Sarah Palin expresses sadness concerning the departure of a longtime Fox News reporter. I think her memory may be failing her.

This Facebook post links to a rather mournful piece about the now departing Carl Cameron over at Young Conservatives.

However the fact that Palin seems upset about this departure seems odd considering one of Cameron's most famous on air moments. This was a piece from literally RIGHT AFTER the 2008 election, when Nicole Wallace, Steve Schmidt, and others were revealing behind the scenes info about Palin to the media that was shocking to the national audience but all too familiar for Alaskans.

Later of course all of these stories came out in the book "Game Change" which went on to become a great HBO movie of the same name.

But this interview right here was the very beginning of the de-mytholization (Yes I realize I made that word up.) of Sarah Palin.

After this there were numerous books, and of course blog posts, that literally destroyed the last remnants of Palin's lies and myths about her life, family, and career.

So yeah I guess I kind of mourn the loss of Carl Cameron on Fox News, but I have no idea why Palin would feel the same.

  1. Look how that sleazebag tried to dismiss Cameron's accurate and professional reporting....hard to believe this was able to make it to air, probably not enough time to edit it or dumb it down. Nothing wrong with a 44 year old politician who doesn't know that Africa is itself a continent and South Africa a separate country, yeah no relevance at all. This is exactly how Trump got into office, the idea of ignorance not only being played down but even something to be proud of and held in high regard. And $150k in wardrobe, from someone who ran on a platform of being a folksy type that eschewed the so-called elitists? Buying the same outfits of different sizes, that sounds pretty fiscally irresponsible...I mean why not try them on or just have each outfit tailor-made? Mind you this money was spent in just a couple of days, and by many accounts she was in deep debt at the time. FOX knew McCain didn't stand a chance, but they knew Palin could be a "useful idiot" for some time to come afterward, hence their building her up; though I don't think she reached the heights they expected. I suspect at some point the goal was for her to helm her own show or co-anchor with Beck or Hannity, which she clearly would not have been capable of. I have to ask though, this Cameron guy seems very professional....why did it take him 9 years to leave?

RNC paid her clothes. Big hoopla over she wouldn't give them back afterward.

You can't say that she wasn't given all the chances in the world to prove herself. Heck, even Hollywood gave 'em a shot. BUZZER.

Fox gave her all the chances, too. For her (cough) degree in journalism, she couldn't cut it there either.

I still remember that one interview in front of the inferno fake fireplace when she so SO high that she almost slid out of her chair.

      Good Stuff, Maynard!

Billo makes me sick. How he tries to lead the questions but Cameron just on and on in his earnest way. Love love it but can only watch Bill for a few minutes. He's sickening. I hope he's miserable.

Well according to her, unless posts have her initials or name , they weren't posted by her. But yes I remember when bad people were coming out to save their asses by lying to the press. The good people in the campaign were disgusted by aides' lies. There is nothing fake about Sarah. A humble lady who admits fallablility and is a devout Christian.

3:25 PM - no one is talking her home life. Her utter incompetence as a politician, and lack of basic intelligence in geography and world affairs yes. Word salad, baby.

This post was neither seen nor acknowledged by Sarah Palin. Yes she is a bad person who has lied to try to save her ass but Sarah Palin is also incredibly lazy. She never knows what might be going on unless a patient, semi attractive male person draws her a picture and even then there's no guarantee.

There is nothing fake about Sarah? Her wigs might have been made with real hair, just not her real hair. She has dentures, plastic surgery on her face, lipo on her body, and tits she can pop in and out of her bra. This can go on all day and I haven't even finished with her physical fakery. Her accent, her bio, even her political affiliation are all lies.

Devout xtians don't burn their own church. Nor do they have kids during their marriage from other men. Decent people get the therapy needed for their "ds" grandson to flourish in life. They don't steal $ and materials meant to build a town hockey rink for their village to build themselves a house. Good people don't have to fraud their way thru life. They're the rill dill. Tell me again about sarah's xtian ways...???

That's what narcissists do. "It didn't happen," and, if so, it's always someone else's fault.

Yes that is what narcissists do. They do things then lie that someone else did it also.

Cooper eviscerates Trump: ‘World’s biggest victim — trapped in the body of world’s most powerful man’

...“It might be fruitless to get in inside the man’s head,” Cooper continued. “Better to look at what he does. Whether it’s insisting that his inauguration crowds were the biggest, or whether he won a historical electoral vote—which he didn’t—with President Trump, there’s always one constant: himself.”

“It is always about himself,” Cooper said. “About his crowds. About his victory. His strength. His wealth. His intelligence. His speech. His reviews. His coverage. His innocence. Him. Last night, first and foremost, wasn’t about the people in that auditorium as the president claimed it was—maybe that was the biggest lie at all. Last night, what we saw, was all about him.”

We analyzed 17 months of Fox & Friends transcripts. It’s far weirder than state-run media.
How the Fox morning show evolved into Donald Trump’s posse.
