Donald Trump is having an absolute meltdown over this recount thing.

Did he just talk about himself in the third person again?

You know it is perfectly reasonable for somebody to request a recount in a close election, it is part of our democratic process.

For Trump to be getting so bent out of shape over this really makes me wonder if there is not something here that he REALLY does not want us to discover.

Something that Nate Silver seems to agree with as well.
We're just saying.

Lets see.... whose quote is this?

“That’s not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections and we’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election."

Recounts have been done in many towns, counties, and states over the last 240 yrs. It is part of our fair voting policy.

One problem - when multiple recounts show that Hillary's vote counts were accurate but Trump's were padded by thousands of votes that didn't really exist, it is NOT a 'free and fair election'.

We already know that Comey breaking FBI policy to make the misleading announcements about emails and the Russian hacks and posting of fake news stories on social media had a significant effect on the election. So, if those actions by federal agencies and foreign governments were aimed at helping Hillary win instead, would you be okay with that?

If the Democrats had instituted voting restrictions and elimination of polling places that were specifically targeted to reduce the number of conservative votes, would you just dismiss it?

If Hillary managed to intentionally skew the votes so that she won the swing states by fraud which was discovered days after the election, would you insist on Trump accepting the results?

If Trump won fairly and legally, he has nothing to fear from recounts and audits.

10:51, pretty much all you have are left wing blog lies and fabrications and suppositions. There may be thousands or tens of thousands of votes that are incorrect, but in the end of the recount, that pendulum may swing both ways and reflect badly on Hillary. Be careful what you wish for. Remember this recount didn't start with the Democrats. Maybe they didn't want it.

Regardless, even if tens of thousands of vote are thrown out only for Trump, he will still win. And you will be even more disappointed. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Wow, he is insane. I saved a pic of his Twitter page last night when I saw his Thanksgiving "working hard" tweet next to his "Fidel Castro is dead!" tweet and the 2 then-new tweets about the recount. The combo was pure nuttiness. Had to save a pic. Now, today I woke up and saw that he’d tweeted 7 times at about 7:30 his time this morn. 7 tweets about the recount. And the language…so third-grade. Yesterday he resisted tweeting a lot about the recount and someone put out a longish official statement, like they did following his I-said-it-first tweet about Castro’s death, but today he couldn’t stop himself. He started tweeting away. He is such a moron.

Ridiculous. Trump needs his own 'safe place' where he can play at being president and all of his decisions are correct, everyone loves him, and all other countries bow to his demands. His fragile ego can't handle anything less.

He's juvenile. He's petulant. He's spoiled and vindictive and undisciplined.

Aside from age and citizenship (he meets the Constitutional requirements), there is nothing to recommend him to the office.

The Electoral College should pull a Hayes like they did once before. The put Rutherford B. Hayes in office even though Tillman won the electoral college AND the popular votes. They did it to remove the military from the south after the civil war. Well, this time they should do it to remove a tyrannical madman from the office. They need to do what they were created to do; save the country from itself.

But Trumps meltdown is ridiculous. It shows me that 1. He really did do something wrong or
    2. His little ego is soooo bruised by how quickly Ms. Stein got support that he is again losing it!

I really think that he thought, once he won, everyone, even his dissenters, would instantly realize that he was wonderful and start fawning all over him. Every time that doesn't happen he fall apart. A stable mature leader would either welcome a recount or ignore it altogether.

KellyAnne Conway went on the t.v. circuit a week ago and asked what was so wrong about his tweeting. I sent her an e-mail describing how dangerous it was to put your insecurities on display for the whole world to see. How most of the world sees how easy he will be to manipulate. She's sold her soul to help elect the most dangerous candidate this country has ever seen and has vilified everyone who disagrees with him. If this country doesn't survive a Trump presidency, the collapse of the United States will be, in great part, her responsibility.

    1. It's important for us to remember that Gore actually did not demand a recount.

"But it’s still worth pointing out that what Gore and Trump did are not the same. Here’s a (very) condensed version of what really happened 16 years ago:

      1. On election night, several television networks called Florida for George W. Bush, clinching the electoral college — although Gore would end up winning about 500,000 more votes. Gore called Bush to concede.
      2. Then the networks uncalled Florida — and Gore unconceded, realizing that he was ahead in the popular vote and if he ended up winning Florida he would have won the election. The election was literally too close to call.
      3. A legally mandated recount began.
      4. Bush (not Gore) sued to stop recounts in some counties.
      5. Gore sued to extend deadlines for recounts.
      6. The Florida Supreme Court ordered a more extensive recount. Bush (not Gore) appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
      7. The U.S. Supreme Court stopped the recount.
      8. Gore conceded.

To say that President-elect Donald Trump is bent out of shape over the recount initiated by Green Party candidate Jill Stein is a serious understatement. Not only did Trump recently call Stein’s filing for a recount in Wisconsin a “scam,” but he had a meltdown of epic proportions on Twitter last night, which carried over into this morning.

Trump’s obviously nervous, because there were already discrepancies in votes found in several precincts in Wisconsin — and they only showed on Trump’s ballots. There’s a problem when there are more votes than actual people who voted.

It is worth the effort to do the recount knowing fully well that this election is rigged per Donald. He said it was going to be rigged and it is rigged. When an election is rigged, the democracy is denied the citizens. Democracy in this instance is no more democracy when an individual forced himself on the people by rigging the election

Donald Trump is calling ‘hypocrisy’ on the recount effort. That’s not really fair.

'Trump if you are so confident in our system, then let the system proceed, recounting is part of our rights and built into our country, just as it was your right winning the electoral vote but losing the popular vote. Its not your personal business anymore where you can make up a set rules for your workers and one set of rules for yourself. If the recount proves you are the clear winner, then half of America might be more willing to follow your lead into oblivion, if it proves you did cheat, then good thing we caught you now instead of 2 years down the road before you destroy us.'

    Is Sarah Palin that retarded?
I thought she said she attended 5 colleges?

    Internet:
Appearing on Breitbart News Daily, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin put a snowbank’s worth of cold water on any speculation that she might be part of the Trump administration.

“ … transition meetings are going on in New York, while I’m on the other side of the world,” she said in the interview

Bless your heart Sarah. Alaska is not on the other side of the world from where the Trump transition team is working.

America is so sick and tired of the reality of trump liars and their created spin wasting our time and taxpayer money!!!!. It is clear fact and truth that this election was altered, hacked, manipulated, swayed and RIGGED. NEW count NEW election NEW rules. NO RIGGERS!!!! and mr trump did not win except in his mind. More than likely Hillary won majority of both electerol and popular and more than likely Senator Sanders did win the majority in primary. So it is alittle mess. It is really hard to look at them. They look stupid, inbred, and scary. Caveman Conway is absolutely hideous, as is Trump and as is Bannon and Giuliani. Others, too, but these four are just so completely butt fuckin' ugly. Conway always makes me think back to watching the Peacock family on X-Files. This is coming from the guy said he would only accept the results if he won, told America time and time again the election was rigged, told his supporters if he didn’t win to use 2nd amendment solutions, was in contact with a foreign country during the campaign to help him (treason), was helped by the FBI to undermine Hillary.

A recount is perfectly legal; little slippery fingers will just have to get over it. Hillary conceded given the information at the time, doesn’t mean anything as far as I am concerned, if the recount shows she won the Electoral College, she should be president.

Then little donnie won’t have to worry about not sleeping in his own bed and American taxpayers will be saved from lining his pockets for the next 4 years.

And Those special electronic voting machines are magic! Each state must double check. and certify the count and chain of custody and signed off on vote info.
