A no pulling our punches comic to start your day.

I don't really have anything more to add than to say that this is just as gross as it is accurate.

Brutal, but accurate. Also, watch out for something extra crazy from Trump today. He’s going to want to deflect attention after the Stormy Daniels interview last night.

I only wanted background checks. Now the NRA is acting the fool I'm wondering what
    They have to hide.

Bans don't work. Hit the owners where it matters most, the pocketbook. Licenses, insurance, and how-to classes. That is what I want for any owner of a firearm. We do it for cars. Seems reasonable. Therefore it will be decried as taking away everything!!!!!!

"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Sorry, but cars are not a guaranteed Constitutional right, firearms are, without infringement.

    2. 9:06 Quote the whole damned amendment and leave out the NRA interpretive bullshit.

There is already infringement. It isn't unconstitutional to impose further REGULATIONS.

      Asshole.

It seems the NRA members are the deranged ones we aim to deny gun ownership, it is no wonder they are very afraid. They are the examples of people who should not own guns of ANYKIND. The Russian NRA really blew their cover.

    Here is some good news!!!!
    =======================================
Frontier gun maker Remington seeks bankruptcy protection
By The Associated Press - The Associated Press

Remington, a company that began making flintlock rifles when there were only 19 United States, has filed for bankruptcy protection.
Mounting debts at the arms manufacturer have snowballed, ironically, since the election of Donald Trump, who has called himself a "true friend" to the gun industry.
………..Panic sales that drove revenue for gun makers ever higher evaporated with Trump's arrival in the White House, and Remington's production of one of the most well-known weapons in the world, the Bushmaster AR-15, have overwhelmed the Madison, North Carolina, company.
The Bushmaster AR-15 rifle was used in the Sandy Hook shooting in Connecticut in which 20 first-graders and six educators were killed in 2012.
The same gun was used to kill 17 in a Parkland, Florida, high school, a massacre that lead to drew hundreds of thousands of anti-gun violence protesters to the capital and to the streets in cities across the nation this past weekend.
The company was cleared of wrongdoing in the Sandy Hook shooting, but investors wanted nothing to do with it. Cerberus Capital Management, which had acquired the company in 2007 as gun sales began to boom, tried to sell it less than a week after the shooting.
    There were no takers.
But it was larger trends already underway that doomed Remington.
Arms manufacturers had for years ramped up production as gun ownership became a red-hot social, and political flashpoint. Some gun-rights advocates have binged on guns on the misguided belief that a Democratic administration would harshly restrict gun sales.
Those misperceptions became moot with Trump's rise to the White House………..
In 2017, firearm background checks, a good barometer of sales, declined faster than in any year since 1998, when the FBI first began compiling that data.
But there were clear signs that gun sales, even as production increased, were already in decline. By 2015 Cold Holdings Co., another storied gun maker, had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

    1. The creditors are going to run the company now. And you know what that means; money, marketing and bottom line rules.

Look for a LOT of Remington AR-15s, high capacity magazines and bump stocks hitting the markets. They'll also be pressuring the likes of Walmart to increase shelf space for all those shiny new Remington products. Name recognition and all that.

The NRA cowards went after the students for marching. You can't go much lower than smearing students in order to further your agenda.

Their propaganda is falling on deaf ears, the American public has had enough and the NRA is going down.

Once apond a time there was an America without assault weapons on our streets. They were used in military and training for combat in wars. Then they came home with soldiers along with the attitude that americans need them. Many soldiers came home with Ptsd, Paranoia, Trauma. Many hired in certain positions. Law enforcement did not need usa citizens with military weapons and in survival mode. The NRA flooded this country with assault weapons and a hateful attitude claiming the 2nd amendment right to own. What a crock of shit sold to the average moron. Gun shows are wrong, flooding the country with any type of gun is wrong, confusing the public about the 2nd is wrong. Hold those accountable, remove the assault weapons from the public. And dismantle the NRA corruption. As young as the kids are? They have commonsense, they know right from wrong. NO amount of Russian brainwashing through facebook will change that.

The gun manufacturers donate to the NRA. Quid pro quo.

      http://www.businessinsider.com/gun-industry-funds-nra-2013-1

"Since 2005, the gun industry and its corporate allies have given between $20 million and $52.6 million to it through the NRA Ring of Freedom sponsor program. Donors include firearm companies like Midway USA, Springfield Armory Inc, Pierce Bullet Seal Target Systems, and Beretta USA Corporation. Other supporters from the gun industry include Cabala's, Sturm Rugar & Co, and Smith & Wesson.

The NRA also made $20.9 million — about 10 percent of its revenue — from selling advertising to industry companies marketing products in its many publications in 2010, according to the IRS Form 990.

Additionally, some companies donate portions of sales directly to the NRA. Crimson Trace, which makes laser sights, donates 10 percent of each sale to the NRA. Taurus buys an NRA membership for everyone who buys one of their guns. Sturm Rugar gives $1 to the NRA for each gun sold, which amounts to millions. The NRA's revenues are intrinsically linked to the success of the gun business.

The NRA Foundation also collects hundreds of thousands of dollars from the industry, which it then gives to local-level organizations for training and equipment purchases."

That's selling guns. Not directly. They are the MARKETING arm of the gun industry.

OT?"Lawyers defending Noor Salman, the wife of Omar Mateen, the gunman who killed 49 at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, have uncovered documents showing that Seddique Mateen, Omar's father, was an FBI informant from 2005 to 2016.

The lawyers are now using that revelation, and its late discovery in the trial, to call for a mistrial in Salman's case. She's facing life in prison on charges of aiding and abetting her husband and obstructing a federal investigation, according to Orlando's News 6."
