New Trump campaign ad identifies Democrats and the media as the enemies of success.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

“Democrats obstructing, media attacking our president, career politicians standing in the way of success. But President Trump’s plan is working,” the advert stated.

“One million jobs created, more Americans working than ever before, unemployment: lowest since 2001, the stock market: all time record high, the strongest military in decades. The president’s enemies don’t want him to succeed, but Americans are saying ‘let president Trump do his job’,” the advert added.

The campaign advert, whose message was approved by President Trump, reiterated the message put out by the president, particularly in recent months, that he is being blocked by Democrats despite having a majority in the White House, the House and the Senate.

So Trump approved this ad huh? Well that's interesting.

So he has no problem accusing Maxine Waters, Joe Scarborough, Elizabeth Warren, and Anderson Cooper of being un-American, but he can't bring himself to say the same about the Neo-Nazis?

Well that's pretty telling.

Personally I don't call the media and Democrats blocking Donald Trump's plans "obstructionists."

I call them HEROES.

OT?"Trump’s attack on Merck’s CEO for quitting his manufacturing council because the president refuses to condemn racists has backfired as Merck stock is having its best day since July 27."Wall Street doesn’t have a social conscience, but they are worried about backlash from investors and consumers. Trump has become so toxic that being attacked by him is rewarded. The President is on the wrong side of this issue, and anyone who stands with Trump deserves the scorn and consumer backlash that will harm their bottom line."
"His attack has backfired and provided a lesson for Wall Street that they have nothing to fear from the Nazi enabling president." :-0h yes...

David Duke, the former KKK grand wizard, is unambiguous about what Saturday’s alt-right and neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, means to him: It’s the fulfillment of President Donald Trump’s vision for America.

“We are determined to take our country back,” Duke said from the rally, calling it a “turning point.” “We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back.”

    https://www.vox.com/2017/8/12/16138358/charlottesville-protests-david-duke-kkk

Unite the Right, the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, explained

The alt-right rally was a coming-out party for resurgent white nationalism in America.

...Self-described “pro-white” activist Jason Kessler organized the rally to protest the planned removal of a statue of confederate general Robert E. Lee from a park in Charlottesville. Kessler is affiliated with the alt-right movement that uses internet trolling tactics to argue against diversity and “identity politics” — part of a broader cultural backlash that helped elect Donald Trump.

But the rally quickly attracted other more traditional groups of white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and the Ku Klux Klan.

...According to the Charlottesville police affidavit put out before the rally, planned attendees included the Klan; the militia movement (a right-wing movement that gained traction in the 1990s, whose members include the activists who took over a federal nature reserve in early 2016); the “3%”, a right-wing anti-government movement; the Alt-Knights, an alt-right “fight club”; and others.

How to find your local "Solidarity with Charlottesville" demonstration

Activists are staging at least 682 separate "Solidarity with Charlottesville" events in response to this weekend's attacks by white supremacists and neo-Nazis in the Virginia city.

The resistance group Indivisible shared the following map with Vox showing events across the country, the overwhelming majority of which will be held on Sunday. The events were put together by more than 60 different progressive organizations in the past 24 hours, according to Sarah Dohl of Indivisible.

Immature, ineloquent, obnoxiously full of themselves. And soooo juvenile wearing facemasks like 1950's five year olds playing cops and robbers. Thankfully, the adults in the Square salvaged the "vigil" that was advertised. Sane R's and D's need to repudiate the extremists on either side.Granted our alt-lefts appear quite a bit less violent, their cause more moral. But they are still offensive.

Mr. Trump is alone in modern presidential history in his willingness to summon demons of bigotry and intolerance in service to himself. He began his political career on a lie about President Barack Obama’s citizenship and has failed to firmly condemn the words and deeds of white supremacists, neo-Nazis, Ku Klux Klan leaders and other bigots who rallied behind him. A number of these people, including David Duke, the former Klan imperial wizard, and Richard Spencer, self-styled theorist of the alt-right, were part of the amen chorus of bigots in Charlottesville.

Trump told white supremacists to attack protesters

“Trump defined himself during campaign. He encouraged violence against protesters at rallies. We should not be surprised. ‪#Charlottesviille”

Charlottesville was not a ‘protest turned violent’ — it was a riot planned by racist extremists

In the case of Charlottesville, media outlets are being careless with words, whitewashing the intentions and the actions of White nationalist protestors. The “Unite the Right rally” stopped being a rally sometime Friday night when a stream of torch carrying White supremacists arrived at night to the University of Virginia campus chanting “blood and soil.” They used those torches as weapons in fights with counter-protesters.

On Saturday, NBC said, “Charlottesville rally turned deadly.” CNN said, “1 dead, 19 injured after crash near Unite the Right rally.”

What took place was not a rally. Who wears paramilitary gear and carries automatic weapons to a rally? Who takes shields and helmets and pepper spray and bats and sticks to a rally? The car didn’t “crash”— it was driven at full speed into a crowd of counter-protesters.

What happened in Charlottesville was White nationalist extremists inciting a riot.
