Now just roll that around in your head for a bit.In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 27, 2016
Currently Hillary is ahead in the popular vote by over 2.2 million.
Is Trump REALLY suggesting that ALL of those votes were cast illegally?
(Yes he is and here is where he got that idea.)
But hey, its gets even better.
It would have been much easier for me to win the so-called popular vote than the Electoral College in that I would only campaign in 3 or 4--— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 27, 2016
So you see Donald Trump was not really trying to win the popular vote, but if he HAD been trying to win the popular vote then buy God he WOULD have won the popular vote, which actually he DID win if not for all of those totally illegal votes.states instead of the 15 states that I visited. I would have won even more easily and convincingly (but smaller states are forgotten)!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 27, 2016
Which begs the question, just exactly what COULD he have done to win that popular vote, which he totally already won?
Rigged the election even harder perhaps?
I'm sorry but this is not a well man.
He is clearly worried about something, and it is causing him to crack even before he takes he oath of office.
So now here's a question. You know just for shits and giggles.
What exactly happens IF these recounts show that Hillary Clinton actually won all three of the states in question here?
What if we learn that she, and not Donald Trump, won Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania?
Michigan has 16 electoral votes, Pennsylvania 20, and Wisconsin 10, for a total of 46 electoral votes.
If they all flip that would give Hillary 274 to Trump's 260.
Nothing like this has every happened before so I legitimately wonder what would have to happen if this turned out to be the case?
Some folks like the ones over on Real Clear Politics and The Palmer Report believe that it simply means Hillary Clinton is the President. Period.
But is she?
And if the Clinton campaign, with the backing of President Obama, does decide to swear Hillary in as the next President of the United States, what happens to a country that was almost on the brink of civil war BEFORE the election?
Update: And the Twitter-in-chief just keeps on tweeting.
Seriously? Or is he just choosing states that Hillary won as a distraction?Serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire and California - so why isn't the media reporting on this? Serious bias - big problem!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 28, 2016
I think we know the answer.
But hey I'm all for it.
In fact let's do a recount for ALL of the states, before we inaugurate anybody, just to make damn sure this is a fair election.
Who's with me?
What makes drumpf thing all those "illegal votes" wouldn't have been cast for him? In fact, I suspect that they were! After all, that man is always, always projecting.
ReplyDeleteThe "so called popular vote" - ROFLMAO - in the rest of the world in a democracy it's called THE VOTE and whoever gets the most votes wins.
ReplyDeleteAlso interesting that he now makes mention of some kind of illegal voting but only as it pertains to votes for HRC.
You cannot make this sh*t up. The next four years are unimaginable.
ALL the extra votes (more votes than voters) that were found in the WI counties were for Trump. Every Single One and they were ALL deleted.
DeleteIt would have been advantages if your founding fathers had made sure that any President-elect showing signs of mental illness, as is the case here, would automatically be barred from taking office.
DeleteIt's sad to think that in the history of your great nation a person of this calibre will be sitting in the Oval Office using all the power of that office to erase the wonderful progress President Obama has made during his terms in office and as a result turn the country into a backwater entity.
"I'm not saying TRUMP HAS DEMENTIA OK? I'm just saying that people- believe me I know a LOT of people-- many, many people are saying TRUMP HAS DEMENTIA. All I know is what I read on the internet. I'm just saying that people are saying TRUMP HAS DEMENTIA. That's all I'm saying, ok? If TRUMP HAS DEMENTIA that would be big problem. Very sad!"
ReplyDeleteit sounds like you got it first sweetie

Sorry folks, this guy is mucking futs. He can't ignore ANYTHING. He's tweeted THIRTEEN times in 24 hours about the re-count. Imagine when something really serious happens.
MAYBE THIS IS REALLY SERIOUS!
DeleteI strongly suspect that Trump has spent more time and energy tweeting than he has on national security briefs. I think it's a great idea that ALL votes be recounted. I can't imagine that anyone interested in a fair outcome would object to such a thing.

I just enjoyed reading about stuff Joe Scarborough has said re Conway and Giuliani talking so publicly about, for Giuliani, which positions he'll be willing to accept, and, for Conway, trashing Romney and almost admonishing Trump for considering him for SOS. So, Scarborough is asking Trump to think about how it will look to the world if they now see that Trump allows his staff to bully him.
ReplyDeleteTrump was taking a poll of his Thanksgiving Dinner guests as to who he should make Sec. of State.
DeleteThe guy is totally clueless!
Why not put up an internet survey and see who gets the most votes? "Dancing with the Secretary of State"! Vote 101 for Giuliani and 102 for Romney.
The electoral college needs to save the country from this inept, unfit, unqualified clown. If Trump gains the office, it will only be a matter of time when we enter WWIII and it's a nuclear war. That's WHEN, not IF.
I heard that one of the guests polled was Fabio. Fabio? Isn't he going to be secretary of agriculture since he used to do the "I can't believe it's not butter" commercials?

4:43 I also read he is autistic and can't socialize with people which will be a problem and most likely get us into a war because of his narcissistic attitude. If not in a war with another country we will have an internal civil war. But what does he have to worry about. He has 950 Secret Service agents protecting him in Washington DC, his wife in New York, his 10 year old kid at school and his adult children. If he grants Ivana her wish to be ambassador to Czech or wherever she's from and Marla as well, we have a lot of taxpayers money protecting millionaires and billionaires.

60 Minutes just had a great show on the subject of Alzheimers. Donnie will more than likely get it from his Dad and likely is scared to death of that diagnosis and what is likely ahead of him.
DeleteI wonder how much his family members are already noticing as to his forgetfulness and lack of retention. Perhaps that is why so many of us throughout the country don't find him bright, well spoken or able to read well (at least orally!).
And, if you review his many speeches, he repeats the same things over and over again. He reads the 'other' speeches and you never hear him repeat the content of those!
He assuredly is NOT qualified to run our country! He'd be worse that was President Reagan!
A couple of observations.
DeleteDonny sure doesn't look like he's going to make it to 93.
Alzheimer's can be prevented or delayed by brain activity, reading, problem solving, puzzle activities, and the like. Donny doesn't seem to use much brain power or maybe he doesn't have much to use.
I suspect he is in the early/mid stage of Alzheimer's. If not that, there is some other neurological problem going on. The guy is not right in the head.

The recount threatens his electoral college victory.

Even is the electorals remain, if any elector flips, he'll take it as a personal attack that will drive him to tweet some early morning rants.
He is the most insecure man alive and every time his legitimacy is questioned he will lose it. He will spend his term tweeting in rage about SNL or Bill Maher or some other affront.
I can't wait for "AM SO!" or "ARE TOO!" rants from hysterical Little Stubby Fingers.
He is going to be constantly out of control every time the media announce his ever sinking approval levels.
He can't stand that he is only a token winner and that he's essentially won four years in prison where he will be attacked and be miserable 24/7.
The only thing keeping him from resigning is that he's making money and the office allows the possibility of him making even more. Take that away and he'll resign.
If he doesn't die first. Stoke. Aneurysm. Heart Attack.
maialupa, you hit on something there with the Electorate voters. If any of them goes for Hillary, even though he/she is 'supposed to' vote for tRump, that person will be threatened and possibly harmed. Even though, per law, the Electorates in 26 states can vote their conscience and are not required to vote party line. And in at least 7others, they simply would have to pay a fine of $1,000.
DeleteI wonder, if the tRump campaign is already threatening them...
I don't think Drumpf of his campaign would risk getting caught threatening an elector.
DeleteBut he will go absolutely apeshit on twitter if even one electoral that was supposed to vote for him goes faithless and votes for anyone else. Nuclear if they switch to Hillary. (Which I understand a few in Texas of all places are considering doing. They think he's unfit.)

If the Electoral College does the right thing, they will not allow this mentally incompetent idiot to be the next president. If they don't vote against trump, they are putting the entire country at risk. You would think the president elect would have too much real work to do to prepare for the presidency to be wasting so much time making baseless accusations on twitter. If the Electoral College would give Hillary enough votes to be the 45th president, I'd be willing to take a chance on a civil war breaking out by Trump's alt-right/Nazi followers. I think trump wants to have a reason, and a following, to get started on the trump network. He'd rather do that than be president.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Donald won't be happy with a recount. If all those votes were actually cast, but they were illegal, what good would a recount of them do? We need a revote!
ReplyDeleteAnd there we enter Brexit territory.

Trump Threatens To Prosecute Hillary Clinton If She Pursues An Election Recount
.... Trump Senior Adviser Kellyanne Conway delivered a threat to prosecute Hillary Clinton if she pursues the recount during an interview on CNN's State Of The Union.
.... The president doesn’t make decisions on who gets prosecuted and who doesn’t. That is not how our system works. Secondly, Donald Trump isn’t the president yet, so he has no say on what happens. What comes out of Kellyanne Conway’s mouth is usually a direct message from Trump Tower.
.... Conway was issuing a not so thinly veiled threat to Hillary Clinton. If Clinton’s team continues to assist with the recount, the former Secretary of State may face prosecution. The incoming administration is expressing their willingness to punish anyone who questions or expresses dissent.
If Trump is so confident in the election results, why is he so rattled by this recount?
The overblown reaction coming from Trump and his staff towards the recount might lead one to suspect that they are not as confident in the election results as is being projected publicly. Incoming presidents do not use their staff to issue veiled threats against their political opponents on national television.
Trump’s reaction to the recount and threat to prosecute Hillary Clinton is not normal, and a sign that the incoming administration has an expansive and authoritarian view of executive powers that could represent a grave danger to the civil liberties and freedoms of the American people...

DeleteThere are two possibilities here. One, the president-elect is getting his news from conspiracy nuts and/or conspiracy websites even as he refuses to sit for classified intelligence briefings. Two, the president-elect is an unapologetic liar who is announcing crooked information that he indeed knows is crooked—a naked, post-truth propaganda attempt.

I read that the Florida Elections Canvassing Commission was to certify the FLA vote on 11/22. So, how can there be a recount? Can there be? If last Friday was WI's deadline to file for one, how can one be done in FLA post-their certification day? I'm reading all these articles now about the insurmountable lead Hillary had in FLA and that people want a recount. What would need to happen for it to be okayed now? I don't see their GOP governor, if it's up to him, allowing a recount.
