It appears that Trump might have started losing support among his Christian base.

Just a guess really.

But what isn't a guess is that he is definitely losing support among the military:

An analysis of Gallup polling data comparing the first 100 days of Trump's presidency to the month of May shows that Trump's job approval in military counties dropped sharply in the last month — from an average 51 percent approval and 41 percent disapproval in the first 100 days to 43 percent approval and 52 percent disapproval for May.

Still way too high as far as I'm concerned, but nice to see that some folks are starting to remove the blinders from their eyes.

I hope this trickles down to my family members. I have a sister married to some kind of Bible scholar who thinks God controls the climate; that Trump is trying to 'save the US from the infidels,' and that anyone who disagrees is as 'blind as Muslims as to what their religion is really about.' Sadly, she has a college degree. Happily, she doesn't vote. She lives in Colorado..I wonder how she's going to feel when Tillerson and Pruitt decide there's oil in those mountains and decide to blow some of them up?

If that's genius, I'll keep my 130 IQ honey. She is delusional. And my cousin has PTSD from multiple tours in the middle east. Tragic and sad...and yet they still beleive.

They have to keep believing. If they don't, they have to admit their entire lives are based on lies,

These stats give me a little bit solace. At least like that, I hope, the military will refuse to let him 'push the button' with North Korea!

As far as the christians are concerned, fundamental, evangelical, helping the downtrodden, the poor, those fleeing harm and war is the reason America was founded and is the diamond in America's crown. Some are coming to their senses as to why America came to be and what Lady Liberty is all about.Others like my mo sisters-not. But then, they're a cult $$$$. Maybe they can't squeeze 10 percent of their income when the people have nothing to begin.

"It’s not that I was wearing a skull ring or an Iron Cross ring. That’s not the mistakes that I made. There’s nothing wrong with those things. The mistake that I made was believing that multiculturalism, diversity, ethnic pride or heritage applied to me, too.”“I started seeing how the black community looked at each other and how race and tribe is so powerful for them, and I really respected that,”“I do value European symbols and European heritage, and those things,” Dean said. “It’s not OK by the left, it’s not OK in the mainstream media because if you do that, if you step out of bounds — specifically if you’re white — and you claim your own heritage, you’re going to be called a racist and you’re going to be called a Nazi.”

"Rather than demonizing men who may long for a strong brotherhood to protect them in a society that is increasingly unsafe and un-nourishing for all of us, we should counter-organize among them and have the searching and committed conversations about racism and sexism that have too often eluded the gay community. In this time of great danger for both LGBTQ people and the entire country, the only real way to fight fascism is to offer a competing vision,"

He's losing his 'christianist' base. It's doubtful that anyone out there who truly follows a Christian faith would steer very clear of this hateful liar who seeks only to break every commandment or moral code.
