"LIfe's a Tripp" or "How to help build a case for the noncustodial parent to revisit a child custody agreement." Update!

"OMG Tripp! My attempt to make your dad look like a loser backfired, and now everybody thinks I am a hateful bitch!"
Okay well like many of you I am recovering from my reality show hang over. (Not to mention an actual hangover, that resulted from my need to self medicate throughout the program.)

This morning I have had time to reevaluate what we saw last night, and all I have to say is "When did Bristol start working for Levi's legal team?"

I cannot imagine how ANYBODY could have consciously provided SO much useful data, right there in an easy to access video format, to be used on a reopened custody case. It quite literally boggled my mind.

Not only might Bristol actually be mildly retarded, but apparently so is her entire family, AS WELL AS the producers of her show. I know I should not be surprised, but I have to admit I kind of am a little.

Last night was such an incredibly distasteful example of character assassination, and libelous statements, that I cannot help but believe it made Levi's attorney's legal briefs just a little tighter.

Now I hate reality shows as a rule, but even by the low standards set by that genre last night's two in one episode was a putrid turd of a show. The dialogue was so clearly scripted, and poorly written, that it brought to mind dialogue from a bad 1970's porno. However unlike the porn, where the talking is just to provide a flimsy plot linking sweaty episodes of hippies humping, the screwing in Bristol's unreality show was contained in the actual dialogue itself.

Last night just about every scripted word was designed to trash Levi and make Bristol out to be an abandoned single mother. And of course all of it was bullshit.

Let's focus for a moment on the "Bouncing Bears" meeting supposedly arranged between Levi and Bristol, because I actually know a little about that.

In reality Levi did not even know about the meeting until right before it was supposed to take place. He received a call from Tank Jones, saying that Bristol had offered him money to show up at Bouncy Bears, and be part of her new reality show.

Levi had no idea what it was about, but knew enough to realize that it was a setup, and did not go. (Tank by the way was aggressively encouraging Levi to participate, despite not having a written contract in hand protecting his client, for any of you who still believe that he EVER had Levi's best interests at heart.)

So all of that teasing Tripp about seeing his father was all just a cruel joke played on a little boy, and done simply to push forward the Palin family narrative.

As for the portions where you see Bristol trying to call Levi? That whole "mailbox is full" trick is the same crap that Tank used to pull on me, and anybody else trying to get a hold of him. Not surprisingly the phone that Bristol was calling is the one that Tank got for Levi, preset to reject voice messages.

However Bristol knew full well that the way to get a hold of Levi was through texts, as she demonstrated later by texting him. However the question is WHEN did she text him, and more importantly DID she really did text him? (Since my understanding is that Levi knew NOTHING about this meeting it appears to me that she faked the entire thing.)

Like I said the show has done Levi a great service in providing him with ample evidence to take Bristol, and of course her puppeteer mother, back to court.

However that may not even be the WORST of the legal problems coming the Palin's way.

Late last night I received a link to the Massey brother's legal complaint, which you can find here.

I am not a lawyer but from what I can glean the Masseys have a very strong case.  Here is just a sample:

Beginning July 2011, ATI began to produce the Helping Hands reality series involving BRISTOL, TRIPP, CHRISTOPHER, and KYLE, their family and friends.

For example, ATI began to film BRISTOL, CHRISTOPHER, and KYLE living in a house, together with BRISTOL and her son, TRIPP. Helping Hands featured scenes of KYLE and CHRISTOPHER going to parenting classes to assist BRISTOL with babysitting her son, TRIPP.

There were scenes featuring KYLE and CHRISTOPHER taking TRIPP to a photo shoot.

Defendants arranged for KYLE, BRISTOL, TRIPP, and CHRISTOPHER to travel to Alaska and spend time interacting with the Palin family at their home. BRISTOL, ANGEL, CHRIS, and KYLE agreed to include the Palin family, as participants in the Series at the time the idea was originally pitched to BRISTOL.

Defendants shot scenes of the Palin family throwing a party for BRISTOL, celebrating her move to Los Angeles, wishing her well, and appreciating KYLE and CHRIS for befriending and supporting their daughter. Defendants shot scenes of BRISTOL and her family camping together all night. Defendants shot scenes of BRISTOL, KYLE, and CHRSTOPHER riding ATV motorcycles, river rafting in Alaska, and visiting BRISTOL' s grandparents in Alaska.

In one scene, BRISTOL talks about how sad she is that TRIPP does not have a dad, and she cries about not having any help with child care.

So in other words all of those scenes showing Bristol crying to Willow about Levi, were actually scenes that were filmed for the original reality show of Bristol crying to the Massey brothers about  Levi. And those were broadcast (WITHOUT their authorization) last night. So there is no way that the Palins can simply reedit the footage and take that part out, especially since it really seems as if THAT is an important reason for WHY the Palins worked so hard to patchwork this thing together and get it out onto unsuspecting television sets everywhere.

Like I said the Massey's have a strong case, and in my opinion, so does Levi. In fact after all of this time, the decision to put this steaming pile of mooseshit on the air waves may finally be the thing that destroys the Palin's reputation for all time, and keeps them forever exiled from the public consciousness.

Here's hoping.

Update: For those who have not seen the show and want to know what all the fuss is about, you can see the full episodes here.

Update 2: This from Sunny's Facebook page:

3 important Things that were cut out of "Life's a Tripp" last nights episode...

1) Levi got a call from his manager that day saying "when Bristol calls don't answer your phone. She just wants to argue and fight on camera for her reality show."

2) Levi was trying to get Tripp all that week and Bristol only said yes the day that she needed Levi for the cameras (bouncing bears) and Levi refuses to help her show out even though there was lots of money offered. A week later she changed her number without telling Levi.

3) The 15 missed calls I had from Willow earlier that day because I was at WORK! I called her back when i got off of work.

And nasty texts from Bristol and Willow all day that day.

I was obviously set up. That is not how our conversation went. She was talking over me the entire time.

-Taking care of some business today.

Ah, a little truth shines through the Palin cloud of BS.

Here is more from Sunny on Rumor Fix.

Some details don't quite line up with what I had been told earlier, but I will defer to her version since she was closer to the incident than I was.

Update 3: It looks like Bristol's show lost even MORE viewers last night. This from TV By the Numbers:

 Lifetime's 'Bristol Palin's Life's a Tripp' 10pm: 586,000 viewers, 0.2 adults 18-49 rating; 10:30p 426,000 viewers, 0.2 adults 18-49 rating.

Ooh, that is substantially down from even last week's dismal numbers of  726,000 total viewers.

Gee  I guess trying to create drama by insulting the father of your child on national TV is NOT good for ratings. Who knew? Besides everybody I mean.

Just when you think the Palins CANNOT sink any lower, they simply can't wait to prove you wrong.

The Palins have forever defined their brand as trashy, greedy and deceitful. While appearances on DWTS and SPA took it to a whole other (lower) level of pop culture, this self-indulgent pile of venomous spite and hypocritical whining is the final stink. Whatever anyone thinks of Sarah's rants on Fox, the fact that Bristol has given this "real-world" peek into the Palin family cannot be explained away as misquoted, taken out of context, or some other victimization meme. This was under her control, Sarah and everyone happily joined in - and this is what the Palins are really like! Nancy French cannot spin the stench of this away!

It seemed like willow was a little shaken up when she was supposedly talking to sunny at bouncing bears, then Bristol, the 2 faced bitch she is, tried to act all sweet like the two were old chums. Theyre bitches all right, but like you said, what do we expect having Sarah palin as a "mother".

The very idea that a mother would get a child's hopes up, realizing that there was little chance he would actually see his dad (because the invitation was last minute, offensive, and entirely self-serving), is horrific.

  4. Gryphen, I object to the use of the word "retarded" in the way it's used in this post.

A much more accurate and IMO more damning way to describe this behavior of Bristols (as well as the family) is "un-self aware and so focused on making Levi look bad that she failed to recognize that she's providing him with mountains of evidence to use against her in future custody hearings"

The same may not be true for Lifetime, however. They may have thought they had a goldmine showing what nitwits the Palins are, anybody remember Paris Hilton's reality show?

I have to agree with Dinty about using the word "retarded" to describe Bristol. She is emotionally immature, and being raised by Sarah Palin adds to her problems. None of the Palins have any self-awareness because the things that they do put them in a much worse light. An example would be that ridiculous fence that Todd slapped together to prevent Joe McCGinniss from spying on Piper in her bedroom. Photos showing the houses, side by side, show that with or without a fence, it was impossible to see into Piper's bedroom from the place that Joe was renting.

Sarah was told to lie low after the shootings in Arizona. Her violent rhetoric was not appropriate after people had been injured and killed. Instead, Sarah delivered her blood libel speech, raising the ante. Bristol firing a gun at Levi's book is a continuation of that lack of self awareness. It really means that Bristol wants to kill Levi, or she certainly wants to shoot him.

Need more proof? For a show that claims to show Bristol meeting the challenges of raising a child by herself, (in addition to a nanny and Willow-the-baby sitter), she also wants a co-parent. Lucky Gino. Four episodes of showing Bristol meeting life's challenges show her whining about Levi, hating Levi and insulting him in front of Tripp. Some inspiration to single parents. In addition, Bristol couldn't stand living in LA so she quit her job. Unless a single parent is blessed with a generous and helpful family like Bristol's, they have to work-- and they don't quit. Bristol flies back and forth from Alaska to California and next to Washington DC. Single parents on a tight budget would be better advised to save the money for an emergency, instead of running to Washington DC to throw a birthday party for Sarah. Bristol sets a terrible example for single parents. It is out of ignorance and immaturity. As much as I dislike her and the rest of her family, insults like "beefy" don't help, either. We should judge Bristol, Sarah and the rest of them on their actions and words.

What happened that made the word "retard" a target for extinction? Sarah Palin happened even though she herself reportedly called Trigg "my little retard". In fact she went out of her way to approve Limbaugh when he said he found nothing wrong with "calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards," and she then rushed to his defense! I am sick and tired of the word fetish police who refuse to recognize the fact that words have multiple meanings. It simply means the Palins have an intellectual disability, thus they ARE retarded. No I will not let Sarah Palin effect MY freedom of expression and I for one will not surrender my use of the word "retard". You outlaw this word and another will take its place. It always does. Then you have to start all over again trying to appease the word police who wish to abridge everyone else's speech. What's next - the "I" word for idiot, "S" word for stupid, "D" word for dumb? I for one am proudly re-claiming the use of "RETARD" satirically or as in "Less advanced, especially mentally, than is usual for one's age" because it fits both Bristol and Sarah to a T!

I definitely agree with you. There is nothing, even politically, wrong with the word retard. It possibly occurs with its usage. However, it is a word that describes a condition and any word that replaces it will eventually have the same treatment.
The condition that it describes is authentic: Persons who are not at the normal level of intelligence or if you will "self awareness" for their age group. This is a condition that is easily determined by observing the particular person's actions and use of vocabulary.

Bristol Palin is much much more than "un-self aware".

She has no moral or ethical center. She has no concern for other people. She lies about everything. Her only feelings are hate and self-pity.

And she is cognitively challenged. She can't attend school, or read, or write. I feel quite confident calling her borderline retarded.

The sad thing is, she can't even function at the limits of what intellectual capacity she does have because the monsters in her family have had no concern for her well being.

Colleen -- one could use the proper words to describe someone, i.e. IMHO Sarah Palin is shallow, self-centered, ridiculously stupid and uneducated, inarticulate, rude, obnoxious, etc. I grew up with a younger brother who had mild cerebral palsy. He was physically, not mentally, affected, but he was constantly called "retard" by other kids, and it was very hurtful to him. Very. It is also hurtful to people who ARE mentally retarded, because it's name-calling, not descriptive. For those reasons, I strongly disapprove of it's casual use in today's culture, and I never allowed my children to say it.

But yes, it's a free county, and people are free to be rude and obnoxious and use an outdated word describing a mental handicap (retarded) to make a derogatory remark about anyone they choose.

Tripp will be fine 10:40? Are you sure about that?

Bristol has already taught the toddler to say, "I hate you!" and to stick his tongue out at people. Bristol's efforts to consciously brainwash the child with her constant derogatory remarks towards his (alleged) father is outright psychological abuse. It's pretty sad that she doesn't see the harm this is causing her little boy who will one day grow up to read and google anything about himself. Why would Bristol go to such lengths to damage her child's relationship with the other parent at her own child's expense? Maybe she has unresolved issues from her own childhood that she is projecting onto Levi and Tripp Johnston. Without some serious psychological counseling Bristol is going to raise up one screwed up kid who is going to need counseling himself.

Bristol needs to break the Palin child abuse cycle now! And shame on Lifetime for allowing Bristol to claim that she's doing the show because she wants to be a role model to teens. Nothing could be further from the truth. As usual with the Palins it's all about revenge re-visited again and again against every perceived grievance. And guess who pays for it? The child.

      Delete
    4. Anonymous11:24 AM

I have to object anytime someone says "children are resilient". I have heard more child predators use that excuse. They believe that because their victims are so young that A) they won't remember it in the first place and B) if they do remember, they will get over it because children are so "resilient".

If children were so "resilient" there wouldn't be so many adults in therapy today. How many problems uncovered in therapy started in childhood? Some children are able to overcome harsh childhoods and recover but these are exceptions rather than the rule.

In general, children of substance abusers often become substance abusers themselves, child beaters were often beaten as children themselves and the vast majority of sex offenders were victims of sexual abuse as children themselves. Children are not "resilient". They carry the scars of their abuse with them - sometimes for the rest of their lives.

How resilient did Sarah turn out being raised by Chuck and Sally? What about Sarah's own children - substance abuse, vandalism, promiscuity, high school dropouts - doesn't sound as though they were too resilient, either. No, Tripp will turn out to be just like them - you can see it already in his behavior. And there is nothing resilient about it.

Anon 10:40, that is the most ignorant statement I've ever heard when it comes to raising children. I hope you are or weren't a mother, and if you where I pity your children. You need to attend parenting courses if you currently have children. II would like to see Children Services in Alaska start investigating how Bristol is raising her children and either make her go through parenting classes or give Tripp to Levi. I'm not saying Levi would make a great dad, but at least he seems to have more interest in his kid than to just cry about how difficult raising a child alone is. Does she really believe she is the only single mother out there? I raised two girls from a young age without any family around, but like most single parents I didn't sit around and cry how difficult it was. What do you think that does to a child's self esteem, that's not counting on how she's destroying the child's relationship to his father because of her immaturity and selfishness. In a few years this child is going to find out about how he was mentally misused by his mother and has a real chance of becoming angry with her and will probably continuously doubt whatever she tells him. Simply not conducive to a good parent/child relationship.

Yes Bristol is sick and a needy person. Hate to say it but Bristol is going to get worse and more paranoid than Sarah is as Bristol gets older.

Something about those two that wants and needs their names in the media, they need the public approval and attention, they both always has to clarify their screw ups with a video or a blog to justify what they previously did, they need to be seen as the victims, they both have to publicly identify people who disagree with them as stalkers and perverts that wants them sexually and wants their bodies, they both have mean girl revenge tempers, they both can't let things go, they are both illiterate and need ghost writers, they both were pregnant before marriage, they both used their kids to make their fortunes, they are both in unhealthy relationships, they both need nannies and baby sitters, they both are accused of having multiple sex partners, they both are scammers of the Alaska Film Tax Credit, they both bought property in Arizona, they both own houses on Lake Lucille, they both have questionable kids as in who fathered them and their real birth dates.

A lot of similarities between those two. I guess that's why Bristol is referred to as Sarah Mini Me?

Bristol can't get over the fact that she forgot to take her birth control pill and ended up raising a "mistake" so she falsely accuses Levi of raping her. I seem to remember that the Massey's had a problem selling this load of tripe. I feel so sorry for all Bristol's kids. None of them have a good life, not even knowing when their REAL birthdays are. Let us remember that the nutty and even criminal doings of our most visible politicians are of interest to very very few. Very few.

Think back to the ne'er-do-well brothers of presidents, etc. Nothing wrong with those who are interested in staying informed, but it's a far cry from the Palin Baby Hoax and the involvement and cover-up by the GOP VIP enablers, incl the MSM. That is of national importance as we move closer to this election, which will be fought as dirty as possible from the GOP side.

The continuing adventures of this hillbilly family are of almost zero interest to me.

Mr G: I wish you would focus instead on getting the babygate book out, or previewing whatever new it adds, or talking more about the behind-the-scenes difficulties of publishing it. Your blog, of course. Just my 2 cents.

  22. Do you know how sometimes you just get a quick little moment of clairvoyance?

I had one of those while reading about this Bouncing Bear setup. Not going is quite possibly one of the smartest things Levi has ever done.

I feel pretty certain if Levi had said he would show, Bristol would have made sure to "prep" Tripp off camera by saying over and over "daddy's coming to get you! And if you go with him, you'll NEV-ER see mommy AGAIN!"

Thereby guaranteeing Tripp would act like Levi was an axe murderer when he took Bristol up on her "generous" offer to take Tripp for a few hours.

Can you just SEE it? Tripp, red faced and screaming, sobbing "I don' wanna go wif daddeeeeee"- and Bristol smugly saying to the camera after Levi dejectedly left, "I guess there's something about Levi's, uh, parenting style that Tripp doesn't like!"

Obviously inferring Levi hangs the child by his thumbs and beats him with kitchen utensils.

I hate to even speak of such a situation in even an irreverent/offhand manner, but let's face it- what I described above or some variation thereof IS what would have happened if Levi had given in to Tank's harassment.

Also, too- Bristol's refusal to refer to Levi as "daddy" when speaking of him to Tripp? That is disgusting. Bristol, YOU are DISGUSTING.

For one...we would have to look at the Toad and Creepy Chuck in every episode...YUCK! And then Baldy could recreate the scene where she was peeking in the window of her sisters house while Molly and Mike were having a "discussion" and then Baldy turns to the camera and says...."I gotta get to a meeting...but keep the cameras rolling...just in case"!

And LORD...the taser incident would be talked about ad nauseum! But the best part of all would be seeing Baldy coming up with the idea to STEAL Beefy's first baby and pass it off as her on...Frank Bailey would be in that scene with that shiny bald head and an adoring look on his face!

So WHAT the hell is going on here? Did she snap?

This is the perfect example of a Jeckyl/Hyde personality, but who doesn't try to HIDE the dual personality, but enjoys DEMONSTRATING the dual personality for all to see. It's like, hey, come and see the Palins do the double standard, act schizophrenic, say one thing and do another. It's like Sarah's saying, "hey my loving supporters and donors out there, are you as confused as you'll ever be? As we all know, Sarah's faked pregnancy was unbelievably reckless behavior for the vice-presidential nominee of a major political party. Under normal circumstances, I'd say that this hour-long trash-fest of Levi was equally reckless by Bristol.

IMHO, Levi is not the near-saint many here make him out to be, but of course it's all relative. He strikes me, though, as basically a "little person" who the Palins take for granted they can squash like a bug if necessary. I would be more than willing to bet they've got something on him that they think will keep him quiet no matter what they say about him. It's rare to have an upscale apartment ('cuz we know she didn't live on skid row) to offer a month to month contract. So, my question is? Did she really get her own place or did she "borrow" another of her mother's friends homes like the mansion? Did she break another contract in LA? I heard the charity was only a 30 day deal (statement from the man running the charity). Careful Bristol, all the questionable contracts are going to bite you on your ass one of these days. I gotta disagree with you there. I run a commercial construction company that bids on jobs nationwide. While we subcontract most to locals our management staff is there to run the job.
Most of the time we rent short-term furnished apartments if they are available, or unfurnished with rental furniture. Any large city that we have worked near, from California to Florida has these available. Otherwise we place our employees in extended day hotels such as a Residence Inn. When you are asking employees to be on the road for months upon months we value them enough to make them as comfortable as possible.

When Bristol was in Los Angeles, it was to finish filming the stuff that they stole from the Massey Brothers, in order to provide some continuity. For example, Willow might not have been in the original Massey Brothers film, and they had to insert her as the go-to baby sitter for Tripp. Once the mansion's novelty wore off, the producers probably arranged to rent a furnished apartment for her for a couple of weeks. Anything in LA is not real, even though they call it a reality show. It is fake, fake, fake.

It will be fascinating to see how Bristol/Nancy try to rewrite what we just saw.
    "I really meant this...."

When you film, script and edit your own show, which you proudly publicize before it airs, in what manner can Bristol now make us think we saw something other than what was broadcast? At some point, reality is reality, Palins. You yourselves took great pains to let us into your world. We do not see happy, mature, loving people. We have gotten to "know" you on your own terms.

Now we CAN make a judgment about you, and, reading these comments, and the reviews of your show, it appears that your carnival show has come to an end. Time to pack up your tent, take off the spangles and the tights, and head out of town.

I think all this Levi bashing is backfiring on her. I have more sympathy for Levi than Bristol. The show is a flop. It shows an immature mother making sure Tripp has daddy issues as he grows up and who taught him to say "I hate you." I don't think it's Levi since she claims Levi is never there.

  46. Anonymous12:13 PM

It seems clear by now that the show's producers really don't care for the Palin clan. They seemed to play everything up for irony. I laughed out loud several times at such scenes as: Bristol sneering that Californians are all about image; Bristol complaining that people with cameras just won't leave her alone; Bristol whinging that Tripp just wants someone to call Dad and then referring to his father as Levi, etc. The shot that showed her mansion labeled with the caption "Bristol's Apartment" was especially priceless.

Bristol has to be the most clueless person on the planet. Her condescending, tone toward Sunny, her manipulation of her son, her call to Todd trying to make Willow come back--she is branding herself as a First-Class Bitch.

    Personally, I'm loving it.

White Trash America tends to be extremely proud of their dysfunctional anti-social behavior and the Palins are no exception. They are proud of it because that is the life they chose and money or lack of it has nothing to do with it. They are proud to be uneducated, toothless, drunk, methheads, popping out baby after fatherless baby, etc. To them, educated, non-dentally challenged, non drinkers and non druggers us are elite snobs. Look at all the reality shows that glorify this disgusting way of thinking and living. All these stupid reality shows exposing the seamier part of the population for the world to see just validates them and their behavior.

Yes, I fear you are correct. My head-strong 22-year-old niece just graduated from college with an accounting degree, commuting from home in her medium sized Arkansas town, and this fall will marry her first/only local boyfriend - a smoker with a high school education who welds for a living, along with fishing, hunting, frying, and proudly calling people of color by the most shocking names imaginable... sigh. 49. Perhaps we are watching how the 1% unwed mothers raise their child.
But no unwed mother I have known has the money to fly at the drop of a hat, leave jobs on a whim and be able to buy houses in 2 different states.
    This is a farce.
Most unwed mothers I know have been trying to balance work/ education/childcare/health care in a balancing act that is too fragile to believe. That any small catastrophe could send the plan into chaos. They worry about feeding, clothing and their child's future.
Call this show what it really is,it what it a vehicle for Bristol and her mother to make money without having to work at a real job, not to show how hard single motherhood really is.
It is disgusting and harmful to Tripp's mental health and ability to form relationship with men in the future that she is denigrating the Tripp's father in front of him.

It is disgusting that Bristol has little life or educational skills and her parents don't seem to care.
Remember, this was a teenage, unwed young women who gave birth and whose mother was off selling her own books across country during those first few months.

Is this the new republican norm? That unwed teenage mothers should not seek a higher education or seek job skills. Or live with 2 young men that she is not married to?
That she is not looking to find a young man to share her life with?
Is this really the way republicans want this issue displayed? Because the highest number of unwed mothers are in republican states.
Is this the way the Fundamentalists want unwed marriage to be portrayed?

I don't think so. Palin and her family have shown that they don't have the same values that most Americans share.
I am not condemning Bristol for having a child out of wedlock.
What I am upset about is the way this situation has been presented to palin's fans and their family as a typical young women's story.

When it most assuredly is not the fate of most pregnant teenage mothers.

What's really trashy is that Lifetime claims to be airing excellent programs that value women and address issues important to them. There is nothing inspiring about Bristol's life. She is not facing life's challenges. She breaks down and cries. She bitches about the child's father in front of the child-- that's emotional child abuse.

By the way, when the Wootens were undergoing their divorce, Sarah and Todd were admonished by the judge not to disparage their former brother-in-law, Trooper Wooten in front of his children, calling it emotional child abuse.

They both signed the agreement on 8/10/10, then Bristol published her book on 6/21/11 then Levi published his on 9/20/11. Since then, Levi has been pretty closed mouthed until Bristol started promoting her show and running him down. He and Sunny have given 2 or 3 interviews where they simply tell the truth of what's happening regarding custody and visitation.

This show goes way beyond anything Levi has said in public, imho. I hope He and Sunny can work things out for Tripp's benefit. They all deserve a break after the last 3.5 years.

The "Teen Mom" gal ((Amber something) hit her fiance in front of the child on camera and the footage was used to file charges against her. That has spiraled her into drug changes and such that she is currently behind bars. I'm sure that it benefited the show in terms of viewers.

Perhaps these producers are hoping that Bristol does stupid things on camera too that result in legal troubles -- free publicity for them. They don't really care what happens to her or the kid, as long as they get their payoff.

Sunny, who is seven months pregnant with Levi’s second child, also defends Levi’s absence.
She writes, “Levi was trying to get Tripp all that week and Bristol only said yes the day that she needed Levi for the cameras.” She explains that Levi doesn’t want to help her show out “even though there was lots of money offered.”
Sunny claims Bristol changed her phone number a week later and never told Tripp’s daddy.
Levi appears to be done with Hollywood, he has even parted ways with his longtime manager, Tank Jones. Ironically, Tank tells RumorFix that he now is in talks to have his own reality show.

The psychopathic Palins won't stop at bad-mouthing Levi, and now Sunny, but will continually verbally attack them even after the baby is born. They won't ever stop. They'll try to make the Johnston's life a living hell. If the Johnston's can move away to the lower 48, the Palins won't have any jurisdiction or any way to control their lives. This won't help the situation with Tripp, but if Levi, as father, can show the courts that he is leaving the public circus for good and keeping himself away from media, gossip mags, and Alaska, it will be favorable for him as a mature parent to gain custody of Tripp, even if it means an older Tripp. Meanwhile, Bristol will still be looking for a scapegoat to blame up in Alaska and be selling herself and Tripp at the direction of Sarah. I can see this going on for the rest of her life, or until she gets the right help she needs.
