Unbelievably Sarah Palin has learned NOTHING from these last ten years.

Courtesy of the Washington Examiner:

Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, said she would have a second tilt at the White House "in a heartbeat."

"I would do it again in a heartbeat," Palin said during an interview that aired Sunday on Fox News' "Life, Liberty and Levin" when asked whether she was glad she was chosen to run on Sen. John McCain's ticket.

"I would have push back harder on some of those who were trying to mold me into something that I was not during the campaign. I would've pushed back and gotten more truth out there, but heck yes," she continued.

Palin added that McCain "probably" selected her as his running mate for "political, practical reasons."

"He probably knew they needed someone younger, needed a female and needed a true conservative to balance everything else out and they were smart enough to have chosen someone with a lot of administrative experience. That was my career, it was in administration," she said.

That last part about being an administrator is laugh out loud funny to Alaskans.

This woman could not manage her own family, much less an executive office.

I have no doubt that Palin would accept that VP nomination again "in a heartbeat."

I mean without that her family would never have had the opportunity to embarrass themselves on the national stage in the way that they have, and she might still be considered a possible candidate for political office instead of a bitter dried up old has been.

The REAL question to ask is whether John McCain would have ever chosen her if he had it to do all over again.

As for the idea of running again, well we all know that is just a thing she says to get the mouth breathers all excited.

Sarah Palin is NEVER going to run for the presidency again, and likely not for any other political office either.

Not only is she carrying enough baggage to bring a Himalayan Sherpa to his knees, but her family is always one drunken night, extramarital affair, or unwed pregnancy away from hitting the front pages of tabloids all over the country.

Wait, people still interview Sarah Palin?

Courtesy of Fox News Insider:

The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said she sees "hypocritical double standards" when it comes to the left's push for more gun control measures.

She said all Americans have the constitutional right to protect themselves and their families in the same way celebrities and politicians are protected.

"We have every right, we have a God-given right that’s codified in our Bill of Rights to protect ourselves and to protect our property and our families. It’s not just a select few that government will choose who gets to be protected. The movie stars, the politicians in D.C., those in a courthouse, no. The Bill of Rights does apply to every single citizen of the U.S.," she said.

Responding to President Trump's renewed calls for border security, including using U.S. troops, Palin said it's "obvious" why Democrats are opposed.

"I think that they just fear that Americans aren’t gonna vote Democrat, so by golly they’ll import people who will," she said.

Palin said those in favor of "globalization" want cheap labor and Americans are getting "sick of it."

"It comes back to either supporting the rule of law, our legal immigration system, or supporting and incentivizing illegal immigration with no expectation of assimilating any of the people into our culture or anything else. It’s really whack. People are really sick of it," she said.

It's really whack?

Do you know what else is "really whack?" The fact that Sarah Palin does not understand that you cannot "import" people who will vote the Democratic ticket because they are not yet US citizens.

Unless of course Palin buys into that conspiracy theory that claims the 3 million votes that Hillary Clinton beat Trump by in the popular vote were cast by illegal aliens.

But that's just crazy, right?

Of course the idea that ANYONE would seek an opinion about ANYTHING from this whack-a-doodle has been is equally crazy.

Former DNI James Clapper definitively states that there was NO FISA warrant to tap Donald Trump's phones. Update!

Of course earlier the President's spokesman also denied that he had any involvement in any such action against the Trump campaign:

"A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice," Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis said in a statement Saturday. "As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false."

Which of course now leaves Donald Trump revealed as a conspiracy theory spouting madman.

Louise Mensch, who I identified as being the likely original source of the FISA story, tweeted this in response to Clapper's statement.

It should be noted that though it is likely that Mensch's initial reporting was the impetus for all of this, that it was the Right Wing exaggerations which fired Trump up and sent him on that Twitter tantrum.

And those exaggerations were based on a misreading of the initial story, and of course a desire to put blame on the Obama Administration.

You can see that for yourself in this insane rant from Mark Levin on Fox News earlier today.

And now we have this.
I swear every day is just a little bit more insane than the day before.

Update: Comey chimes in!

Courtesy of the New York Times:

The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, asked the Justice Department this weekend to publicly reject President Trump’s assertion that President Barack Obama ordered the tapping of Mr. Trump’s phones, senior American officials said on Sunday. Mr. Comey has argued that the highly charged claim is false and must be corrected, they said, but the department has not released any such statement.

Well that just left Trump to dangle in the wind all on his own.

Donald Trump is now accusing President Obama of tapping his phones.

Okay as of right now most news outlets have no freaking idea what Trump is talking about here.

Now it is possible that somebody brought an article written by our friend Louise Mensch back in November to Trump's attention.

Here is the article:

Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.

Contrary to earlier reporting in the New York Times, which cited FBI sources as saying that the agency did not believe that the private server in Donald Trump’s Trump Tower which was connected to a Russian bank had any nefarious purpose, the FBI’s counter-intelligence arm, sources say, re-drew an earlier FISA court request around possible financial and banking offenses related to the server. The first request, which, sources say, named Trump, was denied back in June, but the second was drawn more narrowly and was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank. While the Times story speaks of metadata, sources suggest that a FISA warrant was granted to look at the full content of emails and other related documents that may concern US persons.

As you can see this talks about a FISA court request from the FBI concerning one particular server.

The fact that they would have needed a warrant of course means that this is NOT, in any way, like what Nixon did during his administration, nor does it necessarily suggest that the FBI was allowed to tap Trump's phones.

What DO know is that American intelligence agencies WERE tracking the phone calls coming in and out of Russia and that THAT was how they found out that a number of Trump's campaign staff and administration staff had been in contact with certain unsavory folks connected to the Russian government.

Apparently Trump's current freakout is linked to Mark Levin's radio show where he cited these articles and then exaggerated what they said to suggest that the Obama Administration used "police state" tactics to undermine the Trump campaign.
Remember Trump only trusts Right Wing news outlets and talk shows that make shit up, or exaggerate facts to fit their agenda.

I think Trump has really rounded the bend on this one.

Mark Levin, or as Sarah Palin calls him "The Great One," is none too happy with her attacks on Ted Cruz.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

Conservative radio host Mark Levin criticized Sarah Palin this afternoon for sinking too low in trying to score “cheap shots” against Ted Cruz.

Palin linked to the website The Conservative Treehouse, which brought up the OpenSecrets list of Cruz’s biggest contributors, including the Club for Growth and Goldman Sachs.

Now, that led to Levin––who has consistently praised Cruz as a principled conservative––to respond to Palin on Facebook:

I'd discourage Governor Palin from linking to an anti-Semitic website to score cheap shots against Cruz. How about we debate the substantive issues that matter to the nation?
Posted by Mark Levin on Saturday, February 13, 2016
Damn, this endorsement of Donald Trump is really working out well for Palin, don'tcha think?

I swear if this keeps up we may all someday have to look back and not only thank Donald Trump for exposing the hypocrisy of the GOP, but for pounding that final nail in Sarah Palin's coffin.

Hang on a second, that idea of thanking Trump for anything made me gag a little.

Sarah Palin endorses conservative book club. Yes, you read that right.

Courtesy of the Conservative Book Club:

Former Vice Presidential candidate and governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, joins and endorses the Conservative Book Club! She is also author of the bestselling books Going Rogue: An American Life and Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas. Check out her hilarious endorsement of the Conservative Book Club! She personally came by our office yesterday after participating in the Anti-Iran Nuclear Deal Rally in Washington, DC, with Sen. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

So the woman who could not name any magazines or newspapers that she reads is now promoting a book club.

Just how deep is this rabbit hole?

If you visit the New Releases section of the website you will see that the authors listed are a Who's Who of WTF? consisting mostly of conservative politicians, talk radio hosts, and Fox News talking heads.

These include Bill O'Reilly, Donald Trump, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, and Dick Cheney.

That's right, Dick "The Iraq War was a great idea" Cheney.

In the children's section they have such classics as "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Patriot, Blue Commie Loving Faggot," "Alexander, and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Government," "Cloudy with a Chance of Pinheads," and of course "Oh the Places You'll Go When You Grow Up and Enlist in the Military to Defend Our Freedoms!"

Of course the great thing about the conservative book club is that all books come with large type since almost all of their members are over sixty.

Next up I understand that Palin will be endorsing a line of totally realistic wigs and one size fits all inflatable boobs.

Sarah Palin's favorite talk radio goes after Ann Coulter concerning her tweets about Donald Trump's immigration policy and stance on abortion.

Courtesy of WND
Courtesy of Mediaite:

Conservative author Ann Coulter tweeted Sunday that Donald Trump’s immigration policy is so awesome, she doesn’t care if he performs abortions in the White House.

The tweet comes after Trump admitted in a Meet the Press interview that it’s possible he donated to Planned Parenthood in the past. Coulter has said that she believes abortion is murder.

Coulter continued to praise Trump on Twitter and even compared him to (Gasp!) Ronald Reagan.

However this did not sit well with Mark Levin who fired back with this:

Oh man this is my favorite part of the Trump candidacy. Watching it make the Right Wing nutjobs fight with each other like caged animals.

By the way guess who was the last loose cannon to get these two to fight?

You guessed it:

Coulter, author of “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America,” had been critical of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, suggesting that she has been injecting herself into the Republican presidential nominating process. Levin questioned the news value of Coulter’s remarks.

“This may get me in trouble, but I don’t really care,” Levin said. “I don’t know what decisions are made to post things on some of these actual wonderful conservative websites. Like, I really like The Daily Caller. I’m trying to remember all the site, not just to mention The Daily — but there’s Ann Coulter, gives a speech to a small Republican Party gathering. And what does she do? She trashes, if not directly but indirectly Sarah Palin.”

And you wondered why Palin was such an ardent supporter of Trump.

Because he is like a much wealthier version of her only with a slightly smaller penis.

Sarah Palin thinks that she and SarahPAC still have influence over American politics. Isn't that adorable?

Courtesy of Little Impotent Annie's Facebook page:

Once again the “Great One” (Wayne Gretzky? Is she talking about Wayne Gretzky?) Mark Levin (Oh, how disappointing.) is spot on for calling out the shameful way the House GOP leadership is targeting good conservatives like Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) who courageously voted against the fiasco that is Obamatrade (I think she means the TPP deal here. But you know everything sounds worse for conservatives when you slap the name "Obama" on it.) that others want to pass before they even know what’s in it. Congressman Meadows deserves our praise, not punishment! But, like the Great One says, apparently the GOP establishment hasn’t learned the lesson of Dave Brat’s unprecedented victory over Eric Cantor last year. The conservative grassroots will no longer stomach politicians who talk the talk to get elected without walking the walk on Capitol Hill. Go ask Eric Cantor how well that worked out for him. (Yeah, you wanna get "Cantored?"  Because you could totally get Cantored!) 2016 is just around the corner, and elephants have long memories. My PAC will be supporting the brave conservatives who stood up against Obamatrade  and encouraging good challengers for those who punish them for their courage.

Okay first off calling this idiot the "Great One" is getting really creepy.

Secondly the idea that ANY politician is quaking in their boots at the prospect that SarahPAC may support a challenger against them during their primary is laugh out loud funny. After all she only donated around five percent of her SarahPAC earnings to candidates in 2014.

The funny thing is that I am more or less in agreement with Palin about the TPP deal, however that is because the TRULY great ones like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have educated us on what is wrong with it.

Mark Levin, Sarah Palin's favorite person since the Gipper kicked the bucket, claims that President Obama is the greatest threat to the Jews since the 1930's. Update!

Courtesy of TPM:

"Barack Obama, as a result of this and the other things he’s doing, including arming up the Islamonazis in Tehran, is the greatest threat the Jews face — not in this country but in Israel — since the 1930s," he said on "The Mark Levin Show."

Levin said that Obama's relationship with Israel and his decision to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran threaten Israeli Jews.

"He’s the greatest threat they face since the 1930s. And I say that because he is doing more now to degrade Israel’s military and defense posture, its intelligence information. He’s doing more now to arm Israel’s enemy than anybody," he said. "He is the greatest threat that that nation faces. And by the way, he’s a great threat to our nation too, as far as I’m concerned."

Not to nitpick the wisdom of the "Great One" here but between the 1930's and now wasn't there something called the Holocaust?

I mean that didn't start until 1941, and that seems substantially more detrimental to the Jewish people than anything that Barack Obama could possibly even dream up.

But hey what do I know? I mean I don't have a radio show that is listened to by the wingnuttiest of the wingnuts, nor am I beloved by so rational a person as Sarah Palin.

And let me say how often I thank my lucky stars for that!

Update for clarification: To those who sent me an e-mail, yes I am aware that Hitler came into power in the early 1930's and that he started persecuting the Jews pretty much right away.

I guess my point was that things became even more deadly for the Jewish people when the Holocaust, or Shoah, was in full swing from 1941 to 1945. It was at this time that the wholesale slaughter of the Jewish people commenced.

Of course the point of Levin's remarks was to make a comparison between President Obama and Adolph Hitler. As if the attempts to negotiate a deal with Iran to not build nuclear weapons instead of attacking them and further destabilizing the region, are on par with the actions of one of the most reviled men in human history.

To sum up Mark Levin is a right wing provocateur who will say essentially anything to stoke the hatred of his lunatic listeners for our President, and no rational person should pay him any attention if it were not for the fact that ignoring these anarchists has proven detrimental to our country in the past.

The traitorous Tundra Twattle is once again calling for a "Convention of States" even though that is virtually an impossibility.

So on her Facebook page Palin's ghostwriter is linking to Bristol's ghostwriter about a subject that NONE of them actually understand.

Here is what Benedict Idiot is saying now:

Tired of Government Gone Wild? Here's What We Can Do About It! Our Founders put a special sort of “emergency cord” right into Article V of our Constitution as a last resort to rein in our wayward federal government drunk on its own power. That article gives states the power to call a convention for the purpose of proposing amendments to the Constitution.

Three states have already successfully passed legislation calling for a Convention of the States, and right now it’s Virginia’s turn. We need every patriot to step up and remind lawmakers in the Old Dominion why we support the Convention of States.

By calling a Convention of the States, average citizens can stop the federal spending spree, power grabs, and other abuses by proposing amendments to rein in the federal government. After the states draft, debate, and vote upon these proposed amendments, they will then be sent to all 50 states for ratification, and three-quarters of the states must agree for any of the proposed amendments to be ratified.

The beauty of this process is that neither the President nor Congress has the authority to stop it. It is truly in the hands of We the People. This idea is really the last recourse of the citizens to rein in DC and restore our country to a Constitutionally limited federal government.

Palin then sends you to Brancy's blog where visitors are being urged to contact their Senators so that they can get this "Convention of States" off the ground.

However what Palin is leaving out is that three states is NOT a groundswell to enact this measure. In fact it is barely a bump.

As I have written before a Convention of States requires two thirds of the states to sign on, and correct me if I'm wrong but three states is a hell of a long way from two thirds of 50.

Not only that but even if they were able to get those two thirds to call for amending the Constitution, then it has to be ratified by three quarters of all states.

Who in the hell thinks that's even remotely possible?

Oh yeah.

OH well, what the hell?

If this is the kind of thing that keeps her few remaining followers busy while the rest of us deal with real problems, then I guess there is no harm.

I mean what else do they have to do besides fight over control of the TV in the day room, finger paint pictures for relatives to hang on their refrigerators, and hoard their medications for their own version of "Fun Freaky Fridays."

Sarah Palin comes out against racism. Wait never mind, she is just using it as an excuse to attack the President.

While attempting to pimp Mark Levin's (The Great One?) admonishment of Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise for meeting with a group of racists ten years ago, Palin decided to add her own special sauce.

Courtesy of Palin's Facebook page:

Defense of this (last decade) racist action is disgusting and wrong, as is defense of the even more recent immoral actions of our President’s with any association he embraced with the racist Jeremiah Wright and the anti-American domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. I’ll add to Levin’s list: Do political “leaders” think Americans are so stupid we don’t recognize the despicable double standard here, and that we’re so weakly complacent that we’ll put up with this?

- Sarah Palin

See what she did there?

She framed her old transparent racist attacks on President Obama, accusing him of being anti-white and "palling around with terrorists," as frustration over the so-called double standard that allows the press to go after Steve Scalise yet leave Obama and his "associations" alone.

Here let me re-frame that last question for you, you moron.

Do YOU think Americans are so stupid that they do not see through the conservative redirection technique of turning every damaging scandal that comes out against a conservative into an attack on the President? Because the only ones that don't see through that are those who are desperate to destroy him in any way that they possibly can, and undermine his time in office.

And of course that includes you.

The President won, not one, but two terms in office. And unlike some people he is clearly going to serve until he has met his obligations and he is replaced in the next election.

So you and your butt hurt conservative pals can just get the fuck over it.

Mark your calendar kids! Tomorrow is the big day where Sarah Palin replaces the "Jersey Shore" reality series as the most embarrassing thing in the state. Well they DID survive Hurricane Sandy.

Source
Okay I swear that is the creepiest poster ever!

Both Lonegan and Levin look like creepers just waiting for Palin's jacket to lose a button or for her to bend over to pick something up. Gross.

Currently Lonegan is 14 points behind Corey Booker and if he really thinks that some radical Right Wing talk radio guy and a disgraced political albatross are going to help him move up, then he is even more ignorant than his critics believe him to be.

Speaking of the disgraced albatross she has also had her ghostwriter put up this bizarre Facebook post:

Friends, please see the article linked below. Consider this school teacher's assignment which mandates that kids undertake the task of deciding the fate of characters in an exercise that can obviously be considered a numbing lesson in “death panels.” Unbelievable.

We’ll be in NJ this Saturday to rally for Steve Lonegan for the U.S. Senate to thank his supporters for pushing back against Obamacare and to halt D.C.-inspired nonsense like this.

We should hope that influential adults could teach the next generation that it is never ethical, it is never right, for our government to take steps towards the destruction of the sanctity of innocent life. And the way to do that is for our culture to condemn and reject the insensitive callus that grows in a society by this kind of thinking. The teacher could hopefully explain how Orwellian and wrong this thinking is. And she'd go on to declare our right to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit if happiness, upon which American exceptionalism was built. I challenge her to do so.

Wait, the school is supposedly teaching the children a lesson that "obviously" numbs them to the idea of non-existent "death panels?" WTF?

She links to an article by Fox News radio host Todd Starnes, in which he takes a high school social studies exercise, examining ethics, and turns it into some kind of Machiavellian manipulation.

Here is what the exercise entails.

The lesson involves 10 people who are in desperate need of kidney dialysis. For Fox News Only For Fox News Only “Unless they receive this procedure, they will die,” the lesson states.

But there’s a problem. The local hospital only has enough machines to support six patients.

“That means four people are not going to live,” the assignment states. “You must decide from the information below which six will survive.”

The choices for who, would, or who would not receive the dialysis included a doctor, lawyer, housewife, teacher, cop, Lutheran minister, ex-convict, a prostitute, college student and a disabled person.

The worksheet also included their ethnicity, their marital status, their age, and whether or not they had any children.

I don't know about all of you but I engaged in similar exercises while in high school and in college. They were a part of my philosophy classes, and they were the impetus for some rather interesting conversations among the students, who were also asked to explain and discuss their decisions. And by the way this was back in the late seventies and early eighties, way, WAY before there was any talk of "death panels" and back when Sarah Palin was still a frumpy high school kid with bad hair and low self esteem.

Now the Todd Starnes article links to another Right Wing rag which contacted the principal of St. Joseph Ogden High School in St. Joseph, IL and received this in response:

“The assignment you are referring to is not a “Death Panel” assignment. The assignment is one in the sociology unit of our Introduction To Social Studies class. The purpose of the assignment is to educate students about social values and how people in our society unfortunately create biases based off of professions, race, gender, etc. The teacher’s goal is to educate students in the fact that these social value biases exist, and that hopefully students will see things from a different perspective after the activity is completed. The teacher’s purpose in the element of the assignment you are referring to is to get students emotionally involved to participate in the classroom discussion, and to open their minds to the fact that they themselves have their own social biases. The assignment has nothing to do with a “Death Panel.”

We encourage parents to contact their son/daughter’s teachers if they have any concerns about an assignment in the classroom. That line of communication typically clears up any potential misunderstanding.”

However apparently that very reasonable and measured response was not good enough for the Whack-a-Doodle from Wasilla, who simply could NOT let an opportunity to talk about "death panels" slip by without vomiting forth some response.

Oh yeah, I think she is going to do wonders for Steve Lonegan's chances in New Jersey. Just like that iceberg helped the Titanic quickly make it to its destination.

Sarah Palin encourages people to hold a book, and then post a picture proving they own one. You know, for America. Update!

This was posted on the Lunatic from Lake Lucille's Facebook page:

Invitation for Americans to roguely illustrate their stand in today's 'Liberty vs Tyranny' war. Post a pic.

"Roguely?" Is she still trying to make up her own language? Where in the hell is her ghostwriter?

She also posted this about the same time just in case you did not know what kind of book she thinks takes a stand for "Liberty vs Tyranny."

Show your support for liberty. Post a pic holding a liberty-loving book!

Yes Mark Levin, who is her favorite author because he is one of the few remaining people on the planet who do not think she has the mental capacity of a toddler whacked out on library paste.

Now it is important to note that Palin is NOT encouraging anybody to actually read a book, just hold one. Because you know holding books makes you look smart. Kind of like wearing glasses after you have had Lasik to correct your vision.

You know I have to admit being a little surprised to see Palin holding a book, I always thought books worked on her kind of like crucifixes did on vampires.

I think it would be a good idea to take up her challenge and send her pictures on Twitter and Facebook of yourself holding up a book.

Here are a few suggestions.

If the idiot wants pictures, let's send her pictures.

Update: So appears that this is what has Palin's nose so out of joint:Friday afternoon on Fox News,

The Five took on the story of an army sergeant and marching band member whose superior officer apparently told him to stop reading books Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and David Limbaugh while on the bus to concerts. Eric Bolling kicked off the segment by defending Sgt. Nathan Sommers against the “disheartening and dangerous” trend of political correctness in the military.

“This is outrageous,” Kimberly Guilfoyle said, before somehow linking the incident to President Obama. “These soldiers and troops are fighting for our freedom every day, and President Obama is stripping them of their freedoms, telling them that they can’t read this or they can’t look at these materials. This is his administration.”

Andrea Tantaros claimed that it was this same trend of political correctness that failed to prevent the Fort Hood shooting, when army psychologists neglected to report Major Nidal Hasan. Sommers “is facing the last form of discrimination,” she said, “which is you’re a Christian or you’re a conservative, and he’s being discriminated against.”

I literally had NO idea what she was talking about this time, so thanks very much to the Anonymous poster who gave me the heads up.

So apparently Klondike Kardashian is still taking her cues from Fox News, most likely in the vain hope that they will toss her another multimillion dollar bone someday in the future to appear on their network.

Don't hold your breath Grannie Grifter.
