The segment devolved into a shouting match, with Cavuto laughing off Bachmann’s indignation about Obama’s use of executive powers.
“You just said it, congresswoman, we might not get anywhere,” Cavuto exclaimed in frustration. “Maybe Republicans are within their rights, maybe the president is within his rights.” As Bachmann sought to defend the suit, Cavuto accused her of “conflating issues and being silly.”
“Where was your rage when Democrats were going after President Bush on the same use of executive orders, because I think you knew then that that was a waste of time then and I think you know in your heart of hearts this is a waste of time now,” he exploded.
Cavuto’s real rage came out in response to Bachmann’s suggestion that Republicans in Congress should simply defund the executive branch. “Think about what you’re saying,” he screamed. “Defund the executive branch? Congresswoman! If Democrats had said to you, ‘we’re going to defund President Bush,’ you would have laughed at them and so you should have been.
You know when as a Republican you are being ridiculed by Fox News you know you have really stepped in it.
You know I could literally watch conservatives argue and fight all day.
Just need more popcorn and I am set.

Fox News host flips out on liberal pundit for not agreeing that all of the Obama "scandals" are connected and demands that producers "cut his damn mic."
Courtesy of Mediaite:
On Friday, Cavuto attempted to link the recent revelations about the extent of the National Security Agency’s collection of American’s cell phone metadata with several other scandals that the Obama administration has had to face in recent weeks. “You see one incident after another that comes up, and it all comes back to the same basic issue,” Cavuto said. “Privacy is invaded or potentially invaded, institutions of all sorts doing pretty much the same thing. There is a pattern,” he went on to say. His guest, liberal commentator Julian Epstein, attempted to counter the idea that all of the issues Cavuto listed — including the Department of Justice’s probe of news agencies tied to national security leaks and the IRS’ heightened scrutiny of conservative groups — were exactly the same as the NSA issue. “If you want to conflate or combine all of these issues, then make these general statements you can do that,” Epstein said. “I just don’t think that’s a very thoughtful way of approaching it.”
Cavuto exploded over Epstein’s comments, calling on Epstein to “drop the liberal thing, focus on the reality thing.” Epstein tried in vain to inform Cavuto that it was worth taking each of the issues separately rather than lumping them all together:
EPSTEIN: Because I want to talk facts, and you want to make these general broadsides, Neil.
CAVUTO: Julian, you’re saying nothing and it’s offensive! Because Ben Stein —
EPSTEIN: Okay, why don’t we speak about them specifically?
CAVUTO: Julian, why don’t you talk facts? It’s annoying how obnoxious you can be on the reality.
EPSTEIN: I am talking the reality.
CAVUTO: I’m not going to play this game with you, Julian. You play the same damn game dismissing.
EPSTEIN: Neil, you’re playing the game too and —
CAVUTO: Cut his mic! Cut his mic, he’s going nowhere fast. Cut his mic! Ben, I want to be very clear to you — cut his damn mic!
Went all Bill O'Reilly on his ass didn't you Neil? Wow! Don't you hate it when your guest does not agree with your conspiracy theories?
In fact Fox is SO dedicated to pimping this conspiracy idea that they are selectively editing remarks from Rep. Elijah Cummings, who is ALSO on Darell Issa's committee, so that their viewers do not learn that there is no IRS scandal.
And if THAT were not bad enough it appears that the NSA leak may not be nearly as explosively as originally reported.
Hmm, it looks like the "Summer of Scandals" is turning into Fox's "Winter of Discontent."

Another day, another episode of Sarah Palin calling the President a liar.

She also claims to have jotted down "a couple of pages of a list of the false charges," which I imagine are simply made up out of her ignorance of the facts and her inability to accept the lies Obama pointed out about Romney.
However literally the only reason that I even bothered to post this occurs around the 3:53 mark where the Creature from the Dead Lake says the following:
"Obama is the master at spewing untruth, upon untruth in these charges, knowing that he keeps throwing things at the refrigerator and somethings gonna stick."
Yep, you heard that right, Palin literally mentioned "throwing things at the refrigerator."
I was taking a sip of wine last night when I heard that statement and I damn near painted my monitor with Pinot Noir.
Unbelievable that she would let that slip after we have ridiculed her for over a year since reading about her canned goods throwing tantrums in "The Rogue."
You know I have read quite a lot about mental illness and projection, but I don't think I have EVER personally witnessed a clearer case in my life. Simply put the woman would prove to be a goldmine to the psychiatrist that could coax her onto his couch.
Oh the books he could write!

Fox News tried to rein her in, but NOBODY puts crazy in a corner!
I actually watched the Grizzled Mama's appearance on Hannity last night, but she was SO buttoned up and minding her "P's" and "Q's" that I assumed she had had her wrists slapped and was afraid to go off script.
In other words it was kind of boring.
But of course THAT couldn't last, so then we saw the "Sarah Goes Wild" version on the Cavuto show.
Now THIS is the real Sarah Palin!
Literally the first thing out of Palin's mouth is a bitchy remark about her not being at the convention:
Cavuto: Where are you? Are you in Arizona.
The Lunatic from Lake Lucille: "I am and...uh..happy to see you at least through a monitor Neil glad YOU'RE there."
From there Palin is breathing heavily and sweating like Mitt Romney watching Clint Eastwood talk to a chair. I'm guessing that in between her buttoned up appearance on Hannity, and THIS one, that she just might have imbibed in a few (dozen) liquid refreshments. You know because it's HOT!
When Cavuto suggests that the Romney camp is going to embrace capitalism that night and say it's okay to be rich, Palin has this response:
LFLL: "Well imagine that! Someone will tout what we all learned in Economics 101, and that is free men and free markets are a foundational principle of America's wonderful exceptional-ism and um our prosperity. And the better somebody does in America the better we ALL can do in America. So yes, thank you Lord somebody's going to talk about success and the expectation Neil (Sounds like Nil) for rewarding hard work. That's what we try to teach out kids right? Work ethic! You'll be rewarded for it!"
Okay wait. Isn't THIS the woman whose kids have ridden on her coattails their ENTIRE lives thus far? And who have eschewed the idea of hard work in exchange for reality show appearances and taking credit for the hard work of others? (I am thinking ghostwritten books here.)
Then Cavuto asks about this year's political unity and suggests that even a ticket featuring Jesus and Moses could not have been successful in 2008 due to the financial meltdown.
The word "meltdown" causes the lipsticked pitbull to curl her lips into a defensive snarl.
LFLL: "Well first make sure that you clarify that the 'meltdown' in '08 was an economic meltdown, and was out of OUR ticket's control and...um...and didn't have necce..
Cabuto: "Absolutely."
LFLL: "Okay thank you. Just want to make doggone sure you're clear on THAT!
Once that is out of the way Palin calms down, and launches into her usual Obama bashing, and claims that EVERYTHING will be fine once he is replaced in the White House.
Then for some reason, still believing that Palin has something significant to add to the political dialogue, Cavuto asks her how the new Republican ticket should respond to charges by the Obama camp that Paul Ryan voted for the majority of the spending that has resulted in our current financial woes.
LFLL: "Well THAT'S when a mea culpa comes in quite handy and everybody who voted for TARP and stimulus, and six trillion dollars additional now that we, in debt, that we hand to our kids and grandkids to have to pay off that..which totals now sixteen trillion dollars in debt by growing government these last four years under Obama, well now everybody needs to say 'hey I'm sorry man for votin' for that, I'm sorry for supporting these bellouts (sic), and the Cash for Clunkers, and all those goody programs where centralized government planners tried to plan out economy, and they felled (sic). Well now 'mea culpa' say 'Sorry shouldn'ta done that. We learned our lesson and we will not repeat this, and we will not continue to incur debt. Period! We will engage in austerity measures.' They need to actually start using the 'A' word 'austerity' we'll live within our means in America to let the private sector grow."
Yep you heard it right folks. The "Grizzled Economist" just declared that Republicans need to embrace the "A" word, "austerity. The same austerity that has caused such dramatic financial problems in Europe.
And the Lunatic from Lake Lucille kept right on tossing her word salad all the way through part two of this interview.
In other words it was kind of boring.
But of course THAT couldn't last, so then we saw the "Sarah Goes Wild" version on the Cavuto show.

Palin's wig drags her onto the Neil Cavuto show. It looks like it might be on steroids now.
| Click photo to play video. |
Palin blathers on fairly incoherently for seven or more minutes, while the road kill atop her noggin occasionally readjusts its position or pees off the side of her head.
Then after vomiting forth her memorized talking points, Cavuto asks Palin about what she thinks of Ron Paul:
"Here's the dill, the GOP would be so remiss to marginalize Ron Paul and his supporters as we come out of Iowa tonight, and as we move down the road to New Hampshire, and South Carolin, and Florida, etc..
"If we marginalize these supporters who have been touched by Ron Paul, and what he has believed in for all of these years, well then through, either a third party run of Ron Paul's, or the Democrats being able to capture some of those Independents or Libertarians, who have supported what Ron Paul has been talking about. Well then the GOP is going to lose, and then there will be no light at the end of the tunnel."
However this support for Ron Paul is apparently only concerning his economic policies and the Grizzled Mama goes on to slam him for being an isolationist, and wrong on Iran, a few minutes later.
This leads the interview to talk of a third party campaign, which Palin fears would hand the election to President Obama, or the "incumbent," as she likes to refer to him these days. That in fact might be the one intelligent thing that Palin says in this interview.
This is where Cavuto honors his contractual agreement to ask the "Road kill wig lady" if SHE regrets dropping out of the race. (Gotta keep those Palin-bots tuning in.)
Her response in patented Palin word salad:
"No, You know why? I don't think, at this time of my life (She says this part with the strangest grin you can imagine), that I'm really wired to be one, to be singing the 'pick me, pick me, I'm smarter than you are.' You know 'I'm more equipped than you are. Pick me.' I've never been able to do that. (WTF? She ran for Governor of Alaska with no idea of what she was doing!) And I don't see that evolution having taken place in the last few years for me to be in the position of.."
Cavuto interrupts her and AGAIN asks her if she would be tempted to run as the third party candidate.
This is when Palin simply cannot resist grabbing onto the stripper pole of her's again and thrusting her wrinkled, attention loving political ass into the Fox viewer's faces again.
"What would be tempting Neil, would be only if as the process continues we see a kind of 'namby-pamby,'politically correct solutions that are proposed to the American voters when it comes to what it is that America can do to kind of MANAGE the problems that we have. No we can't MANAGE the problems that we have, we have to stop what the problem causing elements are, and what it is, of course, is government's growth, and our overreach, and our over spending. And if I don't see it, if others don't see candidates passionate about that, and smart enough to be able to propose, and then be able to implement solutions, well then that is when you will see perhaps other people jumping in the race Neil."
So to be clear. Snowdrift Snooki, KNOWS that a third party candidate entering the race would hand an easy victory to Barack Obama. BUT, if nobody is willing to state that they will adopt whatever constitutes the crazy fright wig bedecked moron's version of "proposing, and implementing solutions" then she predicts that SOMEONE (Not her because she said earlier she was not "evolved enough to be wired to sing," whatever that meant.), will jump in and run a doomed campaign.
How much are they paying this idiot for her input by the way?
Whatever it is, clearly most of it goes toward the care and feeding of that Scharz-wig-negger she has bolted to her head. Is it my imagination or is that thing staring to bulk up for the winter?
Nope, not my imagination.
P.S. Not to hijack my own post but it was just announced that Bachmann is dropping out. And rumor has it that Perry will follow suit.
It looks like Palin's fear of a "namby-pamby" GOP candidate is almost a dead certainty.
