From the quitter's twitter:
Most appalling US Senate debate comments I've ever heard were spewed last night in Alaska.Lisa's horrific attack on Miller's military honor
about 3 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®
"Oh my God, Oh my God! Did you see how mean they were to Joey? Don't they know I picked him special to be the red, white, and blue draped, Constitutional luvvin', Senator from Sarah Palin's Alaska? How dare that "Daddy's girl' ask him about his past. Just like me, and all of those who like to teabag, we don't feel we should have to talk about our past! What's done, and carefully covered up, is done don'tcha know?"
The portions of the debate that seems to have gotten under Palin's skin, and turned Miller's face red during the debate, were the questions from Murkowski asking Miller how, considering his unethical behavior while working as a lawyer at the North Star Borough in Fairbanks and the "lies" he has told about her, his fellow West Point graduates would feel about how well he represents their values.
Yep, that one drew blood.
However as this vidoe from CNN shows Teabagger Joe was not exactly pulling his punches either.
(BTW that bizarre caterwauling you hear after Murkowski makes the case that McAdams was not ready and Miller was not fit for the job, were ALL Miller supporters. They were very, very unhappy that Murkowski dared to say on television what most of us have already figured out about the "vaguely bearded one" for ourselves.)
In my opinion, from my vantage point right behind Murkowski in the audience, Miller and Lisa ripped each other to shreds leaving McAdams looking like the only grown up in the race.
P.S. If you want to watch the entire debate from start to finish you can view it right here.
I couldn't help but notice that SP's FB post on this topic today and her tweets echoed verbatim RAMansour's tweets during the actual debate last night. What a coinkidinkie!
ReplyDeleteRAMansour Rebecca Mansour
Where I come from u don't attack the honor of Bronze Star recipients. @JoeWMiller handled her insult with grace.Thank u for ur service, Joe.

@
@Cubachi @adamsbaldwin @trscoop her behavior was beyond the pale. She specifically used his military background to attack him. How dare she.

@
@trscoop @Cubachi @adamsbaldwin that question was disgraceful. She attacked the honor of a Bronze Star recipient. Shameful.

Murkowski, you are a disgrace. You just attacked a Bronze Star recipient's honor. Shame on you.

Wow, Murkowski is going to mock @JoeWMiller's West Point background? She's going to make snide remarks about a Bronze Star recipient? Really?

Once again, Palin whores out the military for her own fetid ego.
ReplyDeleteFucking pathetic.
Not surprising that McAdams ended up sounding like the only adult at the table....he has been doing that since the beginning. WHat the guy lacks in experience he makes up for with common sense and focusing on the real issues that are affecting Alaskans NOT his ego. (OR her Daddy's ego as the case may be.)
ReplyDeleteAccording to Geoffrey Dunn Mike Wooten was also a veteran. That did not stop troopergate. "Wooten further noted with irony that many of those who have been victimized by Palin during her political career--including former Wasilla police chief Irl Stambaugh; Monegan and himself--were all veterans. "Sarah is only about Sarah," Wooten said. "She doesn't care about the 'men and women in uniform.' It's all about advancing Sarah's career."
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Palin got her new pink panties in a bunch.
ReplyDeleteI ventured forth into the land that shall not be named to see what the one who shall not be named had to say on FB and to read the comments of her blindly loyal followers.
ReplyDeleteI believe if SP told her minions to eat shit flavored ice cream that they would all rush out to buy some and swear it is the best ice cream ever made. Those people are sad in a scarey way...donating more to JMiller, going to Alaska to help get Joe elected, and quoting scripture calling upon the wrath to god to destroy us libs. What happened to the Golden Rule?
Now on to Joe's military record. I for one would like to know what his disability is...I'm betting on psychological. What percentage of disability does he have? How much money (if any) he received from Uncle Sam...inquiring minds want to know.
But somehow in 2004 it was perfectly acceptable to question the honor of a silver star recipient. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteAnd did I get this right? Joe Miller committed voter fraud? My, my, my...
How creepy was the pink panty story.
ReplyDeleteWhere I come from you don't attack THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES viciously and relentlessly the way that Sarah does and has done since the 2008 elections. How dare SHE??
ReplyDeleteSarah plays the military card whenever it suits her. She is pure evil...and so is RAM.
Scott was indeed the only one actually answered questions and acted as an adult.
ReplyDeleteI am so sick of palin pretending that just because Miller served in the military he is honorable. Let's not forget about the five soldiers facing premeditated murder charges right now - one of which is from wasilla.
The vast majority of our troops are honorable, but it is earned and Miller didn't earn the right to just claim he is special and untouchable. If anything he has simply proven to be yet another liar like palin herself.
Hell we don't even know he actually got a bronze star so RAM should shut the hell up about that. Miller also claimed he got a full merit scholarship to yale and that ended up being a lie too.
RAM and SLP share the same brain and that ain't much. Joe and Track are their military cred. Track can't say anything and it is all on Joe.
ReplyDeleteOT: Arpaio Gives Palin Pink Underwear as an Allusion to His Treatment
reminded me of when Menard went down.
Yes Joe, tell us about your military career....we are all ears! Do some bragging why don'tcha!
ReplyDeleteshe is pissed that now there is probably a direct connection to miller, then her or the toad and some wingnut militia folks that the FBI and BATF are watchin'....yooooou betcha!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else notice what looks like a plate 'line' in Joe Miller's forehead? (I noticed this in the short clip). Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteThere are honorable soldiers that deserve our praise and gratitute.
ReplyDeleteThen there others who blacken the name soldier. Morlock comes to mind. Who knows about Miller.
I'm still pissed at Palin for making a mockery of the VP debate with VP Joe Biden. Someone should have taken a hook and drug her off stage. She's the last one to critique anyone else.
Hey, didn't Palin win a debate, and subsequently the governorship, because Knowles and Halcro got into a heated argument and she claimed she was better than them as a result? Wouldn't it be ironic if this debate catapulted McAdams in the same way?
ReplyDeleteMean girl Scarah has to hide behind Twitter and FB because she'd never have the guts to confront Lisa, or anyone else for that matter. What a phony. And a big old scaredy cat.
ReplyDeleteI voted for McAdams already - but, have to say that I think folks are indicating things about Miller's military record that are farfetched. Why didn't the press and bloggers go after Murkowski? I cannot believe she is as pure as she tries to project herself.
ReplyDeleteMy head is ready to explode. So, RAM and $P seem to think that you can get a Bronze Star and then proceed to be an unethical piece of garbage forever after, and only a total asshole would dare to call you on it. Get real, idiots.
ReplyDeleteBut Joe's wearing a flag pin so that must mean he's a super-duper patriot.
ReplyDeleteToo bad he didn't borrow one of Palin's that lights up and blinks so there's no mistaking what a patriot he is.
I'm going to vote for McAdams, the grown-up, tomorrow morning. All four corners at Minnesota and Benson had Miller sign wavers this evening in the rain. They are "committed".
ReplyDeleteWow, if Lisa had stepped up to the plate like that all along, she wouldn't be in this position. I like the show of spine.
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with many of her positions, but I really loathed her sheepy ways. You had the sense she expected to win because, well, she is Lisa Murkowski.
And she barely went to school in Fairbanks. No one finds her in any yearbooks. Monroe HS, maybe!
Do any of you teabagging ghouls remember the repuglican Swiftboat attack assholes that went after John Kerry's military record and medals even AFTER HE SHOWED HIS MILITARY RECORDS and that he was telling the truth. Those same lamebrained morons even had bandaids made up to ridicle his service medals and wore them in parades and rallies.
ReplyDeleteIf poor old scuzzy faced Miller doesn't want to be constantly confronted, then he should SHOW HIS GODDAM RECORDS (unless he has something shameful to hide!)
Now why don't you pathetic palinistas go suck up some more of that saratoxin koolaid that you love so well.
Well Joe's military career, such as it was, three years or so and out, seems mighty strange. He owed us taxpayers 5 years. I think he needs to explain.
ReplyDeleteWe don't need gory detail, just a simple explanation. I suspect he, and the U.S. ARmy, discovered he was not cut out for military life.
OT but very encouraging--all fingers and toes crossed--I think the whining, kicking and screaming tantrums from the Baggerz and their "leaders" on November 3rd are gonna be massive enough to measure on the Richter Scale. "Seeing Red? Vote BLUE!" signs everywhere in my "reddish" area of PA! And no one has removed or destroyed them! WOW.
ReplyDeleteWill Sarabecca be too catatonic to tweet?
Old Joe gave those pink panties to Sarah for Todd. Todd is the one that wears the panties in the Palin family.
ReplyDeletePalin takes shot at Murkowski 'family dynasty'
ReplyDeleteFrom NBC's Luke Russert
"Recently embattled Tea Party favorite Joe Miller, the GOP nominee for Senate in Alaska is once again falling back on his most effective weapon -- former Gov. Sarah Palin.
In a fundraising letter sent to Miller supporters today, Palin aggressively goes after fellow Alaska Republican Lisa Murkowski, who's mounting a write-in campaign after her August loss to Miller in the GOP primary.
Palin, whose long had a tense relationship with the Murkowski family dating back to 2002 when then Gov. Frank Murkowski passed over Palin and appointed his daughter Lisa to the U.S. Senate, doesn't hold much back.
After calling Miller the "only true conservative in the race" Palin paints Murkowski as being part of the Washington "status quo" and says she's beholden to special interests:
"While Lisa Murkowski and her special interests have nothing to lose in this race, Alaskans and conservatives across the country have everything to lose."
Palin then takes a swing at the Murkowski family by saying, "Joe Miller will fight for the people of Alaska, and this great country. Public service should be an honor not a family dynasty."
Palin is not the only national Tea Party figure to bash Murkowski in recent days. Last week South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) used his Senate Conservatives Fund to air an anti-Murkowski ad that questioned her stance on abortion and suggested that Miller was the only pro-life candidate in the race.
A CNN/Time poll from last week showed the race between Miller and Murkowski tied, each getting 37% of the vote. Democrat Scott McAdams came in third with 23%."
I have a very strong suspicion Joe Miller is a closet homosexual. That's why he got out of the military...he 'told'. Or got busted.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't tell me the old 'he's married with kids stuff'...that's just a cover, and he wouldn't be the first. He's been hiding this little skeleton for a long, long time. Run your 'gaydar' and see for yourself.
Not that there is a single thing wrong with being gay, of course. But for him, it's just another example of his lies and deceptions.
Dems and Independents voting for Murkowski in this race, should reconsider McAdams, and go for a way cool upset.
ReplyDeleteGryphen...
ReplyDeleteIF you have capability to sail a note into the Swag-Hag's compound, a response to her staff's tweet-turd is appropriate...
The Swagette brigade is showing it's narrow band, hate-a-thon side and it's amazing how Alaskans still tolerate even their presence..
Looks like JoJo and Lisa stirred up a little Swag-nado last night but the chief Swagger can't be bothered so she let's her Swagettes loose?? Amazing tolerance you guys have got...
Let's be honest Sarah. This is the ONLY senate debate you've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteyou would think the republican chickenhawks own the military. Dems do the fighting and the GOP talk about how brave they are.
ReplyDeleteYes, but will the rest of the undecided's think that Scott was the only grownup in the room enough to vote for him?
ReplyDeleteI still can't find anyone to explain why Democrats and Independents would vot for Miller.
ReplyDeleteOr why Democrats would vote for Murkowski after she and the republicans obstructed President Obama for the past 20 months.
ok -- sometimes my wandering mind takes me down some very odd "What if" paths .....
ReplyDeleteJoe Miller wins the election
More unethical behavior is brought out (sneakily by endorser Palin) shortly after Joe Miller is sworn in.
Alaska gov. Parnell requests (& gets) resignation of Miller
Parnell picks Palin as new AK Senator
I know .... its October and the horror shows are getting to me
What a bizarre idea that because a person was in the military they get a free pass for their behaviors the rest of their life!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't Palin have a lot riding on Miller getting elected and O'Donnell? I recall a huge deal was made about the upset in Ak and COD winning the nomination.
7:42- at this point, nothing sounds crazy. I could totally see that as a plausible scenario if Alaskans dont get off their asses in Nov. and vote in McAdams. I'm hoping like crazy sanity wins.
ReplyDeleteSo now we know that Palin does not know how to read a DD214 military separation document. She couldn't take the time to look up the separation codes. She thinks Miller's service was commendable, because he only served half of his military obligation. Oh, we paid for his college education in return for his six years of active duty service. So we can add four years of college to Miller's government welfare.
