First off Hillary Clinton did not get sick in a vacuum.
Courtesy of People:
The illness that sickened Hillary Clinton with pneumonia and caused her to have to be escorted away from September 11 ceremonies in New York on Sunday also struck down several members of her campaign team at Clinton headquarters in Brooklyn, PEOPLE has learned.
"Everyone's been sick," a campaign source tells PEOPLE.
At the end of August, two weeks before Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia, a debilitating bug was making the rounds among staff at her headquarters and campaign aides who travel with Clinton, a source tells PEOPLE.
Secondly Hillary is not the first presidential candidate to campaign with pneumonia.
Courtesy of Garnet News:
Hillary Clinton is not the only candidate to experience this illness. In 2004 John Kerry also developed “walking pneumonia.”
From an email he wrote to the New York Times in 2008, “I remember on the bus in Iowa, my staff thought I’d broken a rib from coughing because my walking pneumonia was so bad.”
Do you remember how the press freaked out about Kerry's illness, and claimed that campaign was over and he needed to be replaced at the top of the ticket?
No you don't. And that it because John Kerry was a man, and Hillary is held to a completely different and unfair standard.
You can deny it if you want, but the evidence is overwhelming.
And speaking of different standards:
For 18 months, Republican strategists, political pundits, reporters and Americans who follow them have been pursuing Hillary Clinton’s personal email habits, and no evidence of a crime has been found. But now they at least have the skills and interest to focus on a much larger and deeper email conspiracy, one involving war, lies, a private server run by the Republican Party and contempt of Congress citations—all of it still unsolved and unpunished.
Clinton’s email habits look positively transparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons.
Like Clinton, the Bush White House used a private email server—its was owned by the Republican National Committee. And the Bush administration failed to store its emails, as required by law, and then refused to comply with a congressional subpoena seeking some of those emails.
So was the Bush administration the focus of numerous Congressional investigations, culminating with the former president being called to testify as to why he and his staff destroyed evidence and defied the law?
No.
Why not?
Because they are Republicans and fuck you, that's why not!
Remember Republicans do not believe in accountability unless it has to do with the Democrats. And that goes triple if their first name is "Hillary."
Can we have more posts like these and fewer posts with screenshots of some mean teens attacking Bristol? Just askin'.
ReplyDeleteStart your own blog. Or try ignoring posts you don't want to read.
DeleteGryphen and his flying monkeys have to attack anyone who even politely offers constructive criticism.
DeleteLately there have been a useful abundance of election related postings, so enjoy.
DeleteOh come on, Bristol needs the attention desperately, poor thing.
DeleteThat picture makes it look like she is having another one of her seizures triggered by looking at penis thumb.
ReplyDeleteProve she has seizures.
DeleteShe wears anti seizure glasses.
DeleteWore. Not wears. Wore. How many years ago?
DeleteSunday, 0.005 years ago she wore anti seizure glasses.
Delete225, I believe what you are referring to are SUNGLASSES. Is it painful to be so dumb?
DeleteYes, you do mean THESE sunglasses 4:39?
Deletehttps://videogameseizures.wordpress.com/tag/z1-f133/
You're a fucking idiot.
DeleteFor gods sake - there is NO such thing as anti-seizure glasses. JFC - seizures are triggered in the brain, not in the eyes!
DeleteHer glasses were for the aftermath of the concussion - likely prism glasses to correct her sight, which is now normal.
Believe me - IF she were having seizures the whole world would know it - and talk about it in the news everyday, without let up. She has never had a seizure.
She does not like to drink water, per those who surround her. All she needs to do is drink fluids and she wouldn't have any dizzy spells. Dehydration - period. Ask anyone who suffers from it. Drink!

DeleteI dislike Trump more tban I can express, and KNOW he would be bad for the country. However, I also don't like Hilary. I do think the media is doing their job with either candidate, and need to get their head out of their hind parts, and be tough on both candidstes. Neither has felt the true weight of the media, as it should be.
DeleteHit me last month. Nasty stuff.
ReplyDeleteMay have it now : Dr. appt.tomorrow.
DeleteThe House Judiciary Committee Democrats urged the Department of Justice to investigate the Trump Foundation donations to Florida A.G. Pam Bondi Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteCiting the concern of several editorial boards – including the Tampa Bay Times, the Sun Sentinel, and the Washington Post – that have called for the feds to investigate the Trump-Bondi connection, House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) wrote a letter requesting that DOJ Attorney General Loretta Lynch investigate “allegations of bribery and other criminal misconduct concerning the $25,000 donation from the Donald J. Trump Foundation to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.”
The letter, signed by every Democratic member of the House Judiciary Committee, read in part “…It has been reported that Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi personally solicited a political contribution from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump while her office deliberated joining an investigation of fraud at Trump University.”
“…After receiving these funds, Mrs. Bondi declined to further investigate Mr. Trump’s business interests. This fact pattern indicates that these payments may have influenced Mrs. Bondi’s official decision not to participate in litigation against Mr. Trump. A number of criminal statutes would appear to be implicated by this course of conduct.”

ReplyDeleteCoverage of Hillary Clinton during this campaign has been stomach churning. Ridiculous standards few human beings could meet are set and then when Clinton delivers, the goal posts are moved so that she still fails. Each day, talking heads and keyboard hacks who could never measure up to the standards they set, lay in wait to judge every little thing about Clinton as if she is prey. It isn’t her proposed policies they judge. It isn’t her actual record. It is her value as a human being that gets ripped to shreds on a daily basis.
She can’t speak right. Her hand gestures are suspicious. She doesn’t smile enough or she smiles the wrong way. She can’t take bathroom breaks right. She can’t dress right. She isn’t authentic enough. When she authentically jokes around, she has a debilitating disease. She isn’t accessible enough to the media. When she is accessible, she must be desperate. She made a mistake, she should own up to it. She owns up to mistakes and she is a failure.
Her guilt is decided in advance and all eyes watch until the tiniest misstep — real or perceived — validates them.
Unlike any male candidate, ever, she is forced to bare her soul again and again and again. Her life is an open book but that still isn’t enough. She is holding back from us. She must be. If the media can’t find something, it will just cherry pick information and make it up. Issues don’t matter. Policies don’t matter. Substance doesn’t matter. It is all about the “optics” of a moment in time.
It is relentless.
It is exhausting.
It is abusive.

I would love to see every white, male Republican holding office in our U.S. Congress experience the same kind of scrutiny Hillary Clinton has throughout the years. They would whine and cry as no other!
DeleteHillary Clinton is so damned strong and a woman I totally respect. Fuck those assholes, Hillary, and get well soon!
We can hardly wait to see you take your oath as our next POTUS in January, 2017!
Boy, if that isn't the truth!
DeleteEvery women recognizes what is being done to Hillary, as we've all experienced it in some form ourselves. I hope this means Hillary can count on a solid block of female voters.
DeleteImagine if the roles were reversed: If we had a female Trump and a male Hillary Clinton, Ms. Trump would have been laughed out of the arena long ago as completely unprepared and we'd all be talking about what a wonderful candidate we have in Hillary Clinton.
Even this week's New Yorker, which is a media outlet that I normally admire very much and have for decades, won't let up on Hillary Clinton. Their first "Talk of the Town" item is about Clinton's pneumonia and twice, once in the body of the article and in the last paragraph, there is the whining repetition that people don't trust her.
DeleteWas Clinton supposed to predict that her doctor would tell her Friday that the persistent cough was pneumonia? And then, was she supposed to spend Saturday meeting with the press to spread the word that she had pneumonia? Good grief! Of course many people who rely on Fox News and almost any other news outlet still don't trust her because the media keeps telling them not to at every opportunity. All the while ignoring Trump's lies, distortions and crazy behavior.
The candidate I don't trust is Donald Trump. Nor do I trust any other Republicans, no matter how much sheep's clothing they wear. And I don't trust the US media either, and now that sadly includes The New Yorker until the magazine proves that it has what it takes to treat Hillary Clinton properly.
Beaglemom
President Obama appeared for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia, giving the kind of barnburner speech that he's best at, making the case for an optimistic campaign for America's future. In his usual discussion of the strengths of Clinton and how Trump disqualifies himself on a daily basis, Obama was most forceful in calling out the traditional media: "We can not afford suddenly to treat this like a reality show. We can't afford to act as if there's some equivalence here."
ReplyDeleteHe railed, as much as Obama rails, at the professional media for the "frivolous stuff that gets covered everyday." He directly addressed the "guys in the back," saying, "I'm just telling you the truth about how I feel about this. Do you mind if I just vent for a second?" Then he unloaded: "You know, you don't grade the presidency on a curve. This is serious business."

‘Deplorables': Can the media ever get it right?
ReplyDelete...From Clinton’s perspective, this is hardly a gaffe. It is more like a home run. If the story of the day or week involves debating whether 15 or 50 percent of Trump’s supporters are racists and reiterating his association with white nationalists, that is a win for Clinton. Those who find themselves in agreement with the same positions and loyalties as David Duke might want to reconsider their positions and loyalties.
Trump and running mate Mike Pence can save their crocodile tears and feigned outrage. Trump has spent over a year painting groups with a broad brush and swatting away critics as too “politically correct.” He does not like his followers being held guilty by association with him? Maybe he should consider abjectly apologizing for each of his outrageous smears, insults and stereotypes. If not, his apologists should be called out for defending a candidate who holds such noxious views. He can stomp his foot all he likes, but it is about time someone starting holding him and his defenders accountable. If they don’t like what they see in the mirror, it is not Clinton’s fault for calling attention to the ugly spectacle on the right.

Trump releases no tax returns, zero medical records. But Hillary's got a 'transparency problem'?
ReplyDeleteIf I were Hillary Clinton I would NOT release one more piece of my personal documentation and tell Trump that WHEN and IF he provides us his tax returns and health records, that she will do so too (although I feel she has already provided way too much info!).
DeleteVote Hillary Clinton who is our only clear choice for POTUS!
Trump's campaign shill, er, manager has been beating on Hillary to release more medical records, but sudden she's done an about face and is saying that Trump deserves his privacy and shouldn't have to release anything.
DeleteTo me this is red flag that he's HIDING SOMETHING. He must have told her something and now she's trying to walk back. Notice how they are not attacking Hillary for getting sick? It's all Mr. Nice and hope she gets better soon.
HE'S HIDING SOMETHING.
Get this, he's going on Dr Oz to speak about his health. No joke, folks, and Oz already said he wouldn't ask him anything he'd feel uncomfortable answering. The entertainer going on a fake doctor's show, pathetic
DeleteRecognize that statins and a daily aspirin are not run-of-the-mill additions for good health.
DeleteTrumps admits to being on both of those and they are prescribed for heart issues.
I watched Obama's entire speech today. I wanted to cry thinking that I will not be hearing this incredibly gifted, caring, passionate, articulate, loving and inspiring leader as President for much longer. Trump isn't fit or qualified to shine Obama's shoes.
ReplyDeleteThank God for YouTube 😊
DeleteI noticed that some of the cable networks did not show coverage of President Obama's speech. They are the same ones constantly spreading all the crap about Hillary Clinton!
DeleteCorporate owned, of course! By Republicans!
Vote Hillary Clinton!
Geez, he's not going to die after Hillary is sworn in.
DeleteI'm sure he'll go on to other things and we'll still be hearing from him. Maybe even more so once he isn't President. He'll have most of the clout and none of the restrictions.
Political reporters were taken aback by Hillary Clinton’s charge that half of Trump’s supporters are prejudiced. Few bothered to investigate the claim itself.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/09/they-are-all-breitbart-now/499511/
That's because they have been for investigating and reporting it a year and she just repeated what they already knew.
DeleteThe Republicans are one sick bunch in our U.S. Congress. Their constant demeaning of Hillary Clinton will do nothing more than assure she will be elected POTUS!
ReplyDeleteThey are in huge trouble with Donald Trump and they know it!
Hillary Clinton has my vote and I can hardly wait to cast it for her as our next POTUS!
Get well soon, Mrs. Clinton!
538 still has her at 69% of the electoral college.
DeleteTrump will never catch up.
She could take a month off and still be ahead. POTUS'S speech was fantastic.
DeleteTHIS IS WHY TRAMP
ReplyDeleteWON'T SHOW HIS TAXES
Washington Post
... The last time information from Donald Trump’s income-tax returns was made public, the bottom line was striking: He had paid the federal government $0 in income taxes.
The disclosure, in a 1981 report by New Jersey gambling regulators, revealed that the wealthy Manhattan investor had for at least two years in the late 1970s taken advantage of a tax-code provision popular with developers that allowed him to report negative income.
Today, as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Trump regularly denounces corporate executives for using loopholes and “false deductions” to “get away with murder” when it comes to avoiding taxes.
“They make a fortune. They pay no tax,” Trump said last year on CBS. “It’s ridiculous, okay?”
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trumps-income-tax-returns-once-became-public-they-showed-he-didnt-pay-a-cent/2016/05/20/ffa2f63c-1b7c-11e6-b6e0-c53b7ef63b45_story.html
Exactly.
DeleteIf you want to know what Trump is hiding you need only look at what he accuses others of doing. Look at his criticism and you'll know what he is doing.
Was that a Freudian slip? ;)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Just beautiful.
DeleteAwesome! Thanks omomma.
DeleteI bet he does. I remember a portly uncle who used to "get fitted" at Lit Brothers, and it was a hush hush task, sending my aunt to pick them up when they came in. Not to get too gross, but the undertaker couldn't get the garment on, and they had to buy a deeper coffin and make special arrangements to move it around.
DeleteI believe people feel this is different because Hillary has needed assistance with walking for a few months.
ReplyDeleteNo she hasn't.
DeleteWhat do you base that on? She's swarmed (rightly so) by Secret Service Agents to protect her against some deplorable act
DeleteI am surrounded by Hillary haters. They don't particularly like Trump either but refuse to vote for Hillary. When I ask them where they got their information or insight, they can't answer my question and just ramble on about how horrible she is. I just do not get it. I usually give them a few resources but I know they won't do a thing to educate themselves. My daughter and her husband, both in their early 30s, don't even bother to vote. I could just scream!
ReplyDeleteGot some relatives making similar noises and my mom has been saying that those who don't vote don't get to complain later. She's kind of fed up.
DeleteIf a cold is the worst thing the GOP can prove Hillary is hiding, I think she is doing OK.
ReplyDeleteI have an aunt who got sick the same time as Hillary. It turned into pneumonia. My aunt is the same age as Hillary and just as independent. She was on the go for the whole month of August busy with her life and family, and then we all caught a cold. The younger ones fought theirs off, I just barely, and my aunt was going, going, going, until her husband made her go get it checked out. Now, she's trying to sit back and relax but she is rearing to go. Today is the last day of her antibiotics and then she's off. Hillary is like many of us who just don't like do sit still for a cold. It's inconvenient because we have things to do, and places to go.
ReplyDeleteSenator Chuck Schumer D-NY also came down with pneumonia after visiting that same Brooklyn office of Hillary.
ReplyDeleteYou mean Bernie didn't give it to her?
ReplyDeleteI think Gryphen missed an opportunity there.
Pneumonia isn't something to be taken lightly, especially in the young and elderly. Anyone who's had it knows how fatigued and painful it can become. If her doctors are saying a week's rest, I think the worst of it's probably behind her. I'm not a doctor, just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteGet Well Soon, Hillary! Potus and Flotus are doing a fine job filling in, hope you watched his speech today. Now THAT'S a good friend.
A Europe rag touts that putin and trump poisoned her. I would not put it pass them being the low life little men that they are.
