Sarah Palin's oldest son has pulled the trigger on his marriage by filing for divorce ... TMZ has learned. Track Palin and his wife, Britta, jointly filed divorce docs in an Alaskan court.
Under Alaska law, by filing together, they are signaling they have fully settled property and custody issues, including child support.
As for custody, the now ex-couple has a 1-year-old daughter, Kyla. One interesting point ... Track and Britta had to watch a 48-minute video about the impact of a failed marriage on the child.
Okay let's see, married in May 2011, and divorced by December 2012. And they said it would never last.
Gotta love those Palin family values.
But hey, at least this one got married. So that's something!
Well so much for the familial bliss that the Palins tried to paint with this photograph.
Just like Track to refuse to pal along with the Palin family myth making machine.
Update: According to Radar Online, Britta is not exactly broken up over the news:
"I'm fine with it," Britta told Radar about the end of her short-lived marriage. "We just filed the papers so we aren't divorced yet. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the divorced finalized.
It sounds like Britta is glad to out of the marriage, and away from that family. Hmm I wonder if SHE would like to write a book?

This ridiculous notion was discussed at length when the photo was first making the rounds. The girl in black is leaning way over and it make her look strange and no one is missing any feet; if you enlarge the photo you can see it with your own eyes. One of the blogs examined the exif data for the photo and it is all original, no photoshop. Sometimes a photo is just a photo...even when it involves Palins :-)

Delete"nervous ticks" can be slight and concealed. Track may have declined over time. Something is wrong with him and you don't have to listen to him much for that to come across. If he developed problems due to his Oxy addiction (that was very serious) and later the medications from the military, his tics may be far worsened by now.

I do however think that Track and the entire Palin clan KNOWS that Track comes from another line of DNA and he has dealt with that issue most of his life within the Palin/Heath clan. He KNOWS he's an outsider, no matter what. I also wonder if exposure to war doesn't permanently impact soldiers and not in a good way.
I am a little surprise TMZ is doing the reporting, aren't they on speed dial with the Palin's wanting to get their spin on a story? I'm sure that Sarah is none too happy to have this hit the headlines.

Sorry to hear this. Give Track some credit--his mom was so busy with self promotion that he had no guidance from his parents. Got into trouble with the law and was shipped out of state and given a choice of jail or military once he was done with school. He chose military and got off the drugs and alcohol--living with another family was the chance he needed. Britta sounds like she comes from a nice family and never once has tried to get on the gravy train like the rest of this family of grifters Must have been awfully hard when Sarah called the lamestream media out for reporting about Britta being pregnant before the wedding--and Britta's dad is a minister and she knows that the Palins brag about being Christians but don't behave like one. I'm betting that Track and Britta have enough class that we won't be seeing them doing all the talk shows or writing books and on their cell phones 24/7 calling the tabloids. Cannot imagine any person wanting to marry into this family of con artists.

A friend in the Marines lost both his legs and his left arm. I'm honestly surprised he's able to think as positively as he does. I worked with an ex-Army man who had panic attacks when he drove under bridges because he still thought there'd be militants on top waiting to shoot at him.
I do feel sorry for Track and Britta. They really did seem happy together.
They have zero class. They have been part of the scams for years. I felt for them when they were young but not now. They are as much classless scum as the rest of the family. DeleteThis post was a surprise to me. Admittedly I don't follow the Palins, but I would have guessed that Track was one of the more stable members of the family, now that he's reached adulthood.
ReplyDeleteAn anonymous comment above claimed that Track has an involuntary facial tic accompanied by a noise. If true, maybe he has Tourette Syndrome, or perhaps tardive dyskinesia, which can occur as a side effect of some medications.

DeleteI thought it was odd that after being together for years and year they waited until she was heavily pregnant to get married. Were they waiting out the miscarriage period? Clearly they weren't a happy couple, running away to get married. You'd have to wonder whether Britta used the tried-and-true Heath method to get a wedding ring - and it failed because she forgot he's not a Heath.

DeleteThe only winners in this whole show are Levi and Sunny. I think Sunny has done wonders for Levi. She said he turned down a few big shows for big money and is a great husband and father to both of his children. They seem to have a great family and good parents. The losers are the Palins. Sarah will never run for office, she lost her looks and body, her children are a mess. Is Bristol still with her new boyfriend? The saga goes on. Piper and Track next to make more headlines. Did Willow ever finish beauty school. I think the reason Sarah looks like shit, skinny and rough, is because she knows a lot of stuff is coming out and she is ready for the edge. She is not saying anything and maybe told not to say so. She is a mess. We have all finally seen the final 15 minutes and it is not going to get better. Grab your popcorn. Are you supprised about Track. There is no price for failure in this family.

Think about it. Those kids didn't spend awhile lot of time in Bristol Bay. That was clear on the quitters show. After the first few summers over there, it was clear they were out of control. And frankly there wasn't enough hair dryers in Dillingham for the quitter.

DeleteTrack didn't tell Britta he was re-enlisting. What husband material is that? When did they live together since May 2011? Britta lived with Bristol in Anchorage. She has always been some kind of care taker for the family.
Now they aren't mentioning Track is in
Afghanistan or the Army. Track is going to college and the child support has been settled. Does that mean that the Palins have settled on an amount that they will pay Britta to raise that baby?
College? Yeah right. Bristol was 'in college' several different times too. I'm not sure Track even graduated from high school..although he msut have a GED to be a reservist. I doubt Sarah ever knew where he was. She used the Afghanistan story when she needed her Army mom cred.

ReplyDeleteMore bad news for Sarah Palin – her soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law Britta Hanson exclusively confirmed to RadarOnline.com that she is getting a divorce from her husband of less than two years, Sarah's son, Track Palin.
"I'm fine with it," Britta told Radar about the end of her short-lived marriage. "We just filed the papers so we aren't divorced yet. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the divorced
As previously reported, Britta married Track in a snowy wedding in Alaska in May, 2011, officiated by her father Reverend Duane Hanson and attended by her mother Elizabeth Hanson, as well as Track's family - Sarah, Todd, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig Palin.
The newlywed gave birth to their daughter, Kyla Grace, just three months later, in August.
"She's perfect," Britta told RadarOnline.com about her one-year-old daughter. "She's just so sweet."
Britta would not comment on any custody agreement she and Track have arranged, and told Radar that they are trying to keep a low profile.
"We want to keep our personal lives private and we don't want to say anything about each other or the situation," she said.
Meanwhile, Sarah's oldest daughter Bristol has been locked in a nasty custody battle over her son Tripp from her relationship with Levi Johnston, with whom she is not even on speaking terms any longer.

She is a the single teen mother who "chose life," and has such a hard life raising that kid all by herself (while insulting the father of the child publicly). No matter how many love nut photos Bristol and Nancy post, Bristol cannot possibly sell us the idea that she is a good Christian mother raising a lovely child. We saw how Tripp acted on Bristol's reality show. We know that there is always some guy hanging around as this month's trial husband. There is nothing on that blog that spells family values. The fact that Bristol has regularly cashed in on her "I'm a single teen mom" story encourages other girls to follow her example.

What always struck me as odd about this is that Britta is a NURSING student. She'd know all about birth control and why wouldn't she be very careful to not get pregnant until she is out of school. Something is odd about that whole scenario.

DeleteThere isn't much about that mountain side photo that says "wedding," other than the fact that the bride wore a white jacket with her jeans. Yes, people are wearing some kind of flowers; moms wear corsages on Mothers Day, too. There has been some interesting chatter in response to the "news" of Track's divorce. It seemed that he was always serving in Afghanistan, which made me wonder where Britta lived-- with her folks so they could baby sit, in her own house or apartment? Someone mentioned that Bristol watches Kyla (meaning that Bristol takes care of or baby sits Kyla??) Someone else suggested that Kyla might be Bristol's DWTS baby. As long as I get to enjoy wild speculation and imagination, I am guessing that there has to be a reason for a divorce-- otherwise, things would have continued as they had-- Track in Afghanistan and Britta somewhere in Alaska. Maybe Track followed the family tradition, started by grandfather Chuck Heath Sr. and then Todd Palin, each getting someone pregnant before marriage. Track may be roped into another relationship as soon as someone figures out how to spell TMZ.

Did Britta ever finish studying to be a nurse? Who watched the baby while she was completing her nursing education (Bristol? Britta's folks?) The article said that Track was going to return to college. When did he ever go to college? In fact, did he ever graduate high school, or did he leave hockey and high school in Michigan and head directly to the service?
There was no reason to release the information about Track and Britta unless Sarah needed a distraction from Dairygate, any other gate, Bristol's being rewarded for filming a lame show in Alaska, something else-- maybe involving Track soon. The Palin Family IS a living soap opera.
