So I watched The Insider episode about the Palin brawl finally.

"People I have spoken to in Anchorage are very tight lipped. And it seemed to me that there may be some fear of retribution by either the Palins or somebody associated with them."

That is how the segment started with these words from Elizabeth Applegate.

The Insider, which I had to DVR because it did not come on until 3 AM here in Alaska,  then laid out the story as they heard it from witnesses.

In their version Track was definitely the one that started the fight with Willow's ex Connor Cleary. His dad tried to break it up and Todd put the dad, Steve Cleary, in a headlock.

That was all the detail they provided but it does lay blame where it belongs.

They also reported that Bristol punched the party's host and that Sarah jumped into the fray. This also falls in line with what others, not associated with the Palins, have reported.

Then there is Applegate again speaking to the camera and saying "The Palins are the most powerful family in Alaska and nobody is going to want to go up against them." (Wanna bet?)

Then she follows that by saying "Ultimately money may unseal the truth. I spoke to one party goer who wanted to sell his story for a hundred thousand dollars."

Then they show part of Eric Thompson's interview, followed by Applegate saying that he told her exclusively because he talked he was fired from his job.

Afterward the two hosts joke about how gangsta it is that the Palins have this kind of control, and the female host jokes that she cannot talk because she might, or might not, have received a call from the Palins.

Now as you can see there is really NOTHING new here for most of us.

However I was pleased that this is yet another source confirming that the fight was started by Track, and that people are being bullied into silence for fear of losing their jobs or other types of retribution.

I think THAT is an important message to get out there so that people understand why it is so damn hard to get people to tell the truth about the Palins.

Now I have no idea if anybody is willing to pay $100,000 for a tape of this incident. The last quote I heard from a tabloid was between $10,000 to $15,000.

But I seriously doubt that if there is footage that it will stay hidden for much longer.

P.S. I thought I should add that thanks to some sleuthing by y'all we know that the yoga studio that Palin is emerging from is Anchorage Yoga. Which is literally only about ten to twelve minutes from my house.

However I have NO plans to show up there and take pictures or confront Palin, since I think that would be stepping over the line. Despite allegations to the contrary I am not a stalker and have never harassed Palin, or her family, in a public venue.

So all things considered this might be quite interesting indeed.

Insider co-host likens Sarah Palin to Kim Kardashian. I'm pretty sure he owes me copyright money for that.

The Insider’s co-host Kevin Frazier on the CBC network described Palin, the former governor of Alaska, as taking the opportunity to further her fame just like “The Kardashians,” who have been lambasted by some observers for seeking fame. 

In a segment discussing her upcoming show, “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” Frazier said: 

“The one thing I kept thinking - I have met the political Kardashian,” right-wing U.S. website Breibart reported him as saying Thursday. 

Bad news I just did a quick Google search and it turns out that just about EVERYBODY has been comparing Palin to the Kardashians for years. I KNEW I should have had Klondike Kardashian copyrighted!

I love this part of the article.

Frazier added: “She has made something out of nothing and people keep eating [it up].”

Well that may be about the truest things ever said about Sarah Palin.

Of course the one thing that separates Kim Kardashian from Palin is that HER reality shows were an actual success, and that success has now spread throughout her entire family.

Palin on the other hand has failed time and time again, and every attempt by her family to ride on her coattails ends in a complete disaster.

Personally I think we are seeing the final death throes of Palin's unnecessarily extended fifteen minutes of fame.

After this it is going to be sad little appearances on local talk radio shows, which of course she has already started doing, and old people porn that nobody will ever watch.

Bristol Palin interview on the Insider. Cue the talking points!

Here  is Bristol being interviewed by Jill Martin from the Insider, first about rumors that she and Levi are getting back together (I have NO idea where anybody would get that idea), and then about how supportive he is emotionally and financially.

"The Insider"'s Jill Martin caught up with the teen mom to find out if she and her ex Levi Johnston -- the father of her son Tripp -- are back together.

"No. Never. Sorry," answered Bristol, who also filmed a public service announcement for the Candie's Foundation May campaign for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month.

That said, Bristol tells "The Insider" that she feels it is extremely important for Levi to be a part of Tripp's life, saying, "Levi is welcome to see Tripp whenever he likes." (Can I just insert a "Bullshit" here?)

But when asked how supportive he is emotionally and financially, she simply says, "I think me saying I am a single parent answers all those questions."

Did you catch that?  She gave the same evasive answer about Levi that she gave on The View. essentially "I am a single mom and that should answer all of your questions".
