Much to the frustration of the Right Wing, members of the military and vets come out in support of Colin Kaepernick's decision not to stand for the national anthem.

I am sure that most of you remember that Sarah Palin damn near pulled a brain hamstring in anger over the fact that the 49ers quarter back did not stand up during the national anthem.

In her barely coherent words:

America - let's sack this ungrateful punk. Kaepernick - yeah, you're really "down with the oppressed" in this nation. Enjoying your $114 million contract, your previous adoring fans, sucking up a life of luxury... GOD AND COUNTRY GAVE YOU THIS OPPORTUNITY. You can't acknowledge that? Then on behalf of every Vet I'm privileged to know: GET THE HELL OUT.

Well as it turns out, despite what she might tell her supporters, Palin does not speak for entire country nor for ALL members of the military.

There are many more which you can find here.

I find it interesting that Dakota's response was much closer to the way these other military members saw the issue:

That flag stands for freedom and has nothing to do with the issue he is trying to portray. But, if he feels this is something he has to do, he should rock on. Because that’s what freedom is all about.

Perhaps she should take her cues from him before she goes off half cocked in the future.

This is Dakota Meyer's issue, he started before Sarah and Bristol. They are also on the bandwagon. It ties in with their problems with BLM.

Dakota Meyer is so intent on the police/police brutality he is going to be assisting police and agencies when they are getting the victims that are being transported as slaves.

Finally, Track Palin's lack of combat experience is being discussed openly by news outlets.

Lack of combat is one thing. Was the whole or part of the deal with Ak National Guard a fraud?

Now these idiots can say they are patriotic, but if they don't like someone they are not

These men are the absolute best.

But I'm reminded of Palin's embarrassing "attack" on Elizabeth Warren a few years ago (remember the Sarah Palin channel? Blechgagrff) Palin couldn't grasp why liberals were fighting for fast food workers' rights to a living wage-- aren't all libtards a bunch of vegetarian greenies, anyway?? It didn't make sense to her.

This is the same thing. Her limited, childlike mind can't reason why a millionaire like Kaepernick is getting his jock strap in a twitch over the (alleged) injustices suffered by lower class blahs.

I think she's basically just ADHD with a touch of Tourette's and she simply CANNOT bear to waste a "good line", even if it flies in the face of facts or reason or sanity or is contrary to other things she's said or claims she stands for.

Let's face it; Sarah is basically Ann Coulter with no writing skills. "Hey, look at me everyone, I'm a hateful bitch!"

There really is nothing patriotic about our national anthem. It is a poem about one battle set to a stolen melody. It's a war song full of hubris.

At it's fairly unsingable by an untrained general population, having a range of a tenth.

If they really wanted a song that represented our country, they would have used America; "Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, etc." But that isn't a war song and to top it off, it was written by a WOMAN.

      Delete
    2. Anonymous8:06 PM

Francis Scott Key was on a British boat begging for the release of one of his friends, a doctor named William Beanes. Key was on the boat waiting to see if the British would release his friend when he observed the bloody battle of Fort McHenry in Baltimore on Sept. 13, 1815. America lost the battle but managed to inflict heavy casualties on the British in the process. This inspired Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner” right then and there, but no one remembers that he wrote a full third stanza decrying the former slaves who were now working for the British army:

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore,
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a Country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

In other words, Key was saying that the blood of all the former slaves and “hirelings” on the battlefield will wash away the pollution of the British invaders. With Key still bitter that some black soldiers got the best of him a few weeks earlier, “The Star-Spangled Banner” is as much a patriotic song as it is a diss track to black people who had the audacity to fight for their freedom. Perhaps that’s why it took almost 100 years for the song to become the national anthem.

Sarah is all about keeping up appearances. Fake patriotism, big flags, and touting her own horn about freedoms and exceptionalism, all the time, ad nauseum. Yet, never once, does she show true exceptionalism in her character. She rides on the tails of the heroes and winners and rahrahrah, touting them as her friends, where she lives precariously through their service to their country. She never offered herself, but brands herself as a warrior's mom, but that old meme is getting so tiring.

She should stop speaking on behalf of people she knows absolutely nothing about and stop grifting off of them.

Sarah Palin does one thing for publicity. Attack. Complain, whine, and attack some more. But where is she? Does she advocate for those without a voice? Is she working with vets for vets? Where is she during "Wounded Warriors" trips? Or are there not enough cameras around?

Kaepernick is disgusted with the systemic brutal and unfair incidents that have come to represent our law and police force.

He has every right to protest.

Sarah Palin is a failed sportscaster who went on to fail at everything else. She is also a quitter. That is what she thought about her role in the military.

    Fake "combat mother".

'When presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain introduced Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate last Friday, the Arizona senator emphasized her role as the commander in chief of the Alaska National Guard.Later, when questions were raised about Palin's lack of experience in national and international affairs, the McCain campaign pointed again to her military command experience as governor. Some reporters have tried to follow up."

Question: What is America's first line of missile interceptor defense that protects the entire United States?
Answer: 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard.
Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.

As everyone knows, she just quit. No truthful explanation. How could anyone be more disrespectful of the military and postiions of power and the public they are to serve than a sudden quitting? No full exclosure of what it is really about?

Sarah Palin should be exempt for any of her rhetoric on anything patriotic or military until she comes clean. From her tenure as Commander in Chief, first line of defense for nation, she owes big apology to Alaska and nation.

Sarah Palin takes to Facebook to defend Alaska National Guard program and attack the President. Oddly enough not a whisper about the recent sex scandal.

Kaepernick just happens to be in the news due to this free speech controversy. He's entitled to his views, but unfortunately that makes him a convenient target for Sarah and others like her.

Old John McCain was forced to pick Sarah as his VP, when he really wanted Joe Lieberman. In her gratitude, Sarah turned (like a rabid dog) on the mainstream GOP that brought her (an uneducated, lazy, sociopathic publicity whore) to the party.
