to have stretched a mistranslation into something far afield from its actual meaning.

    The Pinocchio Test

It shouldn’t surprise us that Trump has exaggerated “bright” into “genius.” But in reality, that’s not what Putin meant at all.

Instead, the Russian president said he regarded Trump as a “colorful” figure, which is not the same thing as someone with a 140 IQ.

No doubt about that. A colorful person may earn lots of Pinocchios; a genius does not.

    Four Pinocchios

"this kind of mix of ignorance, grifters and disorganization is the kind of seed bed where influence operations and malign influence tend to thrive and take root. We’ve seen more than enough to know this knot of connections requires deep scrutiny, extreme vetting as Trump might say. This is no joke.”

But most important, follow the money.
"he is conspicuously solicitous of Russian foreign policy priorities.”
"Times reporter Mike McIntire wrote that one of the associates at Bayrock, the development company behind the Trump project, “brokered a $50 million investment in Trump SoHo and three other Bayrock projects by an Icelandic firm preferred by wealthy Russians ‘in favor with’ President Vladimir V. Putin, according to a lawsuit against Bayrock by one of its former executives.”
"Trump’s financial empire is heavily leveraged and has a deep reliance on capital infusions from oligarchs and other sources of wealth aligned with Putin. That’s simply not something that can be waved off or ignored.”" a fool whose entire worldview seems equivalent to that of the blowhard at the local tavern whose total knowledge comes from something he heard from a guy once."
