I saw Kingsman: The Golden Circle on Tuesday. (Julianne Moore was marvelous as the evil Poppy. Must have been all that practice she had playing Palin.) In the movie the president (Bruce Greenwood) tells his Chief of Staff that he is going to let all of the junkies and addicts die from the poisoned recreational drugs, thus ending the war on drugs forever.
In the end he was arrested and the Chief of Staff stated he would be impeached. The theater errupted in applause.

Unfortunately, I doubt this little reveal will have any more impact than any of the previous DEPLORABLE character flaws that have emerged.

Any bystander that intervenes opens themselves up to a liability lawsuit if that injured person suffers further injury from their ministrations.
