Even BEFORE President Obama took office Sarah Palin was using her rallies to incite racist attacks against him, call into question his citizenship, and label him a friend to terrorists.

After his election Palin turned attacks against President Obama into a lucrative career, and she was by no means alone in that.

In fact it could be argued that Donald Trump's entire political career was based on the Right Wing support he earned from his outlandish claims that Barack Obama was not born in this country, and therefore not a legitimate president.

The anger toward Donald Trump is anger that he has earned through his actions and his words.

The hatred directed at President Obama erupted despite his actions and his words. It was in response to something beyond his control....the color of his skin.

I will assume that James Woods was in a coma during Obama's eight years in office.

  1. Anonymous4:06 PM

James Woods cannot die soon enough.

  2. Anonymous4:09 PM

    She would know pathological!
    She calls it normalcy.

    1. Anonymous2:42 AM

How OLD is that photo of $carah? Why no recent photos, does she look too bad? No money for plastic surgeries anymore?

  3. James Woods suffered brain damage during his years of not using a hell of a lot of cocaine. Allegedly.

  4. Anonymous4:10 PM

Woods, like Palin, is an idiot.

  5. Yeah, this guy.

He was one of the strongest voices, and at length, in defense of Bette Davis when her daughter, B.D. Hyman published "My Mother's Keeper" in 1985. While Woods could certainly speak from experience what it was like to be Davis's work colleague, he had no personal reference what it was like to be her child. But that didn't stop him.

So we knew since long ago he has no hesitation running off at the mouth when he doesn't know what he's talking about.

  6. Anonymous4:19 PM

James Woods who? Sarah Palin who?
And yes, I guess there are those that are allowed to manlove the Trump. No problemo. Just keep drinking the koolaid.

    1. Anonymous4:35 PM

Do you mean the same James Woods with the cocaine-using girlfriend that was 50 years younger than him? Do you mean the same James Wood who categorized immigrants as tattooed thugs? Do you mean the same James Woods that agrees with the Alt-Right people? Enough said.

  7. Anonymous4:23 PM

Woods is Jon Voight's intellectual equal.

  8. Trump? He's talking about TRUMP?

I thought this was a quote about Obama.

Well, he's white, male, old and rich. Of course he'd feel that way about Trump.

I would also question "a better place." A better place for WHO?

  9. Anonymous4:30 PM

Ah, yes, fame-whores on the rise.....those who would say anything, do anything, just to titillate a reaction for their own benefit. Same old $arah.

  10. Anonymous4:42 PM

Trump is working to make his 'beloved country' a better place? Who knew? And the billionaire with the golden commodes is doing it with silent humility and for free. Now that is altruism and patriotism at its finest. /s

  11. Anonymous4:43 PM

I despise that son of a bitch. He is an impossible right wing loving idiotic bastard. He probably admires Palin too. I like to tweet insults to him from time to time when he says shit. He is such an asshole.

  12. Anonymous4:52 PM

It is truly a rare moment that you witness such incredible levels of cognitive dissonance and double standards. Yet here we are.

  13. Anonymous5:07 PM

I saw that. I thought he was doing some kind of strange snark. He really is crazy, heh?

    1. He's crazy, and vicious, and bigoted, and angry, and hateful, and in general, just a disgusting, nasty pig.

  14. Anonymous5:22 PM

He plays himself in the movies most of the time : a pathological liar and a fien. Just look at all his roles; fit his real life persona very well.
Sarah Palin was cursed the day she was "discovered " by McCain. She lost her soul for fame and she as a Christian should know this : the devil is waiting to collect his end of the bargain.

    1. Anonymous5:32 PM

What happened to Sarah's son with the Oxycontin addiction? I heard he went on to beat his wives and kids.

    2. Anonymous10:52 PM

Sarah would be interested in Trump and the opiod crisis in the country. I will check her blog tomorrow. I would like to know what she says about something so close to home for her.

I see Sarah as loyal to Trump, loyal like no other. She will want to focus on the opiods. Remind her about the people that want to be kept up to date about the conflict with North Korea.

    3. Anonymous10:58 PM

Dream Alaska may be there 532. Who wanted to buy that property? Cough. Hey Sarah.
      Still stalking that cash cow?

    4. Anonymous6:02 AM

KellyAnne talks and addresses the opioid crisis.

Sarah Palin, Bristol and Dakota Palin will be behind this and pass on the information. KellyAnnes talks about the new born babies coming into the world as an addict now, it is an increasing number. Babies are Bristols thing. Track is also making babies to raise.

Also the issues in the Veterans community. As is well known the Palin son and brother is addicted to Oxycontin.

The most being done for this problem is at the community level.

Wasilla is famous as a drug hub and also all the illegitimate babies born to addict mothers are prolific.

The Veteran issues are no stranger to Sarah Palin's community. Sarah can really open up now and tell about the work she and her family are doing. Secrets are toxic and will only keep the darkness growing darker.

    5. Anonymous8:35 AM

Palins work? Focus? Care? Seriously? As hillbillies say, all Palins do is keep running their mouths.

  15. Anonymous5:23 PM

I think the key line here is 'work for free', My President O took a salary. Trump is not taking a salary and instead bleeding the gov't coffers dry.

    1. Anonymous8:04 PM

Yeah, he's not taking a salary. But we know he's getting money from the United States coffers somehow. Putin showed him how to do it.

    2. Anonymous1:54 AM

Staying at his properties when he travels, then $$$$ flow into tRump's bank account. The paycheck is chickenfeed, compared to what he and his family are draining from the taxpayers. Fat, greedy, orange, dumbass.tRump is a disaster as president. Has no idea what he is doing, since he never worked a day in his shitty life.

    3. Anonymous8:37 AM

Trump is taking a salary. So he makes a public display of donating it. Big deal. That's not working for free.

  16. Anonymous5:33 PM

Fuck you Woods. You fucking freak.
Oh !!!! And Rachel just had a guy on who stated that the US and South Korea are having military drills the end of August.
Mark my words...this is what I have been saying will happen. North Korea will interpret the drill as a real attack and we are off to the races.
I fucking knew it. Fuckkity fuck fuck!

    1. Anonymous7:41 PM

North Korea has already addressed this and while they do not like the fact that we are having drills, they realize they are drills and not an actual attack.

    2. Anonymous8:04 PM

Trump's outburst came just a day after his secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, had made an offer of talks if North Korea halted its missile tests.

Trump is 'donating' his quarterly checks-then taking a tax deduction. So he is screwing us by not paying any taxes on his salary, AND taking away rightful revenue. He is not working for free. Nor is he working.

    1. Anonymous8:06 PM

Yeah, he's not working. He's just a loud mouthed symbol in the White House. Everytime he opens his fucking mouth shit comes out, and we have a crisis. Get him the fuck out of the White House, and take Steve Bannon with him too. Assholes of the United States.

    Does Jared carry the football?

Behind The Jared And Ivanka PR Machine

    3. Anonymous10:21 PM

Trump says this is a working vacation. I don't know where the retired general Kelly is, it doesn't look like he is working. Jared and Ivanka are working, they are with the president. That means they were advising the president. I don't think he wrote that threat by himself. It could only be with Ivanka and Jared. Melania is with them, she may have helped.

    4. Anonymous10:36 PM

"Amid the rolling White House chaos, in story after story, they(Jared/Ivanka) are depicted as sober advocates for big hires or required firings — or both, in the case of former communications director Anthony Scaramucci. They are crucial advisers, sure, but when things don’t go their way and the president lurches in some disfavored direction, anonymous allies deftly temper expectations about what the couple can really achieve, while their internal enemies pounce."

We the people have a right to know who was advising President Trump when he was working at his golf estate. We only know of the two crucial advisers being with him. Working on the opiod event and the very critical threat to North Korea.

  19. Anonymous6:04 PM

The sad aspect of today’s dust up with North Korea is I'm unable to sense any concern by Trump for anyone but himself. His ego is oversized to the point I believe he uses his children and his wife to advance any agenda that creates a spotlight for his pathological need for attention, good or bad. What does this mean for civilization in a time of ramped up nuclear tensions.? Who knows. It may all be a stage to him. I just hope somewhere in that ugly soul he can love his children enough to safeguard theirs and our futures.

    1. Anonymous6:21 PM

He can safeguard his children by having a golden bomb shelter. Or he can leave the country if it is uninhabitable. He is a narcissist.

    2. Anonymous7:12 PM

those golden bomb shelters are pretty nice. The have golden bedrooms, golden kitchens and golden closets. They even have golden bathrooms. I bet Drumpf's golden bomb shelter has golden showers. I just bet it does!

If there's a nuclear war, I don't want to survive it. Let Trump and the Trumpians inherit a scorched earth. Dumb asses.

The incident is seen as yet another example of Trump undermining American credibility and escalating tensions in the Korean Peninsula

Trump must find the No. Korean leaker and prosecute

  27. Anonymous9:46 PM

Donald Trump is the reigning king of American victimhood.

He is unceasingly pained, injured, aggrieved.

The primaries were unfair. The debates were unfair. The general election was unfair.

“No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly,” he laments.

People refuse to reach past his flaws — which are legion! — and pat him on the back. People refuse to praise his minimal effort and minimal efficacy. They refuse to ignore that the legend he created about himself is a lie. People’s insistence on truth and honest appraisal is so annoying. It’s all so terribly unfair.

It is in this near perfect state of perpetual aggrievement that Trump gives voice to a faction of America that also feels aggrieved. Trump won because he whines. He whines in a way that makes the weak feel less vulnerable and more vicious. He makes feeling sorry for himself feel like fighting back.

In this way he was a perfect reflection of the new Whiny Right. Trump is its instrument, articulation, embodiment. He’s not so much representative of it but of an idea — the waning power of whiteness, privilege, patriarchy, access, and the cultural and economic surety that accrues to the possessors of such. Trump represents their emerging status of victims-in-their-own-minds.

Magnificent essay. Bravo, bravo, bravo, Mr. Blow.

The way they see it, they are victims of coastal and urban liberals and the elite institutions — economic, education and entertainment — clustered there. They are victims of an economy evolving in ways, both technical and geographic, that cuts them out or leaves them behind. They are victims of immigration and shifting American demographics. They are victims of shifting, cultural mores. They are victims of Washington.

No one speaks to these insecurities like the human manifestation of insecurity himself: Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is their death rattle: That unsettling sound a body makes when death nears.

But, Trump’s whining is not some clever Machiavellian tactic, precisely tuned for these times. Trump’s whining is genuine. He pretends to be ferocious, but is actually embarrassingly fragile. His bravado is all illusion. The lion is a coward. And, he licks his wounds until they are raw.

Now, pour into this hollow man Steve Bannon’s toxic, apocalyptic nationalism and his professed mission — “deconstruction of the administrative state” — and you get a perfect storm of extreme orthodoxy and extreme insecurity.

Trump becomes a tool of those in possession of legacy power in this country — and those who feel that power is their rightful inheritance — who are pulling every possible lever to enshrine and cement that power. Suppressing the vote. Restricting immigration. Putting the brakes on cultural inclusion.

Make America great again. Turn back the clock to a time when privileges of whiteness were supreme and unassailable, misogyny was simply viewed as an extension of masculinity, women got back-alley abortions and worked for partial wages, coal was king and global warming was purely academic, and trans people weren’t in our bathrooms or barracks. The good old days.

Now the power of the presidency is deployed in this pursuit. The only thing that holds the line against absolute calamity is the fact that Trump lacks focus and hates work.

...“Trump’s unique take on accuracy goes back decades,” Borger added.

Schwartz, who helped write Trump’s “Art of the Deal,” has previously described Trump’s lies as “truthful hyperbole.”

“I called it an innocent form of exaggeration,” Schwartz said of the phrase. “The problem is that there is no such thing as truthful hyperbole. The truth is the truth. Hyperbole is a lie. They don’t go together.”

Jack O’Donnell, a former Vice President of Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, described the president as “wrapped up in hyperbole.”

“It’s almost constant lies,” O’Donnell said.

“There’s no belief system,” Schwartz continued. “If it will work, I will say it. If it stops working, I’ll say it’s the opposite and I will not feel any compunction about saying it’s opposite because I don’t believe anything in the first place.”

“Seeing it from his perspective, he doesn’t make a distinction between what’s true and what’s false. His only distinction is what will work and what will not work. And if it happens to be true, okay, he’ll live with that, that’s fine.”

“But there’s no governor in his mind that says, ‘You know what? I’m really am pissed off about somebody saying something like that, but I’m not going to lie in response to it.’ That doesn’t exist inside his brain. It’s just not there.”

“That’s the nature of not having a conscience,” Schwartz said.

“He has a genius, you know, perverse genius for turning any situation into something that is evidence of his brilliance,” Schwartz added. “Even if it’s not true.”

    3. Anonymous9:42 AM

I am wondering who all is thinking of killing him before he kills off the planet. Serious. We don't legally assinate dangerous leaders. Think Saddam, Gaddafi and so many others. We would not kill them or talk about that. However, that is thought about and secretly talked, since they do so much damage.

Now it must be Trump that others (foreign countries) are considering their options. One way or another he has to go. All things considered when saving lives.

There was a movie made based on Steven King's books.
    Christopher Walken acted in it.
The story goes that he was in a coma and when he came out of it years later, he could see the future.
Christopher Walken's character saw Martin Sheen's character as president who was ready to press the nuclear codes based. This character is exactly like Trump. In the movie he believed God had chosen him to do press the button. It's uncanny how Steven King could tell that in our future we would now have a crazy president. If that's the case that some writers are able to foretell the behavior of humans. If so, we'd better be scared. Because in Cormack McCarthy's book, "The Road" what would happen should some asshat press the buttons is not going to be pretty. You can't undo nuclear material.

"The Department of Justice reversed its position Monday on an important case before the Supreme Court that deals with state procedures for removing people from the voter rolls. The move signals another break with Obama administration policy on voting issues and, according to critics, shows how hostile the Trump Justice Department will be to voting rights.

Under the Obama administration, the Justice Department supported a challenge to one of the ways Ohio purges voters from its rolls. If someone hasn’t voted in two years, the state sends them a confirmation notice and then removes them from the rolls if they don’t respond and fail to vote for an additional four years.

Challengers argue that this process violates federal law, which prohibits removing people from the voter rolls simply for not voting. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit agreed.

Now, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case next term, and in a filing on Monday, the Department of Justice said the Ohio process was legal and didn’t violate the 1993 National Voter Registration Act or the 2002 Help America Vote Act."

"“It’s quite rare for the DOJ to change course after ... filing a brief in the court of appeals: the Solicitor General’s office is often called the ′Tenth Justice,′ in part because while reversals happen, there’s a thumb on the scale to treat DOJ filings with some internal quasi-precedential weight,” he wrote in a blog post.

Levitt also noted that career civil rights attorneys had not signed the department’s brief, a signal that they may disagree with its content.

The Trump Justice Department is undermining the ability of people to vote, said Brenda Wright, the vice president of policy and legal strategies at Dēmos, which is representing the plaintiffs in the Ohio case."

"The Ohio brief also signals the department’s continued interest in voter purging procedures. In June, the department sent out a letter to all 44 states covered by NVRA asking election officials to describe their compliance with voter purging procedures.

Voting rights advocates said it was unusual for the Justice Department to send such a broad letter to so many states and worried that the department was preparing to force states to kick people off the rolls."

"Vanita Gupta, the former head of the Justice Department’s civil rights division under the Obama administration, said in a statement the shift in DOJ’s position “raises real concerns about the politicization of the Justice Department’s historic role in protecting voting rights.”"

Obviously neither James Woods nor Sarah Palin has paid any attention? Trump's not working "for free!" He's making money hand over fist as president. Every moment he's at one of his golf clubs or at one of his hotels, the government is paying him. By making "donations" of his presidential pay checks, he's getting some back as deductions for charity, probably the only ones he's ever been able to take, not being a very charitable man. Nothing Donald Trump ever does benefits anyone but him. The same thing could be said of Sarah Palin, on a lesser scale, so she obviously could not understand but is James Wood also a grifter? I have no idea, not having heard his name in years.
