Most of the media is owned by conservatives now. They give to both sides to cover their bets but overwhelmingly tilt toward the Right.
Fox is just so far out there it is obvious in it's bias. But that doesn't make the rest of the media "liberal."

I say this as a liberal: neoliberals are worse than conservatives . They are closet conservatives who believe in all the ills capitalism espouses without the responsibility. It started with Bill and continues with Obama , Warren and others . Democratic Party needs to go back to union protection , middle class protection , holding run away CEOs responsible, environment and manufacturing home to US. Stop foreign wars as well. We also need to stand up for being liberal! Be proud to say we are liberal and not be brow beat by conservative media in shaming us ....

ReplyDeleteThe media was a silent partner with Trump to build him up, tear Clinton down with the goal of making it look like a horse race. They had to make Trump look credible and to do that they had to make Clinton look worse.
The problem is they did their job waaaay tooooo well.
And now we're all paying for it.
Had they done some reality checks, dismissed the e-mails and hammered Trump on how unhinged, unqualified and racist/bigoted he was, he wouldn't be president.
We are where we are because the media chose who was going to be president. They chose ratings and money over responsible journalism and the truth. They chose Fake News over Real News.
