Steve Lonegan is running for the Senator of New Jersey and losing badly, but not badly enough. Sarah Palin is on the way to put the final nail in his coffin.

I love New Jersey! Especially the "Jersey Shore." Reminds me of my kids.
Courtesy of New Jersey.com:

Tea Party celebrity and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is on her way to New Jersey to campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Steve Lonegan, his campaign said tonight.

Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate, will be at the New Egypt Speedway in Plumsted Township, Ocean County, for a Lonegan rally at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

"I am honored to have Governor Palin join us for the largest grass-roots campaign event in New Jersey history," Lonegan said in a statement.

"While Joe Biden uses the excuse of a government shutdown to avoid an embarrassing reception campaigning for Cory Booker, I am proud to have the opportunity to stand next to a great conservative leader who should have been the vice president as we go into the final hundred hours til victory on Wednesday, October 16th," he said.

Yes that is what you want when you are in a tight race with a very popular opponent, to bring in one of the most divisive, and superfluous characters in American politics.

By the way if Palin is flying to Jersey for this guy, you KNOW he is not running a "grass roots" campaign. Because SOMEBODY is footing her bill. Media whores don't turn tricks for free.

Usually I would think that having Palin fly into stand next to you, would be the dumbest thing that a candidate could do, but this Lonegan guy is essentially blowing the lid off stupid.

In their debate last night, during a disagreement over fracking, Lonegan said this:

“You may not be able to swim in that river, I think, probably because of all the bodies floating around from shootings in the city,” said Lonegan, provoking an audible reaction from the audience at Rowan University.

“Oh my god, oh my god,” said Booker. “This is what he thinks of our cities — that there are bodies floating in city. How insulting is that to the people of the city and others working together? This is insulting.”

Yeah, I am not sure he actually needs Palin's help to lose this one.

And I can tell you who she will NOT get the opportunity to endorse, or even meet, and that would be New Jersey Governor Chris Christie,. He is much too smart to EVER allow himself be photographed standing next to the Wasilla Wendigo.

But hey, at least she might get to meet her idol Snooki!

But then again, if Snooki has competent media people, maybe not.

Update: Here is a petition to thank Sarah Palin for helping  Cory Booker win this election. I signed.

The guy is a whack-job, should only be shouting from a milk crate on a corner in Newark, not in the State House or have any measure of power. I believe the news being pushed about him gaining in the polls is pure bullshit, the way everyone but Nate Silver said Mitt had a chance at becoming President.

Cory Booker will be New Jersey's Junior Senator.

While this race doesn't amount to much in the overall scheme of things, it amazes me that the scaredy cat Alaskans haven't publicly blown the cover of this tax-evading criminal family. The BS with the death panels was damaging enough, but she did endorse Ted Cruz IIRC, who did his lam-e-buster to try to gain publicity by screwing up the economy with the government shutdown over "obamacare". Isn't this damaging the US reputation around the world enough for them to give Gryphen the OK to publish what he knows about the Granny Grifter In Chief and her pimpy husband?

What the world thinks about the shutdown:
      https://www.google.com/#q=what+the+world+thinks+about+the+shutdown

Maybe the Alaskans don't care about the world...what the military thinks about the shutdown:https://www.google.com/#q=what+the+military+thinks+about+the+shutdown

What about AK being super dependent on the Federal Government:
      https://www.google.com/#q=states+hardest+hit+by+the+shutdown

Then there is the unreliability with the voting machines:
'Landslide' for Sanford Declared by 100% Unverifiable Touch-Screens in SC's 'Toss-Up' U.S. House Special Election
By Brad Friedman on 5/7/2013 6:54pm PT
Just after the March primaries for the U.S. House Special Election in South Carolina's 1st Congressional District, the race between Democratic candidate Elizabeth Colbert Busch (Stephen Colbert's sister) and disgraced former Republican Gov. Mark Sanford was said to be "a toss-up", according to surveys by Public Policy Polling (PPP), one of the most accurate polling firms across the entire country during the 2012 President Election cycle. They had Colbert Busch up by 2 points over Sanford in that early pre-election poll."

With hackable voting systems, you can't trust the system, although I think Cory Booker will win this one.

Put an end to this vile grifter's ability to capitalize on McCain's "reign of error."

I don't think Palin is anything to the Kochs except a useful idiot. They no doubt have all the goods on her, but I don't see her as being very helpful to them. She says the right things, but her credibility is zero, and her base is dwindling to less than that. Lonegan is a foll if he sees PALIN as his savior. Or, maybe, there is no one else on the GOP list of 'great Amurikans' who would stand with him (see, Sarah, everyone else knows he's an arrogant fool who is losing.) It's OK. Just another loss for Sarah. And a win for the country.

THIS is the guy that our Tundra Twat will be revving up the crowds for? What a colossal, arrogant dick. Listen to this:

Republican New Jersey Senate candidate Steve Lonegan said Thursday he has a way to singlehandedly stop Obamacare and help the GOP emerge victorious in its shutdown standoff.

Lonegan's campaign issued a statement encouraging Republicans in Washington "not to capitulate to the president's unreasonable demands" until after Wednesday's special U.S. Senate election in New Jersey. According to Lonegan, he will win that race against Democratic Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker. That in turn will cause Obama to give in to the Republican demands to stop the health care law.

"When I win, Obama will fold," Lonegan said in the statement.

Lonegan has been gaining in recent polls, though Booker still has a double-digit lead. However, his statement said Lonegan believes "his internal polling shows a neck-and-neck race in the U.S. Senate contest and that all the momentum is in his favor."

"My victory in this election on Wednesday will send a message to Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi that the American people want an end to Obamacare and the rest of the President's radical agenda," said Lonegan. "Republicans need to hold firm because seven days from today when Bob Menendez escorts me down the Senate aisle for my swearing in, the message about what our party should do will be clear for all,"

Read the Lonegan campaign's full statement below:

Yeah, and Romney was gonna win in a landslide, remember? The delusion of these right wingers is stunning! and the over-sized, narcissism seems to be the theme for them all. Palin, Cruz, Lonegan, Trump, Bachmann...it's rampant.

And when Lonegan loses, and he will, of course he will yell 'voter fraud', 'liberal media bias' and such because these guys are such poor losers, they have to blame something or someone, rather than own up to their own failings.

Beware New Jersey, get your asses out to vote for Booker, or you will be saddled with this loud mouth for years to come...and so will we.

I gotta say, I watched the debate from beginning to end on local television, and I laughed until my sides hurt. He spewed out so much bullshit and Cory played whack a mole with every single lie he spouted.
"Cory Booker is FOR abortions right up to the ninth month, my daughter in law is pregnant and no one's going to touch my unborn grandchild".... He kept mentioning Obama at least 30 times, and Booker turned with a quizzical look and said, "He's so delusional, he thinks he's running against President Obama" and went on to list his accomplishments as mayor of Newark. Lonegan got pissed because he wanted more than the alloted time and had a hissy fit trying to cram two answers into one while looking at the clock, Booker stayed on course, looked at the audience, and wiped the floor with him.

Can't wait to see Lonegan and Palin stumping. It's like "the Stupid Particle" version of "The God Particle".

Sarah is ONCE AGAIN on the losing side of history...

Papa John's, Applebee's And Others Pay Huge Price For Anti-Obamacare Politicking

According to YouGov BrandIndex, a leading marketing survey that measures brand perception in the marketplace (called “Buzz”), Papa John’s had good reason for concern as the pizza chain’s brand identity has plummeted from a high of 32 on election day, to a remarkably low score of 4 among adults who have eaten at causal dining restaurants during the past month.

    Ouch.

Papa John is not alone in his anti-Obamacare misery.

Fast food server, Applebee’s, possessed a healthy Buzz score of 35 before Zane Terkel, CEO of one of the company’s largest franchisees, appeared on television to complain about the law and to announce that he would not be building more restaurants or hiring any more workers in response to his objections to Obamacare.

    Applebee’s “pre-Terkel” Buzz score of 35 now sits at a pathetic 5.

Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker's father, Cary Booker, died on Thursday, less than a week before the state's special U.S. Senate election.

Cory Booker, a Demcrat, is facing off in the race against Republican former Bogota, N.J. Mayor Steve Lonegan. Booker's campaign released a statement about his father's death.

"Newark Mayor Cory Booker's father, Cary Booker, 76, who recently suffered a stroke, passed away today in Las Vegas. Today's remaining campaign events have been canceled," the statement said.

The City of Newark also released a statement about Cary Booker's death, describing his relationship with his son and ties to the community,

"The City of Newark is deeply saddened to announce that Mayor Booker's father has passed away after a recent stroke. Cary A. Booker was born on December 10, 1936 and moved to New Jersey in 1969. He spent most of his professional career at IBM and was happily married to Carolyn Booker for 49 years," said the statement. "Many people in our city came to know and love Cary Booker. Mayor Booker's father was an inspiration to him, and someone the mayor has often credited with being a principal reason for him entering public service. The mayor's public events have been cancelled as he gathers with his family and close friends."

According to his campaign, Booker was planning to appear at a rally for the Monmouth Democrats prior to his father's death. Booker is scheduled to kick off a statewide bus tour Friday.

I was going to say that she left the air-pump on a bit too long.

Maybe she'll be in the Macy's Day Parade this year hawking her book "Good Tithings and Great Oy!" Her platonic bff, Donald Trump, has some sway with the company, they sell his made in China "Buy American" polyester line of men's suits!

Wouldn't that be funny? Sarah Palin held aloft by helium and a hundred people down below holding the guideropes.

    Tea Party math strikes again.
A 12 point lead for Booker means Lonegan is winning.
BTW- Cory Booker's father just passed away ,
which will make Palin's usual trash talk even more disrespectful and inappropriate ,
especially if the funeral is the day Palin tries to make headlines with her slimy behavior
    and sleazy attire.
And where is Ted Cruz ?
    Why isn't Lonegan bringing in
    the Whackjob du Jour ?

The fact that Christie and Lonegan are friends speaks volumes about Christie. And, I may be wrong, but didn't he appoint Lonegan to fill the interim term
    of Lauderbach? (sp)
Something smells very fishy here, and it isn't Palin.

No. Christy did not appoint Lonegan to Lautenberg's seat in the Senate. That is what the election on Oct 16th is for.

Secondly, although they are both Republicans, Christy has not given very much support to Lonegan.

Hey, Creepy Chuck Jr., you might want to go to Wasilla when your girlfriend/sister returns from New Jersey. Lonegan is losing badly, just like the Tea Party Congressmen. You can feel up your sister just like old times.

I hate to do this. I really do. But I'm going to go there (and please forgive me if someone's beat me to it already), but what in the Sam Hello is wrong with her chest in that picture? It sort of reminds me of the picture of Bristol in the borrowed black dress the night of the RNC.
I am so sorry. I know I shouldn't do that, but I just couldn't help myself.

It reminds me of the way her belly looked at the end of the fake pregnancy, too...I think that pillow has gotten a lot of use with from the Palins.

Rafael Eduardo Cruz's standing in the Republican Party has dropped considerably. How's that Cruz ASS KISSING treatin' ya, Sarah? BWAHAHAHAHA.

I read somewhere yesterday that this was a rally for Lonegan's workers, not open to 'supporters.' Although, maybe they are one and the same....no support, just a few hundred dupes who think they are doing something.

She is pimpin' this event big time on her FB page and over at the pond. It's important for her because if this guy could pull off a win, her place as kingmaker is secured for 2014 plus she gets the publicity for her fake outrage over Christmas and sells more books. I sure hope the good people of New Jersey are smarter than this.

the approval ratings for the t-party, the gop, ted cruz & boehner are tanking to lows never seen in this country. so yes, sarah go deliver a speech endorsing lonegan and include a tirade against the president and "obamacare", go ahead seal your fate. Americans are sick and tired of this grandstanding bullshit that does nothing more than hurt our fellow countrymen. she will be branded as one of the instigators of this shutdown that will have long lasting impact on the country's opinion of the gotp and the villains who brought this about...
