The poll asked people how they'd respond if a Congressional candidate had various hypothetical attributes. Asked how they'd feel if a candidate were "endorsed by Sarah Palin," the response was....

Have some reservations about this attribute 15
Very uncomfortable with this attribute 37
So a majority, 52%, reacted negatively. And an astonishing 37 percent would be "very uncomfortable" about a Palin endorsement, more than four times the eight percent who would be "enthusiastic" about it.
Now my favorite part of this article is when Greg Sargent identifies the ONLY TWO ATTRIBUTES a candidate might have that is worse than a Sarah Palin endorsement.
And those are supporting Bush's economic policies and supporting the elimination of various Federal agencies and/or Social Security.
Hmmm that kind of sounds likes a certain group of Teabaggers we have come to know and loathe.

The 8 percent that would view her endorsement positively are the same very loud, very freaky, homeschooled, uber christians that wanted Terry Schiavo kept alive on a feeding tube. They may make a lot of noise, but they are completely out of touch with those of us in, dare i say it, REAL AMERICA!

It is coming up on the year anniversary of the famous "I Quit" speech. I have the same opinion that I had a year ago.
ReplyDeleteSarah was under a number of ethics complaints at the time. Serious charges were swept under the carpet by political allies. But this one was too big to ignore. My guess was that the ethics people told Sarah to repay the money, and the matter would be considered settled.
Sarah had already spent some of the money. And, she didn't want to pay it back. Sarah gambled that if she left, she could make ten times as much if she left office. By the time they caught up with her, if they caught up with her, she would have so much that it wouldn't hurt so much to pay back the money.
We really had the warning sign this morning when we read that silly phrase, that Sarah was going to have to take one for the team. That phrase sounds like self sacrifice for others, while the truth of the matter is that after dodging Troopergate and numerous serious ethics violations, Sarah has finally been found guilty of something.

These people are contaminated and they spread their contamination to all, they have contact with.(friends, family, co-workers,even to the grandchildren) Once this contamination has infected someone, there is no reasoning,left. The people who are infected, seem to know something is not right but, they do not seem to have the individual inner strength, to over come this infection.
