Doonesbury comic from December 18. 2016. Spooky.

For those who don't know, after berating that CNN reporter the other day and calling them "fake news," Trump did indeed call on the guy from Breitbart.

I have said before that nobody understands Donald Trump quite as well as Garry Trudeau, who also predicted 30 years ago that he would run for president, but this is starting to feel like an episode of the "Twilight Zone."

But then again who better to get inside the mind of Donald Trump than a cartoonist for the funny papers?

Here is more food for thought (that is likely to give you *serious* indigestion*)...

"Russian media agencies now arrive at Putin press conferences with “large, bright placards aimed at attracting the president’s attention.” The Russian president has made the press events into a game where reporters clamor like children for his attention." “But there will also be one token critic who will be allowed to ask a ‘sharp’ question, only to be drowned in a copious amount of bullshit, and the man on the stage will always be the winner (‘See? I respect the media and free speech’).”

    2. That's why I believe they should shun these press conferences en masse. But the Russian journalist nailed it. They won't because they compete against each other. They will not behave as a group for their own best interests or those of the profession. The dogs will just eat each other.

Integrity is the loser. As are truth and facts.

But what do you expect when your consumers are brought up on reality TV and can't comprehend beyond a 3rd grade education? If they'll swallow fake news hook, line and sinker, what is the point of actually reporting real news?

    Gary T is a seer.

I love the scalp in the cartoon.

Wow, Trump's tweeting like mad this morning. Insulting Intel again. Going after Hillary and lying about her again.

I wonder how many of the Russian prostitutes had to go for therapy after dealing with this orange slob?

OK, this is really a really far out question: Do you suppose he reads Doonesbury and gets his ideas from it? Any chance at all? NAH!!!!!! It is too literate.

He may have printed out a couple that shows a hair stylist working step by step to cover his bald spots. He pry passes out a copy to whoever is going to do his hair that day when traveling and guesting on shows.
