Donald Trump doubles down on his nuclear weapon tweet from yesterday, "Let it be an arms race, we will outmatch them at every pass, and outlast them all."

Well I said "holy shit" yesterday so I guess I should choose different wording today.

Holy fuck!

How can this idiot NOT know that nobody outlasts anybody in an arms race, they both just end up with a huge arsenal of incredibly dangerous weaponry that neither has any intention of ever using.

Donald Trump is literally like those ammosexuals who buy an arsenal of weaponry because it makes them feel like a tough guy, while in reality they are afraid to walk to the store at night for fear of being mugged.

It was one thing when this son-of-a-bitch was building towers with his name on them to compensate for his inadequacies, but now he is introducing the idea of sending the country hurtling toward a nuclear conflagration simply to impress the boys in the locker room.

Forget about rebuilding infrastructure or creating jobs America, Donald Trump has to prove to the world that his penis is not microscopic.

    Americans are being played.

Trump and Putin unite and all is safe in the universe

Trump will be shown as a leader and negotiator that kept the world from blowing up.

    Our two countries become friends

    1. Anonymous8:53 AM

You're probably right. Evidently we have to start thinking like reality show writers. Sickening and we really have no one to blame but ourselves.

    2. Anonymous9:22 AM

MAGA Kissass YOU got played not me! Anonymous8:37 AM
I didn't elected this fucking madman and Hillary won by 3 Million votes so "America" didn't elect this fucker.
You idiots in the red states did with you gopful electors hoping for a spot on the trump train.
      Fuck y'all.
Hope he bombs you first! Red states contribute
nothing but stupidity to this country.

    3. Anonymous9:40 AM

Nope, the only ones who win, short term of course, are the arms industry folks. The rest of us lose, big time. All that cash tat could be spent on infrastructure, etc... now is turn into bombs. The biggest waste of cash on the planet as we already have enough to blow up the whole world several times over.

    4. Anonymous10:03 AM

All I'm sayin' is that Exxon stock went up when Tillerson was selected. Yesterday was the time to invest in defense stocks as they too are responding positively to Trump's rhetoric. If we're gonna be making more bombs let's make so money off it!

    5. Anonymous3:32 PM

@ 8:37 OMG you are so stupid it is mind boggling.

Just wait until your welfare checks stop coming, the money will be used to buy more bombs.

  2. Anonymous8:38 AM

Drumpf says stupid crap like this and is willing to spend the money on more weapons, but my husband who conducts medical research to keep us alive and healthy has funding cut. This is the country that his brain-dead followers want. Unfathomable!

Twitter DESTROYS Trump After He Whines That Eric Can’t Sell Access To His Administration (TWEETS)

In case you haven’t heard, Eric Trump recently had to cancel an auction in which he was using his charity as a front to sell access to his father’s administration. Recently the Eric Trump Foundation announced an auction for coffee with his sister, incoming First Lady Ivanka, who will be serving as an adviser to her father and occupying the space in the White House normally reserved for the President’s spouse.

To any casual onlooker, this is exactly the sort of situation that used to cause Trump to scream “lock her up,” but now that he’s President, the obvious conflict of interest presented by the sale of access to those closest to the President-elect doesn’t matter much to him. On Friday, The Donald took to Twitter to whine that his family can’t sell access to his administration:

    1. Anonymous10:35 AM

OMG, I just looked at Trump's tweets. Such victims! Both father and son! Trump is completely ignoring what it was that Eric was doing by involving Trump/access, and instead he whines that now Eric can't raise ANY money through ANY means for the children through his charity. Such a crock!

My husband freaks out when I talk about what I wish would happen to Trump, but if we Americans start suffering bigly after 1/20, how long are we supposed to just take it out of "respect for the office of the president"? He's already saying the most dangerous things and putting up a wall as far as freedom of the press and the public's right to know goes. Once he starts treating Americans like Donald Sutherland's character in Hunger Games, that should be it--this idea of just letting the president be president will have to end. Crazy talk about nukes is not acceptable. If things really do get crazy, he will need to be removed. He should be impeached, to start. But the GOP congress has already made it clear that he will be free to rule as a dictator and in any way he sees fit. They are keeping all the hacking hearings limited to the small committees and no way will the Repubs on those committees vote to have full and open hearings in public. There is going to be such a crackdown on the freedom of information and transparency. All Trump's talk about being for the people is crap. He'll still do his rallies and fool the idiots into believing that the govt is all about them, but the reality will be a lack of transparency and taking away of freedoms that we haven't seen in a long time. It's a shame when you have to think that something terrible must happen so as to shake people awake and make them demand accountability and to rein in a dictator US pres, but right now that is what seems will have to happen, some sort of tragedy.

    1. I think what happened in Turkey was a sign of what's to come: they may not be able to get a trump in his nyc tower, but someone will likely target his grown children and it will likely come from one of those wretches who voted for him. We are in for rough times ahead. The Republicans in Congress will, for the most part, be too cowardly to stand up to him for our sakes.
Either way there will be blood.

Rachel Maddow refuses to let Kellyanne Conway dance around Trump’s terrible treatment of the press

    1. Anonymous10:09 AM

It was a great interview. Conway was so off her game. She sat there so pertly and talked softly and it was in part due to being continually one-upped by Rachel and partly to appear like the good guy, but Rachel, while persevering, was very nice to her. There were a couple times when Rachel didn't follow up and she let Conway score some points. Once was right before a commercial break. Rach was generous.

I was very glad that Rachel wanted to end by calling attn to how Trump seems to want to muzzle the press and anyone who might have an opinion, but I was so bummed when she let Conway go on and on about Melania having a right to defend herself. Rachel should have brought up what Trump had done to the Obamas as a family, as regular citizens, and how Trump hadn't cared one bit that he'd attacked two young girls' father and their family unit's sense of identity. I immediately emailed TRMS to complain and encourage Rachel to bring this point up if there's a next time. I said, too, that at no time during all the birther lying and then Trump's backpedaling did I ever hear anyone--Trump, pundits, anyone--talk about how that birtherism lie, told over and over again and especially by Trump, was there a mention of the impact on Sasha and Malia.

Think about it. There was NEVER any consideration of the girls by Trump and NO ONE has ever spoken up about this. It makes me fume!

I sincerely hope someone puts Trump out of his misery! He is such an idiot and is creating nothing but havoc to our country and world!

We need him gone from the presidency as well as our earth!

    1. Anonymous10:28 AM

I've been holding back on what I'd like to happen to Trump, so I keep it at the heart attack level. If he puts us all in danger and the GOP congress won't remove him, well then if something else happens to neutralize him, so be it. I can't believe how "out of sight, out of mind" it is right now. This guy is a career criminal in so many ways. He's being given the biggest free pass. I mean, on the sexual assaults alone, what the hell is wrong with people that they think that is okay. Every day, he's doing more to shut down access to him by the press and by us, and he's getting himself involved in diplomacy while we have a sitting president and when he has no clue what has gone into the last decades pf peace on this planet. I really don't care what happens to him.

    2. Anonymous11:41 AM

I fucking hate Trump (words that never use to be in my vocabulary!) - 'hate' and 'Trump'!

The other thing I despise about him is his trying to override the presidency when President Obama is still in office - nearing the completion of his second term.

I'm not sure which one has played the other better - President Obama or Trump - but, we'll find out soon!

We know for a fact that Putin is playing Trump to a tee - stroking his ego and playing him like a fiddle!

Trump needs to 'be gone' - and, sooner rather than later!

George Takei Publishes POWERFUL Anti-Trump Op-Ed: ‘Welcome To The Resistance’ (DETAILS)

Takei penned a stunning op-ed, published on Wednesday in The Advocate, titled “Welcome to the Resistance” detailing his take on the future of the United States under the Trump Administration.

Although the title could be taken as a bit of a doomsday prelude, Takei sets out with his article to be much more forward looking than to simply lay out all of the possible paths to the end of the world under the Donald Trump presidential administration.

Takei begins by laying out what experience he speaks out of when addressing the threats that Donald Trump poses to American freedom.

Takei describes himself in his Twitter bio as “a believer in, and a fighter for, the equality and dignity of all human beings.”

And indeed, he doesn’t use that phrase to describe himself for nothing.

Celebrities Announce HUGE Inauguration Day Concert To Troll & Piss Off Trump (DETAILS)

POLITICO reports a Democratic concert promoter plans on staging a huge “We the People” concert in Miami to compete with the president-elect’s inauguration.

‘EXCLUSIVE: DEPT OF THINGS PEOTUS WON’T LIKE — MARK ROSS, a concert promoter and the son of the late Time Warner CEO Steve Ross, is in the process of putting together a large-scale concert called “We the People” to DIRECTLY compete with Donald Trump’s inauguration.’

Unlike Team Trump — which can’t find any A-list acts to perform on Inauguration Day — event organizers say they’ll have no problem lining up performers for the anti-inauguration bash.

‘The organizers are looking to hold the event in Miami on Inauguration Day. “The talent is banging on our doors to do this,” according to a source familiar with the planning, although not a single act has been revealed as of yet. Ross is in the midst of lining up funding, according to a source.’

That’s not surprising, given all the big names who supported Hillary Clinton and performed at her events. These included Beyoncé and Jay Z, Madonna, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s planners can’t even find enough college and high school marching bands for his Inauguration Day parade.

The idea for staging a concert that would steal Donald Trump’s presidential thunder took flight on Sunday, thanks to top economist Robert Reich. The former labor secretary for President Bill Clinton and economics professor at U.C. Berkeley posted on his Facebook page that someone had suggested to him “a televised ‘freedom concert'” that would air “at the same time as the inauguration.”

To add insult to injury, Saturday Night Live‘s star Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin could host.

Oh but wait, there’s more. Robert Reich declares, “Presto. The Trump inauguration loses all the TV ratings. Basically, no one watches it.” Well, except for those die hard Trump fans. And here comes the kicker…Proceeds from the concert could go to all of the non-profits Donald Trump, his supporters, and his fellow Republicans hate.

‘Even better, the proceeds of the freedom concert go to the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Lambda Legal, NAACP, Common Cause, CAIR, IRAP, SPLC, Environmental Defense Fund, Human Rights Campaign Fund, MoveOn, Economic Policy Institute, Inequality Media, and GLAD.’

Robert Reich then asked, “What do you think?” Apparently, some think it’s a great idea.

Vladimir Putin: Only Russia Knew Donald Trump Would Win (Yet Denies Sabotaging Election)

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that only Russia knew that Donald Trump would win the presidential election. Um, but Russia didn’t hack the election, right?

Speaking at his annual press conference in Moscow, Putin said Trump “understood the mood of the people and kept going until the end, when nobody believed in him — except for you and me,” according to Reuters.

Putin added, “Certainly only we knew that he was going to win. No-one else did.”

The ever Republican farmers who are already suffering low crop prices, are about to learn the lesson that willful ignorance of a candidate and an entire party is going to have a high price. The same will hold for the white working class in those Midwestern states that ignored the racism, the threats on religion and millions of people, the suffering to millions of others they knew was coming, and instead voted for a “change”, wink wink, nudge nudge.

Before he even takes office, Trump and the GOP have nations around the world getting ready for the chaos that an uninformed electorate, manipulated by attacks from without and within on an antiquated election system, have unleashed on our entire planet.

DOJ's Big Bank Settlements Remove Potential Conflict Of Interest For Trump
    December 23, 20162:13 PM ET

In the last days of the Obama administration, the federal government has reached multibillion-dollar settlements with Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse over their sale of toxic mortgage securities.

President-elect Donald Trump owes Deutsche Bank hundreds of millions of dollars in loans. So that deal removes a potential conflict of interest — where a Trump Justice Department would have been negotiating the settlement.

Deutsche Bank settled for $7.2 billion, while Credit Suisse agreed to pay $5.3 billion. The deals resolve U.S. investigations into the sale of toxic securities tied to mortgages in the run-up to the financial crisis. Regulators have already struck similar deals with major U.S. banks. A third European bank, Barclays, resisted a settlement offer and is now being sued by the Justice Department....

    1. Anonymous11:35 AM

The way I see it, Deutsche settling w/ the DOJ for 7.2 suddenly means that the 7.2 is peanuts in comparison to what Deutsche will be after when Trump's in office.

And with Trump frequently getting loans from them and owing them $300 million currently, they are going to be so in bed together.

At least Blumenthal is saying that the settling is not enough. Things must remain vigilant.

    2. Anonymous11:38 AM

So glad the UN just voted against the Israeli settlements and US abstained with a very strong statement by Samantha Powers, in which she named every pres starting with LBJ who has spoken up against the illegal takeover of that land by the settlements. It has gotten so bad under Netanyahu--he is so fucking arrogant. Trump has no clue what it means to be Jewish but he thinks that having a son-in-law who's a Jew makes him an expert. The vast majority of US Jews, and many in Israel, are anti-settlement and what Netanyahu stands for when it comes to his arrogant stance. I am very glad that Trumpp's assholian move the other day chatting with Bibi didn't pan out. Fuck Trump.

And, after the reader finishes, he or she should explain, in simple language, that the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan in 1945 were minuscule in their strength compared to modern nuclear weapons. Then, perhaps, there should be a televised reading of the same work so that all Americans have an idea of just what horror Trump is willing to unleash on others and on us.
