Now out of the White House Hope Hicks is being inundated with proposals to write a book.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Book publishers have already begun contacting White House communications director Hope Hicks to obtain the rights to her memoir upon her exit from the Trump administration, the British tabloid Daily Mail reported Thursday.

The 29-year-old longtime Trump aide could be expected to make up to $10 million from an advance to a book deal and is actively being contacted by movie and TV producers as well, the Mail reported.

"Next to Ivanka and Melania, Hope is the woman closest to the president," one publishing executive told the Mail. "[She] knows all the secrets, all the foibles, all the quirks."

One White House insider also told the website that Hicks reportedly kept a "detailed diary" of her interactions and time in the White House, a resource that could be a major asset if she plans to write a memoir.

First off I have to imagine that Robert Mueller wants first crack at that "detailed diary" which according to Vanity Fair he may have been trying to get his hands on for awhile:

Hicks has racked up substantial legal fees, one source told me. “She’s in immense personal jeopardy,” one Republican close to the White House said yesterday. “This is a sign the Mueller investigation is a lot more serious than any one of us thought.”

And secondly of course Hicks was forced to sign a binding NDA.

However the vast amount of money she could make from a book deal, and the almost certain movie made based on that book, may be more than enough to pay for any financial penalty contained in a non-disclosure agreement.

And keep this in mind as well.

Courtesy of Politico:

President Donald Trump’s lawyers have urged him not to discuss details of the unfolding Russia investigation with anyone outside his legal team, warning of a conversational “bright line” that could put aides and associates in legal jeopardy, according to current and former Trump aides.

But Trump often ignores that legal advice in the presence of senior aides — including his departing confidante and White House communications director, Hope Hicks.

“I think the president has put her in a very precarious position,” a senior Trump administration official said in a recent interview.

And just imagine everything else that she knows.

Yeah I am already clearing a space on my bookshelf for this book.

    Bitchin' and complainin'

...Reps. Chris Stewart (R-UT) and Tom Rooney (R-FL) say Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee questioned White House Communications Director Hope Hicks in a manner that forced her to acknowledge she sometimes tells “white lies” for President Donald Trump.

“It truly was just a setup of this witness, who was trying to be forthright and honest,” Stewart told CNN Friday. “The question was so broad. It was, ‘In any circumstances, regardless of what it might be, have you ever felt any pressure to be deceitful or to be dishonest regarding any subject?’ And she answered it honestly. And that is, anyone in that circumstance, there is none of us in our lives that can say we have always been 100 percent honest.”

On Tuesday, Hicks spent nine hours testifying in front of the House Intelligence Committee and reportedly admitted that she occasionally tells “white lies” for Trump.

Stewart also told CNN that Republicans interrupted the Democrats line of questioning to clarify whether Hicks had been untruthful in connection with the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and she answered saying “no, absolutely not.”

Rep. Rooney made similar claims on Wednesday, saying the line of questions — which was reportedly led by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) — was “bullshit” and a “trap.”

“They sent her down a rabbit hole that she could not get out of.

Which is more important to know?

      THIS:
The boss has a history of asking subordinates to lie for him? (But they are little "white lies" and supposedly not ever about anything Russia because Russia is FAKE NEWZ + whatabout Hillary's emails?!!)

      OR THAT:
The subordinate has a history of lying (either because the boss asked her to lie, or she just decided lying was "the right thing to do"). However everyone would like you to know: But they are little "white lies" and supposedly not ever about anything Russia (because Russia is FAKE NEWZ + whatabout Hillary's emails?!!)

Either way there might be a pattern of BAD BEHAVIOR the judge might take into consideration when tghe perps are walked!

White lies: sorry, he's not here to take your call right now." In which case she gives that as an example. But nooooo, she resigned over it, means it was much more serious. Can't wait 'til Mueller gets ahold of her for questioning. That hair toss won't work with Mr. Mueller, unlike these Republican led by their "little heads suck ups.

Is the NDA legal in her current, soon to be gone job? She no longer works for Trump she is an employee of the United States who serves at the pleasure of the president (snark as you want with that sentence).

She would not be able to talk about pre-White House days, or anything classified or Executive Privilege, but basic Trump foibles and day to day stories and duties are wide open, I would think

    1. MMMmm. I don't think so.

Sans the pre-White House and security/classified stuff there is PLENTY of dirt and gossip she could write about that will more than compensate for that obscene advance.

If she sells the book for beyond that juicy $10 million advance, plus sells the movie and TV rights, she won't have to work another day in her life, even after the dust settles and all the bills are paid.

Government employees are not bound by NDA,but since everyone in this administration is either clueless about the law or a criminal, what difference does it make.

Federal employees can't be forced to sign certain NDAs. She might have signed one prior to her employment as a federal employee.

Additionally, NDAs won't apply in the case of criminal activity.

If she really was keeping a diary of discussions, then Mueller probably already has already gotten his hands on it.

Can Donald Trump have his White House staff sign non-disclosure agreements?

'Probably not. Aside from the fact that many of the positions in a presidential administration are created by statute and may have specific requirements related to public access and full disclosure, the Freedom of Information Act would likely also prohibit NDAs in cases that don’t involve national security.'

Trump Can’t Legally Make New Staff Sign NDAs—Yet
The president-elect would love to bar his White House team from sharing insider details or disparaging him, but he can’t do so legally—at least for now.

...In an interview with The Washington Post in March, Trump told reporter Robert Costa that if he won the White House, he would want to require his new team, who would all be federal employees, to also sign NDAs.

“I don’t know, there could be some kind of a law that you can’t do this,” he said (fact check: true). “But when people are chosen by a man to go into government at high levels and then they leave government and they write a book about a man and say a lot of things that were really guarded and personal, I don’t like that.”

Cheri Cannon, an employment-law specialist in Washington, D.C., said federal employees are required to protect classified information, secret information, personnel decisions, and sensitive contracts in multiple ways as a condition of their employment.

But there’s no way for a President Trump to prevent his political appointees from talking about him and his family, other than showing them the door, she said. Career federal employees have protections that even Trump can’t touch.

“You have a First Amendment right to trash-talk your boss,” Cannon said. “There’s nothing in the world that can stop Joe Blow, Commerce Department employee, from trash-talking the president. You don’t see that a lot, but it could happen.”

Cannon noted that that political appointees all serve without due process “at the pleasure of the president” and can be fired for any reason, including for disparaging Trump. But they can’t be silenced.

“The political appointees are going to lose their jobs,” Cannon said. “Career people can’t lose their jobs, not for speaking their minds.”

“We want Americans to stop being afraid of demanding our politicians to take action. They work for us, we don’t work for them. The #MarchForOurLives is us coming out and saying to our employees, you guys suck at your job,” Kasky said.

Hogg noted that the Tallahassee politicians gave them the run-around and tried to switch the conversation of banning assault weapons to talk about family values and pornography.

Maher was shocked that the leaders did something so incredibly stupid.

“I said they should stop looking at that stuff and start looking at our lives,” Hogg said.

Kasky said that many have called them out for “not knowing what we’re talking about” but until they’ve had to be on the other end of an AR-15 they have nothing to talk about.

“We are the experts… How dare you tell us we don’t know what we’re talking about!” he exclaimed.

Maher argued that gun control advocates have to go after the Second Amendment because the U.S. treats it like a “right” while other nations treat it as a privilege.

Hogg confessed that the White House called him the day before the listening session and he hung up on them. He said that he would be at the CNN town hall and asked President Donald Trump to join them.

“To all of the generations before us, we sincerely accept your apology for f*cking up our country,” Kasky closed by saying.

Leaked Emails Appear To Show A Top Trump Fundraiser Abusing His Power

The messages suggest that Elliott Broidy tried to use his influence with the Trump administration for personal gain.

Emails and documents an anonymous group leaked to HuffPost this week appear to show a Los Angeles lawyer asking for more than $80 million to scuttle a Department of Justice investigation into a multibillion-dollar scandal involving Van Gogh paintings, the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street,” the prime minister of Malaysia — and the lawyer’s husband, a Republican National Committee deputy finance chair Elliott Broidy, trying to use his influence with the Trump administration to help.

That huge advance is all the more reason for her to flip on Trump and stay out of prison. Money won't do her any good in prison. And won't be a lot left to spend if the lawyers eat it up trying to keep her from being convicted.

There is talk that she already flipped. Why waste what's left of her life on Trump?

    2. I don't think she's as stupid as people think she is. I think she is shrewd and ambitious.

I think she cultivated Ivanka in order to get to Donald to get to the position she is in now. And yes, I wouldn't put it past her to trade sexual favors for whatever she wanted. But she is not a dumb bimbo. She kept a "detailed diary." I think we can see why now. Insurance. Hedging her bets. She knew at some point she could use it to make money. I'm sure she's also using it to stay out of prison and cut a deal with Mueller. I'll be she does no jail time and is still a multimillionaire when the dust settles and all the lawyers are paid off.

Book deal will START at a $10 million advance and she'll get more once the book is out and on the best seller list. She'll see to that. Then she'll have money from the movie rights, TV deals and you can bet she'll get even more cash as a "consultant" or "executive producer".

Her family remembers her as young and naive. I think she probably grew up fast and hard given the company she was keeping. She watched. She learned. And now she's going to rake in the pay off.

She'll never have to work another day of her life if she's smart and manages her money wisely. And she won't have to marry a sugar Daddy to "keep" her either. I'm sure years of observing Trump and #3 taught her that.

Regarding bullying and its affects. It’s hard to know now a bullied person will react. If it’s public bullying, and the victim doesn’t kkkr attention, having the best parents isn’t going to matter.

But not everyone is blessed to have amazing parents like Palins. They’re the most bullied in the world and even the 9 yr old understands that. And it has helped turn Him into a compassion soul who defends people especially his mom whom he idolizes.
