The Sea O'Pee is so desperate to defend their queen that they are willing to take a sucker's bet. Well, almost.

John Ziegler recently wrote:

Of course I am very cynical about any “conservative” media member giving an opinion on Palin’s electability because of the inherent conflict of commercial interest in not wanting to offend Palin’s passionate supporters. Interestingly, Nolte’s boss Breitbart and his buddy Ann Coulter have come up with a brilliant (gutless? insincere?) way of navigating this minefield by ridiculously claiming that Palin is too good for the office of the presidency. Without getting into the details at this time, based on personal knowledge I can assure you that this is not what Breitbart really believes about her.

But regardless, to Nolte and all other commentators who claim I am wrong about Palin’s chances in 2012, I simply ask you to put your money where your mouth is. I am officially offering a $1,000 bet, at incredible 100-1 odds, that Palin will not be inaugurated president of the United States in January of 2013. This unbelievable $100,000 offer (along with details as to how I would pay in full with the money I had reserved for the charity offer that Keith Olbermann dodged) is available to the first prominent conservative who takes me up on it.

Well what choice do Sarah Palin's flying monkeys really have but to take Ziegler up on his offer in order to defend their queen?  However their lack of confidence in her is written ALL OVER the answer to Ziegler's challenge:

Under the condition that the bet is only operative if Governor Palin runs, we accept the bet and we look forward to cashing Ziegler’s $100,000 check.

Now, it’s up to the Governor to make sure we win this bet.

Number one they are so insecure about her plans for 2012, that they have to put the caveat "Under the condition that the bet is only operative IF Governor Palin runs," before putting up any MORE of their hard earned money to defend the failed half term Governor that they profess to love. And then they virtually fall down on bended knee to beg her not to make them look like assholes for taking Ziegler up on his bet.

I think that this, more than just about anything else, really illustrates how tortured and desperate the people who still support the Grizzled Mama have become.

There is really only ONE image that does justice to their misplaced faith in Sarah Palin's doomed political future.

That poor dog might stay right there until he starves to death, hoping that his master will come back to him.  I wonder if the Palin-bots are that loyal, or should I say, that delusional?

I would not do that for any of her followers. They are insane. I just lost my dog to cancer, she was twice as intelligent as Palin or any of her dumb bots.

    From the DC article:

"As for fixing the resignation problem, I am shocked that someone as smart as John really believes that an overtly pro-Palin documentary that is scheduled to run in just ten theaters in the dead of summer, doesn’t even have Palin in it, and which will be seen only by people who are already Palin fans will have any impact whatsoever on how the people who determine who wins presidential elections (the largely uninformed) would view an act they will inevitably, with the media’s help, see as quitting her job in order to become a rich celebrity. While I wish the film well, clearly unless it somehow gets aired on national television it will not influence a general election or even a presidential primary.

Nolte also cites Palin’s many great qualities and Obama’s new vulnerability (I totally agree with both of these points) as further proof that I am wrong, when in actuality those points bolster my conclusion. Palin is already known by everyone, has shown her very best to us conservatives, and without holding an office has no real way to augment her resume/narrative, especially since she is unwilling to do interviews with liberal media members. Meanwhile, the fact that the economy is clearly stalling makes it even more imperative than ever that we not squander the golden opportunity to slay the Obama dragon by nominating a white knight who may look great on the horse but who is missing any armor over her vital organs.'

Gryphen, putting that picture of the dog beside the grave, in a blog related to Palin and her bots is a desecration to the dog.

Comparing that dog's pure, loving, loyal heart to anything Palin is worse than spraying graffiti onto the Sistine Chapel.

Now, if you instead put up a "before" picture of Bristol, looking into a mirror and comparing her reflection to Snookie's face in a magazine, that would be more appropriate.

For Bristol was so hungry and lonely for such a Snookie image upon herself that she was willing to disfigure her face in an attempt to obtain that look.

Just like Palin's bot are so willing to disfigure whatever sense of decency, standards and principals they once may have had, for the misguided sake of their barren idol Sarah, who is decomposing more and more every day.

"Under the condition that the bet is only operative if Governor Palin runs, we accept the bet and we look forward to cashing Ziegler’s $100,000 check."

    That's a different bet.

The offered odds are based on two hurdles that need to be overcome: Palin actually runs; candidate Palin wins.

Let's suppose that Ziegler figures there's only a one in five chance that Palin will actually run. That would mean he's estimating that Palin, as a candidate, would have a one in twenty chance of winning, since his offered odds (generously) assume a one in a hundred chance overall.

If the C4Pers only want to get in the game after the first hurdle is accomplished, then the odds are now only 19:1 against, and their $1000 would only properly be matched by $20,000, not the $100,000 they would stand to win if they had the courage to get in the game at the beginning.

This is a MUST read review of Dunn's book on Palin. This reviewer REALLY digs into the book and delivers a blockbuster review!

Welcome to Kingdom Palin, the land of no accountability

In the run up to the 2012 election, there is perhaps no more flawed a candidate for public office, or flawed symbol of Americanism than Sarah Heath Palin. She and John McCain shamelessly "used" each other to energize the Republican Party. And even though the McCain camp knew that she was far from up to the job of being president of the USA, they rolled the dice with her on the GOP ticket anyway and put the Republic at risk. The price McCain paid for this failed experiment was that Palin proved to be one of the more divisive factors in recent American political history. In the process she became a kind of perverse conservative fringe media rock star. Jeffery Dunn explains all the reasons why this was so and also why Ms. Palin's propensity for stretching the truth made her little more than a "small town self-destruct" machine raised to the national level.

From Geoffery Dunn's analysis Palin's life since the Eighth Grade has been about little more than acquiring enough control over those in her environment so that she can tilt the narrative arc of the dramas of her life in a direction that feeds and suits the needs of her own private insecurities. Those failing to play her games, or who criticize and expose her flaws, are abruptly cut-off and excluded from the Palin inner circle. They become her sworn enemies, and once a sworn enemy of Sarah Heath Palin, you can expect to be obsessively hunted down and destroyed by a "forty something Eighth grader." Armed with "beauty queen" good looks and the manipulative skills of an Eighth grader Sarah Palin set out to conquer the world.

My local news mentioned Bristol's book and her story of how Trigg was conceived. The anchors had this look on there faces as if they didn't believe it. My 17 year old daughter was watching it with me and she asked, why is Bristol famous? I told her she's famous for being a knocked up 17 year of a quitter Governor. She said, that's just crazy mom.

@ 9:37, you need to realize that any support of Palin is diluting support for whichever GOP candidates do end up winning the nomination. I don't think you understand the extent of the woman's ego, or her poor judgement.

If you are committed Republican who doesn't support her running for the White House, you have to consider whether you aren't actually doing damage to your party's chances.

Many in the GOP are embarrassed by her and frustrated with her and don't want her to run. Why are you complicating matters by supporting her for no reason? Cut her loose and find someone you can support.

Encouraging Sarah Palin will only make matters worse for the GOP. If you give her money, if you allow her to taunt you all and play games about a possible run, you will have a big problem the closer we get to the election.

On the other hand, WE thank you for screwing things up for them by supporting a woman you don't even want to run!

She'll be the GOP Ralph Nader. Perfect.

The Reason Palin Has Not Announced Her Candidacy

By taking a “bus tour” before announcing her intention to run, both Palin and Fox benefit. The “bus tour” became a “news event” instead of a campaign event. Thus the coverage by Fox is, arguably, not subject to Section 315 of the Communications Act. Palin benefits by continued salary from Fox and free publicity. Fox News benefits by increased ratings via the “exclusive” interviews, without the requirement to give equal time to any other candidates. If anyone thinks Fox News stands for “fair and balanced” news, then they can manipulate the 2012 election to ensure that Sarah Palin is the “fair and balanced” candidate.

Ziegler is really nailing down his coffin, isn't he? He's betting against Palin. Even if she had no intention of running you bet she's livid he'd even suggest that if she ran, she's still lose. Never mind it's a no-brainer the incumbent is staying in the White House. Duh.

The dog is so sad. Reminds me of Greyfriar's Bobby, Hachiko and Shep. Dogs are so wonderful, loyal beyond all understanding, truly non-judgmental. Byron said it; Beauty without Vanity,
    Strength without Insolence,
    Courage without Ferosity,
and all the virtues of Man without his Vices.

  70. Do you remember that the gotcha question about bush's foreign policy, the one that palin couldn't answer during the campaign?

Well, I got a response to an response that I wrote, from a very indignant person telling me that palin did answer the question, but CBS cut the correct answer from the show, you know that liberal media bias!

These people are hopeless and clueless,no wonder she is making a fortune from them!

In order to get at what shaped Sarah's personality, the author takes us back to her childhood where the genesis of the horror show that engulfed and was to nearly overtake the McCain campaign, began. And what we discovered is that from the Eighth Grade onwards, the facts on the ground from Alaska, painted a disturbing picture of young Sarah as a person driven by her insecurities, insecurities centered mostly on her inability to compete with her peers on an equal footing for boys (even though she was considered pretty), academically (even no one claims that she was dumb), and in sports (even though her father was a coach). As a result, those who knew her best thought she was just restless and unhappy with the general landscape of her young life. Later in life, others who worked with her, did not mince words when describing her: as the "town liar," a sociopath, a deeply disturbed individual whose grip on reality was weak and whose self-awareness was nil. Or, as one described her as being "bat sh-t" crazy living in a fantasy world of her own, and as someone who suffered from a "narcissistic personality disorder."

In order to compensate for her inadequacies, the author tells us that Palin learned at a young age how to become a "glory hound" using her good looks to "bully" her way into a leadership role among her close friends. Once there, she became the very archetype of the "entitled spoiled brat as pack leader." Palin proved adept at using her good looks and charisma to manipulate her clique of close friends into doing her dirty work (as some Alaskans claimed she also succeeded in doing with John McCain on the national stage).

This pre-teen psychological stratagem, of being a dysfunctional clique leader, would follow her well into adult life. The "Sarah treatment" even as an adult, would still be characterized by the familiar suite of Junior High School small-minded tricks: cliquishness, underhandedness, deceitfulness, lies, rumors, social exclusion and isolation to punish those she didn't like, petty fights "staged" over peripheral issues, and generally constantly kicking up dust and chaos through small-minded spats to keep attention always focused only on her.

Learning to manipulate others into doing her bidding was a prepubescent survival strategy that Sarah learned well and was one to follow her into adult political life. In fact, the author leaves the reader with the impression that the ability to manipulate others may have so distorted Palin's personality that even today she remains unhappy and "pouts" when the focus is not constantly on her and unless she is seen as the "Queen Bee and Drama Queen" of any clique she is a part of.

And while this may have been a useful strategy in Junior High School, when she allows it to follow her into adulthood, it becomes what Psychologists term "arrested development." Judging by the disruption she caused within the McCain campaign, Ms. Palin's juvenile shenanigans were a textbook case of "arrested development." Sarah Palin remains trapped in the self-made fantasy world of the Eighth grade where she still sees the world through the lens of a drama in which she is the designed "drama queen."

The Horror Show Moves from Alaska to the National Stage

In interviewing Alaskans who knew her best (close associates, friends and family members), but also a trail of those who had been either excluded or "burned by her," the author came away with a much less flattering but a much more robust picture of what some in Wasilla had described as "the Ice Diva." They found her to be an obsessive "glory hound," always wanting the attention and spotlight on her. Laura Chase, a long time associate, who in a heroic effort was instrumental in getting Palin through her first successful election (only to later be doubled-cross by her), says Palin suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder (page 60). She also double-crossed John Stein, the Mayor of Wasilla who first got her a job in politics and state government. Palin ran an anti-Semitic campaign against him leading the voters to erroneously think that because his last name was Stein, he was a Jew when in fact he was not. (page 63) Stein lost the election to Palin.

It did not take long for the local newspaper (the Frontiersman) to catch on to Palin's modus operandi: She was lazy, incurious, quickly created chaos as a smoke screen for her incompetence, took no responsibility for anything, then lied about her failures, blaming them on others, and then moving on up the career ladder to the next higher job. The editor summarized the paper's case against her in an editorial entitled "Welcome to Kingdom Palin, the land of no accountability:"

Altogether, the vignettes in this book prove her to be another Christian hypocrite, morally shallow, power hungry and obsessively vindictive with a revenge memory like an elephant. She is a politician who ran off from her responsibilities as the Governor of a state, yet still feels qualified and entitled to be on the national ticket of one of the nation's major political parties. She leaves in her wake, a trail of unfinished business, failures in offices, from manager of an oil and gas project to Governor of the State. But most of all, she has double-crossed and betrayed the people who helped her up the ladder of success.

Thus the book also raises, in its subtext, an even larger issue about the nature of U.S. politics that would allow the likes of Mrs. Palin to rise to the top of the heap?

It seems that with Mrs. Palin's entry on the Republican ticket, we have now entered a new more dangerous era where substantive qualifications are bypassed in favor of ideological "gloss." Where "red meat" emotional issues are allowed to trump the substantive concerns of most Americans. We have a complex nation with world-class problems. How can we instead of looking for the "best and the brightest," decide to settle for worse and the most inept? Arguably, doing so opens up a whole new more dangerous window for demagogues of the Palin ilk to thrive: They get rich quickly, gain notoriety, and win elective offices solely by selling cheap "ideological snake oil." They then have their moment in the sun, screw up the country, and then move on.

The NY4Palin article is a SCREAM! Where do these people come from?

"The White House is reluctant to respond to critics on the right (why should they, after all?) but always finds time to respond to a Palin speech or statement."

HAHAHA! They IGNORE her. Doesn't THAT just irk her and her minions!

"The speech she gave at Madison, Wisconsin will someday be seen as one of the best in the last century."

Ah, yes. Great speech, all right. It's been referred to HOW many times since? And who exactly IS responsible for class warfare? It certainly isn't Obama.

"Sarah Palin has dumbfounded self professed Republican leaders on a weekly basis with her brand of politics."

Dumbfounded? TRUE, as in, "you're kidding, right? Am I on Candid Camera or something?"

"Palin’s struggle for truth and openness, to fight the power of corporate cronyism and government takeovers, against all odds, is epic."

Truth and openness! Cronyism! Epic! HAHAHAHA

Love that daisydem got in the last word: "What idiots!"

Yes NY4Palins article at C for P was beyond creepy.
The writer is extremely unaware of how most Americans view Sarah and also President Obama. She/he needs to retake high school government 101. Also how sad that that person is projecting onto Sarah all of these attributes that Sarah clearly doesn't posess. When you read that post and the response, it really shows what a cult they are. They are like followers of other cult leaders-the guy in Waco, Manson, etc. How can anyone listen to Sarahs talk in Madison and think it will go down in history as a great political speech. Sarah wont be a well respected person in history. She will be used to illustrate how in tough economic times, people cling to false idols.
NY4Palin needs psychiatric help. Saying the President is stoking a culture war while praising Sarah of all people-she/he is sick and delusional. I would never post there but I bet if she/he was questioned and asked to give examples of her crazed deluded assertions, she couldn't. She couldn't because her many assertions are false and this cam be backed with facts. This is how you can tell they are as mentally ill as Sarah. Facts don't matter. They invent things to fulfill their insane ideas about Sarah. It's really pretty pathetic and I don't find it funny. How fucked up is someone who TRULY believes that God chose Sarah and that she is even capable of being POTUS.
I hope they get help when/if they finally realize they have been duped. Or maybe they will never get it and will continue to adore Sarah no matter what comes out about her. Even if evidence proves she does NOT have a servants heart and she uses one person after another including her family and spits them out when done, they will still adore her. That's hero worship and it's sick.

C4P are a bunch of pathetic individuals who probably sit around wondering how on earth the poll numbers keep dropping for their beloved Quitter Queen, after all the hard work they have spent rigging those same polls in her favor. Take a hint C4P only the minority of insane Americans actually like Sarah Palin, most people have more common sense.

Sorry Gryphen, I kind of agree, but that dog has true, pure, unconditional love.
Compared to the unwashed masses, they'll defend Sarah to a point, then jump on some other wacko's bandwagon at the last second.
They're too uninformed to realize their queen bee is actually a parasite, preying on their blind devotion while laughing all the way to the bank.

We can only laugh at them, stuck on stupid and dead broke.

Gryph, I understand why you used that dog image because it will surely stick in the mind of many flying monkeys but I doubt that there will be many hanging on THAT long as quite a lot of them have seen the light and abandoned the bus before they got thrown under it. The ones left are much more like the disillusioned followers of Harold Camping's demagoguery. Their "love" of their idol is nothing compared to the true and unconditional love a dog has for it's master. Besides, a dog doesn't talk about it's owner's beautiful buxom body.

To those of you who think the picture is too heart-breaking please take heart. Have you seen the seriously moving film starring Richard Gere as a professor called "Hachikō"? It is based on a real-life story that demonstrates the loyalty that dogs can have for their human owners. Hachikō was given away after his master’s death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before.

The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait.
This continued for NINE YEARS with Hachikō appearing precisely when the train was due at the station. Please watch the film trailer here but some of you may want to grab a kleenex first.
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YsCQbAsptk
Hachikō died on March 8, 1935. His faithfulness to his master’s memory impressed the people of Japan as a spirit of family loyalty all should strive to achieve. Teachers and parents used Hachikō’s vigil as an example for children to follow. A well-known Japanese artist rendered a sculpture of the dog that stand to this day at the train station, and throughout the country a new awareness of the Akita breed grew. His stuffed and mounted remains are kept at the National Science Museum of Japan in Ueno, Tokyo.

Yes, dogs could care less if you are Jesus Christ, Joan of Arc, Queen Esther or Hitler. Palinbots are not worthy of being compared to this dog.
