New Jersey teenager celebrated 2018 by taking a semi-automatic rifle and killing almost every member of his family.

Courtesy of WPVI-TV:

Minutes before midnight on New Year's Eve, a 16-year-old boy allegedly used a semi-automatic rifle owned by a family member to shoot and kill his parents, sister and a family friend inside the parents' home in a coastal city in New Jersey, the county prosecutor said.

The teen, whose name has not been released, is in police custody in connection with the shooting deaths of his father, Steven Kologi, 44; mother, Linda Kologi, 42; sister, Brittany Kologi, 18; and a family friend, Mary Schultz, 70, who was residing at the Kologi home in Long Branch, New Jersey, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni and a statement from his office.

The teen's brother and grandfather apparently escaped harm. They "thankfully left the home and came out OK," Gramiccioni said at a press conference Monday morning.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after receiving a call from inside the home about shots fired at 11:43 p.m. on Dec. 31, a statement from the prosecutor's office said.

The boy was arrested at the scene without incident, Gramiccioni said.

Boy it sure is a good thing we have that old 2nd Amendment to keep us safe, don't you think?

Just imagine how long it would have taken a teenager in Australia, Germany, or Britain to slaughter his entire family with a kitchen knife or an axe.

Could have taken as long as a half hour, and more of them might have been able to get away.

But not in America by god. When it comes to murder, we have the best tools to make it highly efficient.

  1. Bloody Limeys had 5 gun deaths last year, four of which were terrorists killed by cop.

Wonder which Drumpf Tweet set this tool off?

I'm trying really hard to feel bad for these parents but damn it is hard! I am o.k. with sane RESPONSIBLE adults owning guns. But responsible means that the guns are LOCKED UP. Especially if you have kids in the home. Double especially, if the kid has signs of mental problems like this probably had. IMO if you aren't a Responsible gun owner than you deserve anything you get. I'm kind of relieved that this kid shot these irresponsible jackasses rather than truly innocent people.

my father taught us how to use a gun. he also kept them locked at times when he was not using them. unloaded. you tell a member of the NRA to keep their guns unloaded and kept away from children they'll start screaming about their "rights". i've tried.

Obviously there weren't enough readily accessible guns in the home. If there had been, some of the family members may have been able to return fire ala 'rump's fantasy of good guys stopping bad guys by throwing some lead back in their direction....like 'rump fantasizes he would do in such a situation.

The Republican party defunded our public school system. They have been aggressively working to dumb down America for many years. Our tax dollars are going to private brainwashing schools instead of our public school systems. The student loans for trump U and various bogus schools throws young adults into immediate debt. Over priced costly bogus schools and predator loans. The cost of this ignorance is beyond belief. At every level we have evidence and outcome. Solutions? Eliminate vouchers, back to basics, lift the profession and importance of education. Stop predators loans for bogus schools. Regulate. Educate. Eliminate. Our Communities, leaders, parents, educators are all part of the solution. The cost of ignorance is too much. Like healthcare, education must be owned by and for the people. We cannot allow for profit business to continue profiting on war, ignorance and health outcomes. Time to demand basic rights of Americans. Our tax dollars are to improve the basic life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for all americans. We are witnessing the highest crime against America today. Treason by one political party.

It would take you an hour and a half to kill 4 family members with an axe and knife? What are you in a wheelchair with oxygen, and took an hour and twenty minute nap in the middle of it?

So this is a prime example of what Mark kelly was talking about. After trump took credit for there being no commercial airline crash deaths in 2017, Kelly opined that if he wad responsible for that, then he was also responsible for all the gun deaths during his, administration. No response from trump. Oh, wait. Kelly is a white male. Now if he was a black woman, the tweet shit storm from trump would b raining down

Former White House Ethics Lawyer Says Trump’s Treasonous Money Laundering Game Is Up

'I think the game’s up here for President Trump. Steve Bannon was an insider in the Trump campaign, and inside the White House, all the way through last August. And he knows what’s going on. He has the facts, because he’s been in on the meetings with all these people. He may not have been at the Trump Tower meeting but I would be shocked if he didn’t have knowledge of that before the public did. And he also has knowledge about the inside facts about what’s going on. He is a material witness, and he may have been part of this treason, but for whatever reason he’s now disclosing what he knows, at least in generalities, and acknowledging that it was treasonous.

It’s not something we have to prosecute under the treason provisions of the Constitution. There are plenty of ways of dealing with treasonous behavior and Robert Mueller is on top of it. And it may very well involve money laundering. And that’s what Robert Mueller is going to find out. But this Russia investigation is real, and I’ve been a Republican for 30 years, I would like to support Republicans, but I am not going to support any Republican who refuses to acknowledge that we have a serious problem on our hands. And Congress needs to stop trashing on Robert Mueller, making up stories about Robert Mueller, and focus on its own investigation of what happened in 2016, the election, money laundering, and any other connections with the Russians inside our government or for any of the families of people inside our government. This is very, very serious.

Steve Bannon was very careful not spill any details, but the words money laundering are being used more frequently to describe the focus of the Russia investigation. Bannon’s quotes are his first efforts to distance himself from the Russia scandal, and they send a clear signal to investigators that he will ready and willing to sing like a bird in order to take down his former White House rival Jared Kushner.'
