Will and Grace cast reunites for the 2016 election.

Okay that was literally just for my daughter.

I mean I really liked it and all but if I had decided not to post it I would never have heard the end of it from that kid who keeps eating all of the olives in the house.

My daughter freaking LOVES Will and Grace.

Poor dear. Did you know Rock Hudson was gay? But who cares. The show was hilarious. My favorite episode was when Matt Damon pretends to be gay to get into the NYC Gay men's Chorus, and tries to seduce Grace. Funny stuff.

I can't stand Megan Mullally but it's obvious why the lesbians like her. Saw her in Broadway and she has no talent.

Do you know what it requires to be on Broadway? You're as ignorant as what posted above you.

Megan Mullally is not a lesbian, dumbass, nor was her character. It's called ACTING.

A typical IMer reaction @ 5:33: knee jerk feeding of the trolls.

You're embarrassing; nobody said she was lesbian.

752 is right. The other person didn't say Megan is lesbian just that they know why lesbians like Megan. People here are so quick to name call - dumbass was not appropriate.

Speaking of acting and Broadway, isn't Lea Delaria Gryphon's daughter in law? I heard that somewhere.

It was ground breaking at the time.It was witty and fast and if you're stupid, as you obviously are you, you wouldn't get the humor.

Thank you, Ellen Degeneres, for making shows as "Will And Grace" possible. She came out on her sitcom and was blackballed. NOW look at her and what she does for ALL people.

    Great Seattle aStory:
"I can see now, out of a desire to continue being a refuge for a lost and scared little girl.

For one glorious summer they gave me the gift of freedom, a home and a safe place to hide."

Great Clip. I saw Megan Mullally on "Sunday Morning" once, she and her husband do broadway and tour bluegrass festivals together. She's so different speaking in her own voice than the character Karen.
Not my genre, but they did a few joan baez and other "standards" of the sixties and seventies.

Sheesh Lou Sarah! You're one to cast stones about plastic surgery. If your eyebrows go any higher, you'll need to get a forehead transplant.

  12. Boy this went off the rails quickly.

For the record Will and Grace was a groundbreaking show when it premiered in the late 90's and during it's run was nominated for 83 Emmy awards, winning 16 of them.

Megan Mullaly is a multi-talented actress and just about everybody's favorite character on the show, With the possible exception of the Sean Hayes character Jack.

Yes I know the show freaked out the homophobes, which was pretty clear from the over the top reaction here in the comments section. But for the rest of us the show is widely respected for its great writing and the performances of some truly talented actors.

  15. I never got into Will & Grace. Once Showtime debuted Queer As Folk in December 2000, the game was upped substantially.

Here at last were continuous gay characters who were not at all sexually neutered. Newsweek or Time, in their extended reviews, noting "a man's tongue traveling down another man's back to a degree never witnessed before, in its opening 30 minutes Queer As Folk rips the door off the closet and tosses in a stick of rainbow dynamite."

Fine actors that Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes are, the de-sexualized Will Truman and raging stereotype Jack McFarland were left in the dust by Gale Harold's "Brian Kinney" and Randy Harrison's "Justin Taylor."

While the scripts would markedly decline as Folk moved through its five seasons, its flawed but fully sexualized characters, who made no apologies to anyone, rendered the seemingly tolerance-beseeching Will and Jack immediate anachronisms. Will and Grace fostered the uneasy sense for me that it was a 'gay show' for straights who wanted to congratulate themselves for their open-mindedness. "Okay to ask, okay to tell, but for God's sake don't show!"

Even in the 1970s and early 80s when I was at my own physical peak and best looks, I never prioritized any buddyship with a straight woman to the neglect of my sex- and love life, and thus I felt little identification with Will Truman.

As always, dvlaries tells it like it is, with facts and eloquence. Odd how other dissenters here are labeled homophobes. Thanks you for your thoughtful, measured comments, dvlaries. You are one of the few voices of reason on this blog.

Well said. Just a gay show for straight people to congratulate themselves for watching.

  16. I'm not seeing anyone discussing the excellent documentary aired tonight, on "FRONTLINE."

It was a 2 hour deeply incisive report on the lives of Trump and Hillary, starting from how their early family lives were awful.

Even Trump's most avid sympathizers admitted he is a bigger carnival barker than P.T. (Sucker born every minute) Barnum...nothing but bragging, not a smidgen of substance.

Hillary is shown to be what is probably the most ambitious woman in HISTORY...which would be admired in a male, but is scary for the weak, in a woman.

Hopefully its available on line...should not be missed.
